But the whole design language is not all bad. The look & feel and the animations (what I meant is the animation when you're typing, and the menu animations), etc., were very innovative back then. That's why Windows 10 is better, and for me, is as good as Windows 7. It has a modern flat design like Windows 8; meanwhile, the UX has been improved by bringing back the Start Menu.

For the theme that has the status bar & button highlighting is the color of the app's icon (Blue, Green, Red), the White theme still exists in Office 2021. I have the "Try the new experience" feature disabled in the Coming Soon page to mimic the look of Office 2013 because with the feature enabled, the status bar became white.

During High school (2018) the school desktop computers were on Windows 7 with Office 2010 on the server drive. We used office 2010 all the time, and to the point where now it is nostalgic to me and I am searching for a way to have office 2010 on windows 11! LOL

Alternatively you can use 7-zip to extract and view the archive of the .docx file without having to change the extension to .zip file and extracting it!
I think Microsoft Office 2013 was the best, and the most "innovating" one, because it was more refined, simple, conscise and it had a less confusing interface than the previous ones from 2010 - 2003, and I know that many people doesn't like the white interface/theme but it doesnt bothers me, I love 2013 one. (imo)

What? I can't insert Screenshots into Word 2007??? Did they remove the feature in some of the previous versions? The insert screenshot feature was added in Office 2010. You can still insert a screenshot by pressing the Print Screen key and then pasting it into the document.
I am not a computer expert. A few months ago, I updated Microsoft office from 2016 to 2019. And I could use it for a month, but now, I don't know if it automatically restricted me from using, I can't do any changes to my documents that I created before updating. I can enter the application, but I can't type, delete, add shapes and animations. I can do nothing, everything in the Ribbon just turn to white, grey. What should I do? I personally use Microsoft Office 2007 with a Toshiba Satellite running Windows 10. Works the best in my opinion.
