Today's wow classic video jumps into BRD and specifically farming for savage gladiator chain (SGC) and hand of justice (HOJ). Hunters, Mages, Locks, Druids, Priests and Shamans can also solo this gold farm and be able to sell SGC + HOJ runs. By selling these runs they can net 160+ gold per hour! This is going to be an incredible gold farm for some classes that may have been lacking before.
All classes and kill strategies use the ledge tactic in BRD to jump back and forth infinitely kiting the mobs and taking them out with dots/direct damage. There's specific strategies for defeating Angerforge, but Gorosh is just an easy jump back and forth. Hopefully this helps you improve your gold farming and make some quick gold before phase 5!
After Phase 5, HOJ will be moved to Emperor, so this is going to be a gold farm that a lot of people may want to do before then so they don't have to do full instance clears of BRD to farm HOJ.

Doesn't seem quite worth it for mage. I'm making 10g per reset for sm cath/armory. With loot coin it's about 205-210g per hour and seems much easier than this.
This does not work for gnome unless u use size potions. Rehret making a gnome mage

The chance for gorosh to spawn is slightly lower than the other arena bosses at 1/11. The other five bosses are 2/11. That combined with about a 7% drop rate the chance of getting SGC in a given instance is about 0.7%. On average you will get SGC after about 10 gorosh kills, 100-120ish arena runs. However, you can be extremely unlucky like me and not get SGC after 55 gorosh kills and probably 600+ arena runs. Or you can be lucky like a guild member of mine who got both HOJ and SGC by level 52.
Hahaha dang I'm jealous of your guildy. Ya i've done 49 runs without seeing Gorosh once. The math I used for calculating Gorosh at the end of the video was a .698% chance so right in line with 7% :)
Just a heads up. Talking from experience.
Ive sold both SGC and HOJ runs, multiple months ago.
Charged 500g for hoj and 1k for SGC.
Sgc ive gone 60 runs in a row nonstop, no SGC...
Hoj the longest ive gone is 12 hours straight. Stopped after the 2nd time it happend.
IF you do not charge atleast either 20g/run or a set price pr run + a price on the drop. Its really not worth it.
As a hunter i can recommend DMT.
As a warlock i can recommend DME as a miner.
As a mage i can recommend DME lahsers+satyrs+the first satyr boss(if you have a buyer for any of the items) or boosting(but i dont personally like boosting, i much prefer solo farms)
Just my take on it.
on another note; As female undead, the ledges are a pain and feels like rng. Ive done thousands of jumps so talking from experience.

@@pandaswithchairs7645 well the slow isnt required as he can just jump from wall to wall and keep Them at Max distance.
With proper mana portion usage it Might actually work, maybe not the entire GY in one pull but 1/3rd could be do able, just slower then as a mage ofc as you would relie on dotting everything

No need for a SM/DS spec, you can do just fine if not better with a DS/Ruin raiding spec since you can nuke him faster down and loot before adds come. It's also possible with a hunter but can be a pain in the ass if you pull extra adds midway or get a FD resist. The warlock is the obvious choice because they're pretty much immortal even if you somehow pull 2 extra packs. If you want to switch it up a bit you can also do coffer runs solo for selling arcanums.
Loved that you pulled both groups of bats at the same time. But why are you not using siphon life aswell? CoA + SL and you can lifetab all day. Used to do this with dogs+1st guard DM:N.
i selling HoJ carry run as a hunter for a month.
its decent gold farm. i charge 5g per run + 50g when HoJ drop.
the worst drop on HoJ is arround 4-5 hours.
but still, that was better than tribute run since i dont need any cosumables and so easy

