i think we're going to look back in 5 years at how awesome 2023 was for sneakers. lots of good releases and many for retail

These don’t need hype. Reimagined DMP is 10/10. Leather will last longer. Funny how people passed on this or wanted for under retail 😂 😂 I doubled up on these. Love that Buckets gave it 9.5.

I actually copped my first pair for under retail. But then I was a clown and bought a second pair from Champs on release day. There’s a nice special feeling to getting them at 9am on release day, being just 4th in line 😊
These "Gratitudes" are crazy clean! It was definitely a no brainer doubling up. That tumbled leather upper is BUDDUUHHH!! 🔥🔥

An 11 is a special occassion type of shoe, not an everyday driver. Buckets giving a higher score shocked me lol. He's right though, definitely a 9.5

Said that some where when I first saw em. The leather just makes it that much better.. I take the leather over the hangtag .
i’m 45yrs old, and this is the first AJXI that I can comfortably wear all day.
The Cool Grey was a great runner up, but.. this was so pleasing to learn after having them on the last two weeks.
These are are definitely distinguished! Better in hand and I didn’t think that was gonna be the case. Not an everyday wear, but pull them out for special occasions, family events and nights out with the guys.

Personally big fan of these , 11s & 12s my favorite all time silhouettes so any super clean colorway on those models is a must cop , these Gratitudes very much included. Personally i like the OG DMP XIs slightly better but these are close enough and had to grab them. Plus holiday XIs def one of the sneaker events of the year and they often hit different when its a super clean colorway like these. I've had mine in hand a few weeks since the EA on them , wore them a few times already and liked them even more in person. I was able to cop for my younger bro's size on release day as well. Just super clean colorway on one of my favorite models , def one of my favorite Jordans of the year. XIs just have it all for me - classiness , a statement sneaker and the nostalgia factor as well.
i love the 11's, if anything the reason why I don't wear them as much is just simply not wanting to mess them up I kinda wait til a nice occasion to pull them out rather than just a casual store run
Just got into sneakers this year and I don’t know where I’ve been all these years but anyway… I just picked up my pair and, being a female, just love the look of them and for some weird reason they make me feel as special as I did as a little girl when ever my mom bought me and my sisters little patent leather shoes except these are super comfy cuz they’re sneakers 😬 They get a 10/10 from me. Don’t know how much I will wear 11s but definitely love that silhouette for sure!
Surprisingly like these more than the OGs specifically because of the leather. When announced I thought it would be a fail but I’ve come around.
The fact that is the 1st time is a all white leather instead of the white nylon that is difficult to clean and keep it looking white over time made me get these pair. A lot easier to clean and keep them looking new over time is a win win for me I double up on these 🔥 they a 10

I agree I would go to a 1 or a 3 before I go to the 11s for similar reasons. I personally wouldn’t go to a 4 just because they’re not the most comfortable Jordan. I love 4s. They’re just not a choice I would jump to first. The Jordan 11 is definitely my favorite Jordan silhouette. That sneaker is just so pretty it’s hard to want to wear them all the time. It’s like you want to cherish them so much that you want to be selective wearing them. I usually always try to double up too on 11s and still feel that way. I would have to give these a 10/10 though. I respect the OG and still remember seeing them in person for the 1st time in middle school but that leather upper is PERFECT! The sneaker will last way longer! I think this stands alone from the others and how this sneaker is built it definitely deserves a perfect score. I love it!

Missed the concords so I had to grab these. I don’t wear the Jordan 11s that often. They are an occasional shoe for me as I’m always in some AJ1-6’s
I definitely won’t wear them as much as I used to but there’s just certain kicks I always need a fresh pair of…10/10 imo
Definitely copped, didn't double up because I might snag those Navy 3s.
By far, one of my favorites. Hella comfortable and true to size. Just love 'em!

I got mine on the shock drop last month. I went to JD sports in Brownsville yesterday around 4 they were on display so they should’ve had a few pairs
People don't have the money these days and they are discouraged due to the resellers buying up the stock.
These were my first W ever on SNKRS app during that shock drop last November. Love the 11’s

11s are one of my top 3 silhouettes. I agree they dont look bettwr w more wears. Especially the icy bottom ones. My favorite 11 is the pantone and i wear for special occasions.

Like these over the Concords. I'm nostalgic to the prefer the Concords, but I'm breaking away from conventional thinking. The leather upper turned this shoe into the perfect pair
I was too indecisive if I wanted them and ended up missing out, but no biggie! They are clean though and glad i got to see them in hand. Maybe will cop down the road.

