Absolutely honored and delighted to have interacted with Jaeger-LeCoultre flagship boutique in the Dubai Mall where i was introduced to this new Polaris Date Green dial during my shoot for the Polaris perpetual!
In 2022, Jaeger-LeCoultre has enriched its sporty-chic Polaris line with a This Green Polaris Date for the first time. Elegant and visually striking, the dial of the Polaris Boutique Limited Edition reference Q906863J is lacquered in a deep gradient-green colour on the outer bezel with a different hue of green on the inner dial, taking its aesthetic cues from the previous gen Polaris this one comes with open case back and carrying the all new calibre 899AB.

I bought one a couple of months ago and I absolutely love it. It is pretty much my go to watch at the moment.
JLC is pure class, so underrated and perhaps even more in the sea of hyped up brands. I do prefer the double blue gradient of the Polaris but this will be high on my list if I ever change. Thanks for the video.

I love this Polaris! One of, if not, the best diver available in the market. The problem for me is that I already have two divers ... Seamaster 300 with a silver dial and a Blancpain Bathyscaphe 38mm in blue ... I don't think I should have 3 divers ... even if it is quite different.
I picked up this watch from JLC boutique back in Aug and I love it , super comfy and doesn’t scream like other brand to look at me

I absolutely love this olive color on the Polaris, especially with the Fume dial. They pretty much nailed everything that someone could want in a swimmable watch...but why is one of the crowns screwed down but the other isn't? It's a very peculiar decision but I imagine it won't adversely affect the water resistance since it is ISO certified.
great review thanks. I rate the blue dial the highest but the measly power reserve on that one is a bit of an issue for the price.

Great video and great watch. The crown unfortunately is not screw down.
1. Crown is push not screw (compressor case design so not required to screw down).
2. Rotor is not Rhodium plated its solid tungsten.
3. Please move the 12 o’clock marker back to 12 😩

Lug to lug I believe is around 48mm so it should. Lugs are short and curve down pretty well

It looks very nice and I have a JLC, but my core collection watches are sports icons from the 1960s... They must be over 50 years old, original production, like Omega, Rolex, UG or Heuer. No modern pieces. Waves my Heuer 3646.

I tried one when they first launched. Beautiful watch. Deal breaker for me is the movement doesn’t completely fill the case.
? JLC 's not gonna do a new calibre for every size of watch ffs, not at less than 10g's. Think about it, I could agree that the disparity is made obvious by the open caseback but if thats a deal breaker for ya then half the watches in the world are out....
@@jamesblonde2271 I hear that, and for me there are other watches for this price with movements that suit the case size. I probably should add, I own a Reverso Grande Date and Master Hometime (first edition).
@@garysmith1477 Ah, I see that aspect is obviously very important to you, the Reverso is of course an amazing movment and the case shape is a huge part of that, for the love of God never look in the back of the Longines Legend diver, its horrible.....

Hey Ridah - I think you are based in Dubai? My son is headed over in Nov to shoot some content for a non-watch channel and he wants to know if Rolex's are any easier to get from ADs there? Seems to be loosening up a bit in the US but some areas within the US are still very tight.

Gorgeous watch. Would buy one if 40MM; 42 is too large for my taste.
39-40mm is my go to size as well, however try it on I’ll surprise you!
With a collection like yours, where would you find the time or want to wear this over a VC and a patek. At any given setting this woudlnt be the first watch id pick up and be like yes I want to wear this

I completely understand your preference! Im the same, no date and slimmer case, yes! But get this in hand and give it a try, it’s surprisingly acceptable 😂
@@WatchSociety Cheers mate (also wearing my 1085-A). I usually prefer a date complication, but not when it disturbs watches with big indices at 3, 6, 9 and 12. This would be easily solved by having the date at 4.30, but to each their own.
