Every time someone says it's stupid to buy books just because they're pretty, i'm going to go out of my way to buy a book i'll never read just for the cover. Sorry that my happiness and money (Well spent) causes you such agony. Let me just rub some salt into that whilst I get another B&N book for my collection 💁

Every time I go to B&N I've managed to avoid looking at these books because if I get one, they will all eventually make their way into my house. they're so pretty, maybe just one?
I'M SO JEALOUS OF THE NARNIA ONE. It's one of my favourite series ever and I want it so bad but I can't find it for less than 200€ -.-
Go to Barnes and noble.com, you can buy it on there for around $20, or go to the store.
Unfortunately, not everyone lives in the US and can just go to a store :)
+penguininabluebox and unfortunately they don't sell them in the store anymore and only their marketplace people sell them which are still priced at like $100-200. Although Amazon has some decent prices on the book. Maybe try them?
Try ebay. I just bought one for like $60 yesterday. It's still a little pricey than what it originally cost but worth it. I tell myself I'm paying like $10 per book so it's okay. Lol

Those books are all so gorgeous. I watched Jurassic World last week and I really enjoyed it (it has Chris Pratt and dinosaurs, how can you not love it)
I love seeing the covers but how about the inside where we’ll actually be reading?

It's such a beautiful collection, isn't it? The Oz series is out (or due to come out) shortly.
The whole set will make such a beautiful shelf display.
Canterbury Classics also has a very nice leatherbound set, but I prefer the Barnes and Noble set.
So jealous of the Narnia book! They just released a beautiful Wizard of Oz edition I need to get for my collection

Hi, I know this is super late to post but I just thought I'd mention it, just in case... The B&N range is available through Booktopia for standard shipping $6.95 and I think the prices are quite comparable - Grimms Complete Fairy Tales is $50 (when I just checked - 27 Nov 2015)
These books are crazy beautiful.
I would love to get Plato's works and other nonfic in leather bound. I think they also do mini's for the hecking US Constitution, Art of War, etc. Might get the illustrated Bible for children, because there's no way I'm getting through the King James version as an atheist.
Those classics are sooo pretty but oh so expencive..! At least here in Norway..! 😕

The point is to read the books..like them for what they are on the inside and not because they look "pretty". But oh well it's your money so you can do whatever the hell you want with it.

Tell you something, I guess i share with you the same love for Barnes and noble collection, English is not even my first language, and I don’t think i’m gonna read all of ‘em , but god they’re gorgeous 😭

Easton Press = the tasteless man's Folio Society
Easton Press = poor mans Franklin Library
Dean Treloar Franklin library .. I own a few. Easton press kills them in quality. Easton press still in business. Franklin library not.

The chronicles of Narnia one is nice, that one I do have. My other leatherbounds are by another publisher. I avoid supporting B&N. They are a scumbag company.

They are not real leather by the way but faux leather, fake....i.e. plastic.

I fail to understand why anyone would spend so much money to buy these books, when u can get them practically free of cost and read on a kindle...i read a lot but i am indian and i really believe in being practical....

***** probably it's just the wiring in my brain...but I have absolutely no issue in delving into ebooks and enjoy reading....once I start reading or studying I am in a different world, free from aesthetics and elegance........I have no use for a library.....
Avishek Mazumdar I try to read on my kindle but I just can't I can't see how thick the book is. I can't smell the book. I can't feel the weight of the book in my hands. And I have to be careful when I put it in my backpack with my text books and binders and note books and every thing else. So yah that is why I can't read on a kindle
