Bletchley was my local station from 1986 to 2001 i remember those scenes very well i occasionally get off at Bletchley to relive the 15 years that i lived in Milton Keynes.
Seems like a great period to ride on trains, wish I was born then to experience them! How many 317s did you see? If you don't mind asking as I just love them, especially the /2s

Great stuff, I think my first visit was around 1980. Was always a flock of 25's in the sidings.
