The positive about it is that people are actually alert when driving, and roads arent restricted to cars going at like 50 mph, instead bikes and pedestrians also have a higher status. There is still some problems related to traffic congestion & crowd management but its lot better compared to 20 yrs ago. Great vistas. What is even more impressive is that India has completely eliminated extreme poverty in several states, which allow funds to be invested in further improving the ease of living of urban citizens. Even in traditionally mass poverty areas, the extreme poverty rate has come down to less than 20% now. The aspirational districts program has truly improved the most backward districts of India. India is producing millionaires at a very high rate - a good indicator that things are going in the right direction. And as hundreds of millionaires get added, they would all want to live in nice homes and drive nice cars and own nice amenities. Urban living in India should only get better and better. Nice!

The positive about it is that people are actually alert when driving, and roads arent restricted to cars going at like 50 mph, instead bikes and pedestrians also have a higher status. In America, unless there is a bike lane, streets are really dangerous for bikers and just in general not pedestrian or biker friendly. The con is of course that driving is much slower, but imo thats kind of worth to have a better environment for people walking and biking around their neighborhood.

Gracias @J Utah !!! 😁👍
Bro, J.Utah didn't gone to that very poor and, suburban areas, those areas that are shown are pretty rich and posh areas, that's why you didn't got to see any cow or something, as I'm resident of Mumbai itself, that's why I'm telling you about this, sorry for the bitter truth.
@@ElGringoDeLa48 Brother, you are also correct, we accept that our country like India, Venezuela etc are poor and underdeveloped in comparison to western countries, but not that much as international media portray us, it's their propaganda that only the European countries and North America, Australia, etc are developed and rest of the world they look as poor and illiterate, and uncivilized

I live in New York and have never had the opportunity to visit Mumbai, watching this video makes me appreciate how splendid and gorgeous Mumbai is. It reminds me of my trip to Tokyo, which was also a very big and exciting city.
I think Asian cities have a really interesting vibe because of how dense everything is and how the cities go on for so long. As those dense areas get more and more developed they start looking like some futuristic cityscape you might see in a dystopian movie
I love how vibrant colors are in the upload.

When Michael Jackson visited Mumbai in 1996 he has told that Mumbai is a city of future. And its happening now with clean roads, good traffic management & from some parts especially from Sea-Link Mumbai's skyline looks similar to dubai or Chicago. Nice!