Looks a bit too random for if you even get the gold. esp since you could master loot it to him and have them not even pay. Interesting tho. Are you aware of the spot from this video allowing you to face tank anger without the adds he spawns being able to get to you? @@PsychedellicaMitch The saviate delights might change your model, but it does nothing for your jumps / swimming etc, you need something that makes your gnome form bigger
I know its weird but deviate delights and giant growth elixir worked, but only both at the same time and not one or the other.. Rather annoying, and costly
Everytime I pull the mobs after I kill them the boss doesn’t appear and I have to reset I don’t understand what’s going wrong
If you have any big ideas for warriors, I'm all ears. (For the curious, Gorosh solo as a warrior has been done elsewhere on YT, however it involves a lot of time and a lot of consumables per run.)
The best thing I could find on my own was farming Greater Nature Protection Potion's recipe out in WPL, as it only drops in a relatively cramped cave with some mobs that can be annoying for casters (shoutouts to oozelings). That said, it's hardly exclusive to any given class, and I think the price of the recipe isn't that great anymore, so...
hey, love the videos, ive looked through your channel and love the videos on solo leveling by clearing ZF etc but i couldn't find a video that outlines how to go from 1-60, like what spots/instances to farm as a solo mage. keep up the great content

Hey bro, first of all, I like your videos and you are making a good job with these. But to be honest SGC farm... is by my opinion crazy, because the drop is just imposible. The reason is that the chance of it dropped is I think even lower than you have stated and yes i know about those pages which shows that probability. But I myself went into BRD arena more than 500 times, just for it to dropped. I have seen the Gorosh 51 times (so i guess the 10% chance of him spawning is correct).
you know - the % still can be true. its all about luck / chances. even if you needed 500 times, someone else might have it after 5 trys... thats how about probability calculations works.

Where are you seeing 400g for HoJ? Most places I've heard are 50-100g.
Mobs dispawn so quickly its almost imposible even with good gear!
Is it possible to group with your alt, clean the boss with your main, disconnect your main and connect your alt, loot with your alt? Or instance will reset if you disconnect your main?
Not sure I understand the question but your alt needs to be present when boss is killed to get credit. So this would only work if it’s dual boxed and logged in.

i ended up popping one just to try (the growth pots are 3g each my server) and couldn't get up on the ledge to save my life.. going to attempt to do it without the ledge
mystiq r2 use savory deviate delights, cheaper plus it makes you a human model

I ended up just doing arena runs for my alt. It's easily solo able without the ledge by using the top floor as a buffer
so yeah deviate delights dont work on a gnome either, you gottaa use deviate delight and elixir of growth

you will need elixir of giant growth and minor run speed to boots to make this jump consistently as a gnome

Hahaha you can! It's much easier as a troll undead or human. Gnome does require giant growth elixirs.
If you’re having trouble jump sooner to allow for additional attempts. It doesn’t make a big difference in kill time.
This puts me in trouble when Ok'thor appears as the arena boss
It hits me tons with arcane missiles which makes it impossible for even my shadow priest or mage to solo him down using ledge
It’s very difficult to solo him yes, but you can pull it off and also have the person you’re getting the item for help you!
So weird, I just watched this video of a mage soloing angerforge and then your video pops up haha
I feel like this could also be used to level as a mage in the first area before arena? Aggro the mobs in the room and use the ledge to blizzard them (like ZF gy ledge)
It could but wouldn't be efficient. Would take a long time and a lot of mana for leveling.
Better off doing a Gorshak farm or dungeon grind.

Get 2 dedicated friends/guildies. Ask them to roll new Prot warr and mage/hunter. You spec heals. Quest efficiently(Google the routes). Grind/farm dungeons. This probably isn't the fastest but at the end, you got a tank and DPS friends/guildies to grind prebis and ready up for raids. Good luck!

@@arlaeus9491 i put my alt on the same room where you kill boss them i logout kill boss on my mage and pass and all loot but when i login on my warrior i can loot the boss

Had I had buyers those runs since they didn’t drop would have been a total of 24g. 6g * 2 per run since there was no gorosh spawn or SGC/HOJ drop

I recently used this strategy to get my warrior sgc on the same account. you just have to kill gorosh in the same spot with the warrior using mostly your bow/small trades with bandages in between

I have not met someone who sells both in one run, and that nearly any ranged class can do it. My goal was to show people how to do both within 15 minutes. I’m sorry that you feel that way.
