Your point on Bobby is taken but Rao's has changed from when the Pellegrino family first put it out, to selling part of it, to it now being wholly owned by Campbell's. The biggest change was years ago dumping the San Marzano tomatoes. The Rao's today is not terrible but it is nothing like the original.

Rao’s definitely changed their recipe along the way. I used to be able to eat their sauce no problem but last couple years my whole family noticed that our stomachs were in turmoil for several days after we ate Rao’s….that combined with the sale of company we longer buy this brand.

Many years ago I invested in a “commercial grade” hand immersion blender when my regular one died. At the time we had a local wine/food/some kitchen equipment store that had and recommended it. It handles ice etc. such a great investment and space saver (I do also have a food processor)