Cool if ya don’t have the concords. Great part about them is if the sole ages yellow, it will compliment the gold hints nicely.

I have the concords but I accidentally got deep scratches on the whole front of the parent leather after taking a lazy step on cement stairs smh. Might sell them and cop these now

I think if you decided to rock sweats the 11’s elevate the look. So wearing a sweatsuit with 11’s makes the outfit that much better

11s go with anything, I've worn with jeans and a nice polo to a fancy steakhouse and they go good, the concords I meant, I didn't get these but there similar

Remarkably, these are sitting over here. From 36-45, every size is still available. Wasn't the case a couple of years ago with the OG Concord.

Agreed. J 11s aren't everyday wears. Kinda more for an occasion. But I would probably wear my 72-10 more if they were more comfortable.

I could tell that Buckets liked these from the beginning 😂! His voice wasn’t so raspy and pungent like usual! You could tell he was more relaxed like maybe he got some last night or he could just be experiencing that Christmas cheer 😂? Either way, I’m proud of Buckets giving these a 9.5! They’re a 9.25 for me 😂!

this is how snkr releases should be. if you want a pair, you can get a pair. not a fan of $230 for a pair of sneakers, but better than paying resale. i like these, didn't pick them up because I needed to pull back, but will get the down the line. not much hype and reselling at retail - all good to me.
Never had the DMP’s, never had the concords, now I damn near got both in 1, and super easy to copp, love the times we’re in. Personals for me and my girl 🔥

I think they are an instant classic to me, even though Jordan didn't ball in them, they took a classic shoe (Concords/DMP) and made them better!
I don’t agree with them being better than the concords, I think the ballistic mesh upper actually makes the patent pop more with its visual texture details to compliment the silky smoothness of the patent. And though he didn’t technically play in these it’s just a slightly remixed concord tbh. At first glance it’s basically the same shoe in general and vibe. Nothing captures MJ the man, the myth and the player more than the XI. Classy but visually striking. That’s Jordan, the GOAT.

The DMP 6 are paying commemoration to MJ’s first championship win; during that season he wore the infrared 6s (hence the name Defining Moment Package). Same for the DMP 11, the Bulls went 72-10 and would capture their 4th championship win. During that season MJ sported the Concord 11 (hence the name DMP 11)
I always wanted a pair of holiday 11s. Every year since the space jams dropped and could never get my hands on a pair. This is the first time I could actually cop and I’m glad I did, clean af
I would have liked to double-up, but; the price and the other releases coming before the end of the year kept me from going for it. I’m trying to get the Kobe Reverse Grinchs and Midnight Navy 3s to close out my 2023 sneakers.

I had the Concords when they first came out. I'd rather have these because I always dirty my shoes and the all leather makes it easier to keep clean. Top sneaker for me.
Wasnt feeling the milky soles but in hand im ok with them but nike did us dirty with the scuffed up and dented patent leather etc

Exactly 💯 My concords have about 4 wears still crispy AF! That being said I still doubled up. To preserve my OG Concords like the other smart brother's said 🤓 Now I have that Concord look and more durable materials. Rocking a pair ASAP

Buckets with a 9.5 over 9.1 is Krayzie 🤯 So like y'all I love these too and were still sitting in the afternoon of the drop. I do wear 11's are lot less now than I did 6-7 years ago but still love the silhouette 😎
Heard the patent leather on the gratitude 11s are so terrible that after one wear they crease very easily without much pressure being applied and various people are complaining about it.
I need some gold laces and black laces for this price point JB. Lol. That’s gratitude for you.
I think the leather on the top is gonna allow me to wear these more. Concords are my favorite, but I wear mine on special occasions. I spilled coke on the original concords when I was a kid. So, that doesnt help matters. Ha.

I recently reglued and un yellowed some concords from 2000 . I paid 150 for them and they look good as new. That’s my only reason for passing on these

Didn’t have the funds in 19 to get bred 11s, copped Jubilees, didn’t hit any raffles on cool grey, copped cherry 11s in Chicago from Nike store, & got a pair of gratitudes. Any holiday 11 drop, I’m doing my best to get it!

I never had Concords. I also never doubled up on any shoe. So, two firsts for me. Just a beautiful shoe. When Buckets goes 9.5, that truly is a hard earned high score. I remember Buckets rated the Georgetown 3s a 9.5 if I’m not mistaken. There are probably others but I remember the shock of that one.

I love these 11’s and can’t wait to get my pair in hand. I took a bunch of retail L’s, so I unfortunately had to go resale, but I feel like it will be worth it. I agree with buckets though, these are a 9.5, because they aren’t the perfect 10 that the Concords are.
