I’m probably one of the few, but personally these are in my top 10. Simple clean color way, easy to rock with anything, and am glad people weren’t overly hyped when they dropped, which gave me a win on SNKRS.

I remember when these originally dropped in 2013. I was in middle school 8th grade and EVERYBODY had these. Wish shoes were as easy to get as they were back then compared to now.
We’re round about the same age group then because I was in 7th grade when these originally dropped back in 2013 time flies for real but these are still sitting bro along with some other releases like the Obsidian 13s and Bordeaux 6s and lightning 4s

Just got me a pair of these 5’s because of the clean black and white color way. Especially with the paint splatter on the shark fin. Really made this sneaker my 3nd pair or Jordan’s in my life, the Sweater 7’s being the first as well as Jordan 1

Bought my first pair of 5's in September with the shattered blackboard and personally I love the fit more than ythe few pair of 6's I own, will definitely pick these up now as the black and white scheme just matches with everything! Loved your video!

Bought the same pair in 2013 when they first released....Foamer is right, 5's were the shiiit back then. EVERYONE wanted a dope 5 and this was it. Gotta ton of good wears out of it and eventually sold it in 2017 i think. Love the simple clean CW and love a dope 5.

I have some personal pairs of J1 highs and mids. I flipped the travis scott after I got them in EA and noticed a fabrication error on the toebox. I returned the J1 Electro Orange straight back to Nike after receiving cuz they smelled horrible (got me headaches) and were heavily scuffed on the black leather, the white panels wasn well either. Copped J4 Lightnings and two J5 Moonlight, Oreo w/e u wanna call em. I have some Quai 54 and Alternate Bel-Air as beaters and must say that QC the 4s and 5s r always on point. The Jordan 1 and the dunks I cop for resale r always a coinflip in things of quality. you would expect otherwise for such a high pricepoint. Despite that ppl will buy them non the less. J5s r my go to just out of comfort and nostalgia ofc - fresh prince 90s kid here👊.

Man I can’t believe I missed out on these, I’ve just gotten more into this sneaker game recently.
Got these a couple of weeks ago and I will wear these a ton. They go with most fits, are comfortable (although they heat my feet up if I’m moving around a lot) and sturdy. Wear these ones into the ground.

@@nailtonlopes6369 I have a wide foot, so I always go up half a size or a full size. For these I went up a full size and they fit nice in the width.

crazy these first came out my sophomore year, i wanted these bad but they didn’t come out until November & my mom had already got me the citrus 8s as my back to school kicks lol mind u those 8s came out in May 2013!! i had to wait all summer to wear those on the first day of school in September lol man times were hard i’m blessed to be where i am now

First Jordan’s was the J5s in 1990, the OG Black with 3M tongue. Still an emotional favourite, (more than happy to pick up the 2016 drop). These will be a nice edition to the J5 collection, (agree with Foamer’s score), thanks for the review. 🙏

No, but I live in the UK where it rains constantly so I actively avoid anything that's quite suede-like. Leather like Nubuck is fine and protects a bit more easily, but suede is a fucking nightmare and will get ruined even with protector

Ngl ever since I really got back into sneakers I was stuck only keeping the Jordan 1 highs and Sb dunks for myself because those 2 models have always been my favourite and Sbs and Jordan 1s are what got me really into sneakers. However I’m super glad I’ve finally been able to get my sizes in some of these other releases that aren’t 1s or dunks. I now at least have a pair of 5s and 4s in my collection. Definitely planning on getting more 5s and 4s because damn I miss those models idk why I was sleeping on em for a while there. Only issue with em is that absolute everyone has them & I personally don’t like wearing the same sneakers absolutely everyone’s wearing. I agree it’s good that lots of people are able to get a nice pair of sneakers relatively easily however I hate seeing people with 0 style or drop wearing the same sneakers are you it completely kills it for me and basically everyone ik that ain’t into sneakers and has 0 drip have these

This shoe speaks to the meta of the sneaker game. It's called Moonlight to save face for the fact that it's an Oreo re-release. It's "moonlighting" as something else.
Annnnddd, Nike knows this is a joke. And as stated in this video, what makes these shoes particularly special is that there isn't anything special. It's an "unremarkably" good colorway for an "unremarkably" good shoe. Middle of the road.

I usually have a problem with Jordan's, they fit really snug to the point where I have to undo my laces in the middle so that my foot doesn't get tired and sore after a few hours of use.
