Even playing with an aggressive load out, the more patient I am the better I do. Letting opponents overextend and focusing on my cover is something that’s really clicked lately. This was a great video and I’m looking forward to the next one!
Came here from the reddit post and I have to say that this is by far one of the best ''PvP gameplay analysis'' videos out there. Explained very well and understandable. Good video material. Nice audio and in general just really enjoyable to watch. There is only one thing I would want, and that would be the PvP-Map breakdown video. Keep up the amazing work. You definitely deserved the like and sub from me. ;)
I have noticed recently when playing Destiny, especially in PVP, that the majority of players I come across have very strong shields and it would be great to learn what kind of weapons are best to penetrate them. I have noticed this as my shields are incredibly weak and was hoping you could make a video on how to make your shields stronger. A good example is how you only need to shoot the sniper rifle once for a kill but for me, it usually takes around 3 direct hits. I think this would definitely help more players :D
There are no snipers that will straight up kill you in one shot unless it's a headshot or a specific circumstance, the closest is a 2 shot body. The reason you're taking 3 shots to kill someone is because you're most likely using a rapid fire frame sniper, which shoots very fast, but takes 3 shots to kill. I'd recommend getting an adaptive or aggressive frame sniper like the beloved, sole survivor, or tatara's gaze.
This video was actually quite helpful! I play on pc and when I die it normally is because of my positioning, whether it be a bad push or not having proper cover. Though most times when I do make a bad push I realize it right as it's too late This video will surely help me be more aware in the future! (PS I'm here from the reddit post)
I hate those people, like how hard is it to walk around me!? Give been killed by being pushed back into lanes or not let out of lanes so many times lol
I know I’m a couple of years late...but I really enjoyed this breakdown. I’ll always keep in mind these 3 points now. Also these analysis videos are really good so I hope you do them more

Came here from the Playbook post, positioning, like game sense, is always something that can be improved and worked upon. The video was accessible to newer players and formatted in such a way with video evidence so that good players can pick out the fundamentals they may be getting sloppy on. Thanks for the video and content similar to this in the future would be fun to watch.
thanks much for posting this! D2 is the first fps game I've played, & the struggle to improve in pvp has been hard. these 3 simple steps have helped me improve in just the last couple of days, it changed how I look at each game going in. again, many thanks & I'm looking forward to further videos! 😊
It is SO important not to overextend. If you're going to full send a solo push, you do it for only a couple reasons. You're smashing the other team in Casual. You're pulling a hard flank/distraction. You have Super or Heavy, and you can kill the first person fast enough to move on to the next with no problems or escape. You have to EXPECT to die, because you are willingly running into the other team's line of sight, or at least you most likely are.
New to your channel, I’ve come a long way in crucible but I still have a ways to go, my problem is situational awareness, your videos have helped a great deal, ty
I think you should definitely go more in-depth with specifics and demonstration. This is something people don't touch on and you got a great voice great job my friend
Your advice on PvP has been very helpful..especially for a casual player like me just improved my sucky below .5 rate to .8 just following your 2 sec. rule advice...working on getting better on positioning now :D - TYTY!!!
You make an excellent point about good players breaking those rules, but I’d like to add that an important factor when breaking those rules is ‘predictability’. Good players know what the theoretical best or safe option is allowing to predict what you’re gonna do, so sometimes breaking the rules for the sake of not being obvious is a good play.
This video just got you a new subscriber. I always try to make sure I try to apply these basic principles, the problem I have is sometimes I get a bit too aggressive and land myself in hot water.
I'm going to share this with all of my nooby friends who tend to overextend and be too aggressive without knowing what's around the corner waiting for them lol. This video is a 10/10 from me, very well detailed and you give the exact tips that I took into consideration when I realized I was horrible at pvp. Now I'm a much better guardian in the crucible thanks man :)

I do wish there had been more breakdowns. I could provide a ton of footage of bad positioning and some semi good ones. Also, breaking down a position in an objective based game type like Control. Pretty much the video could've ended at the 9 minute mark, though of course I understand having to give the shout out to the sponsor.
I would like a map breakdown or maybe a link to some map info. I remember playing halo reach and using their app to learn where most kills generally happen on their maps. This helped immensely with me gaining battle awareness in that game. *edit* Shucks I didn't realize how old this video is. I'll make sure to find your video on maps. New subscriber and I thank you for the helpful tips.
Great video & analysis, though I would have liked to have seen more examples of good play vs bad play, with perhaps a breakdown on where/why would have been a better position to take up. Why position A is better than position B whilst in a private match would be a good way of doing this and if you do the map guide that would be useful!

Great video. But you forgot to mention communication. I am a pretty good player and I do make mistakes while playing Crucible. Plus I like to go into the action and try not to hide. But if I need to hide from danger I will seek cover and start shooting. I will take this video and learn from it. Also I have been playing video games since I was a kid and I would spend hours and days just to get something from that game. Even if I have to grind for a certain weapon or armor, leveling up my character. Thank you for showing us your video and keep up the great work bro.
Ascendant Nomad and community I have a question, What environment would you say is the best environment for someone to Improve upon there skills in PVP well at the same time not having to worry as much about getting Curb Stomped by stacked teams every match, this way i actually have a chance to practice?? I hear some people say Rumble well other people say Elimination, I even hear some people say Freelance Comp because of the Skill Based Match Making system that is in place... What do people suggest where should i practice??
This is freaking awesome! I learned so much and will work to incorporate this into my gameplay. This video got me to subscribe and turn on notifications. Keep up the great work. Fantastic content! I would love it if you made the more in depth content you referred to in the video.
I break these positioning rules a LOT as an aggressive player, especially for shotgunning. Without the mechanical skill/aim to land my shots as I should, My KD is pretty low. But once I'm landing what I should be, it'll rarely go below the 3-4 range.
