I cannot waste money on skincare so I use the entire bottle every time weather I like it or not and I think it’s the reason I don’t have many problems with my skin anymore. It’s not really that I use expensive actives, it’s just I consistently use my cheap stuff 😹

Good morning Dr Dray! I always look forward to the vlogs on the weekends.
I used to use Skinoren when I was younger for breakouts but as I got older, I needed something stronger. I also used Adapalene for a couple of years but then switched over to Tretinoin which has been the most effective for me. That being said, I am going to consider Aviclear laser at some point. By the way, I have really been into Korean and Japanese fermented skincare products; helped so much with my skin barrier and how oily my skin used to look.
Another fun vlog, the trip to Walmart and the library was nice to see 😊 I've been using the same skin care products for years. I'm pleased with the Neutrogena daily ultra gentle creamy cleanser and the Hydro Boost cleansing gel. When I have some water, either in a glass or in my water container, I always put some frozen fruit in there too keeps my water chilled for most of the day. Take care everyone ⛱🧋

The iPod touch! Yes! I had one in highschool and I honestly miss the simplicity. I don't care for Apple products for all of the same things you mentioned. I am an Android fan all the way. There's so much freedom in the comparability with other Androids regardless of brand.😊

The peach slices azelaic acid is so good! I also have prescription strength, but I like to make that last long so I use the peach slices in the morning. So so good and the formula is not gritty or powdery at all!

Azaleic acid has been great to me the last couple of months as Ive been experiencing major breakouts! Thank you for talking about it or else I don’t think I would have tried the Paula’s Choice one.
Also, I love plain water too! If there’s any flavoring, I don’t feel like it’s hydrating me properly.
I also feel very much the same about media platforms that function primarily on recommendations. Like don’t tell me what to watch! I came here with my own intent and agenda! 😂

I'm right there with you Dr Dray with the water! Plain, unflavored water is the only thing to satisfy when thirsty! I find the artificially flavored waters too sweet and sickly. If I want to flavor my water though, I'd just stick a lemon slice in it. Even cucumber slices are good too.

FYI I have finally taken the sunscreen plunge thanks to you and to Dr Idriss. I can't wear chemical sunscreens or the tinted sunscreens but fluid mineral sunscreens are okay! Still getting used to the feel of my face having more 'stuff' on it but so far so good.
I have a digital Walkman--it's tiny, hi-res sound is amazing and it holds every song/album I have ever owned and I love it! I like to mix my water half and half with seltzer for the bubbles and a splash of lemon juice.

I have a "my mini" skillet and noodle cooker. It works great but the Teflon will wear off very quickly. So I line it with parchment paper and use it to cook lots of foods. There's no temperature control ..but it automatically reaches a max and shut s off. It maintains the temperature.
If you like the mini appliances- I have a "nostalgia" brand egg cooker mini..it is great ! That is multi purpose also. (I've cooked rice in it and gluten free pasta )Though I don't think it's meant to be ,lol..I've had mine for 3 yrs.

I have to be extremely thirsty to delight in plain water.
I am also a sucker for carbonation in beverages while I take a meal. I find it gives me the feeling of my food breaking down easier in the gut for some reason.(im sure it is an iluuuuusion!)I don't mind water that is flavored but unsweetened/lightly sweet. Seems to be the most enjoyable,to add a sip of fruit juice to a larger volume of water.
On a different note,Doc,how do you feel about skincare mail kits like Cureology etc. Limiting your routine to 3 products that are supposedly targeted for your needs?

My very first apple product was the iPod shuffle. Held a whopping 99 songs and I LOVED that thing. The size was so easy to carry at all times and it didn’t have a screen, so it was pretty durable

Living in S Florida I drink (plain) water a LOT. My well water isn’t tasty so I run it through my Berkey filtration system and it’s awesome. Most minerals are preserved.

I’m on a complete Dr. Dray copy-cat skin regimen and it works so great for me. My go to sunscreens are DRMTLGY Spf46 and La-Roche Posay Anthelios UVmune 400 - anazing finds from Dr. Dray. Tretinoin, CoQ10 serum, Hado-Labo Oil, CeraVe Facewash. I have strangers complementing my sceen and asking what products I use and what I do to get my skin glowing like it is!
I was prescribed Tret and Azelaic acid but my derm said absolutely nothing to me about it thank God for Dr.Dray and my insurance

I used the 16GB iPod touch from 2009-2022. It still works perfectly. I can't have phones with cameras out in my workplace due to PII, and my former manager stupidly considered listening to music on your phone--even if it was locked in a drawer using airpods with the screen off--to be "out." Last year I switched to my new upgraded iPhone that stores ALL 75GB of my music, and I haven't gotten a complaint (keeping it in my pocket in sensitive areas of the building).

I just got a new prescription for 15% Finacea here in Canada and it would have cost me $43 if I didn’t have coverage through my company benefits! Still paid $10 but was surprised at how expensive it is. It does work to control redness though and lasts a long time.

Plain water works for me if I if it’s actually cold I cannot drink lukewarm water some people will try to hand that to me and that is the only like water I’ll drink if I am like dying of thirst if I am like super thirsty but it Hass to be cold and I don’t always crave it

Hi Doc! Question: Do you have an opinion on the prescription cream called 'Skin Lite', it combines Hydroquinone 2% + Tretinoin 0.05% + Hydrocortisone 1% - It does also contain preservative parabens (Methyl + Propyl), which is my main concern.

Always have chosen to drink plain water as long as I can remember (at least since age ten.) Could never understand other people liking, e.g., soft drinks - which always made me more thirsty and made my mouth feel sticky. (As an adult, I thank my lucky stars that I didn't conform). Also can't tolerate ice in my water(!) as I have "cold-induced asthma". Enjoy your videos! ❤
