Magic Duels 2015 - เกม
Thanks so much for watching guys. To clarify, but I am not complaining about having to read the article. It was a pleasure. Was just for the sake of saying 'hey, I read it so you don't have to' and a bit of a joke. I can understand how it could be taken otherwise. But if you count the words in this video, you'll see it's far more. So not only did I read the article, I wrote more, and then read it out again while recording ;)
I find it kinda funny you actually have to clarify this. Didn't expect this to be a topic of discussion in the comments
So they nixed blood magic. So Solas can live in your head. That also means Solas must be handling crafting and enchantment.
So the skull tree looks hella interesting and cool. Combat sounds more like Dragons Dogma which I personally don’t mind anymore and could be really fun BUT I didn’t understood the gear part about companions well. I absolutely hated the gearing system for DragonAge2 it felt totally boring. And since the focus of this game seems so much on companions there should be a gear system where you can customise at least via gear your companions better. (If not I REALLY hope they will offer mod support this time cause otherwise even the game might be cool I won’t buy - at least not for full price. I didn’t wait 10 years for a dragon age game which not only completely got rid of the tactical cam and more active abilities but also potentially got rid off open and flexible gear customisation - if)
I’d like to ask, can necromancers (death caller) now re-animate the dead?? Or at least have one skeleton you can have with you like emmrich. This have been bugging me since the trailer.
@@klavicus2276no this is bad why the hell we losing 6-8 slots for skills to use and get 3 hell no this is not mass effect this is dragon age the game i loved before mass effect
man, i forgot how gameinformer magazines would randomly have just a butt load of information on a game every now and then.
Yeah same, but in this case the rest is mostly fluff or spoilers. I cut out the best bits.
I literally just got a magazine subscription for GI. Didn't know they were still around!
I miss getting the magazines in the mail
@@brotherbrothersgaming5451for reaaal
Be awesome if they release the character creator early like with Dragons Dogma 2. Being able to jump straight into the game day one with a finished character would be 🔥
I would actually love that.
More games need to do this
That would be amazing
I guess this is all more coping. The game looks horrific, so far removed from Origins.
I was literally thinking that yesterday, many of us will probably expend a lot of time in character creation, so releasing CC early like dragons dogma will be amazing
The Reaper spec should have a skill that lets you blow a horn really loudly
Is that a....reaver reference?
@@curlywhites Reapers from ME have this signature sound they make. Perhaps that's what they are referring to
Reminds me of the Warhorn skill in Inquisition
@@user-uu8jl2xd3x holy cow. Of course. That makes total sense. lol. I was so singularly focused on Dragon Age.
Spellblade subclass, hell yeah!!!!!!
Melee mages rejoice
I noticed that each subclass has a faction symbol next to them maybe that's the faction's typical subclass and you get a bonus if your faction alligns with it?
@@antonioscafuri756 don't think so, maybe it's just for immersion/lore purposes
Hell, yeah! Arcane Warriors are the best!
The legacy of the Arcane Warrior lives on!
"interacted with the ritual", "connecting them to the fade forever"
tbh, sounds like a reworked prologue of inquisition
Right. "Rook isn't special and has no MacGuffin, he just helps because he's competent." Proceeds to say his blood interacted with Solas' ancient ritual and now Rook's soul is connected to the fade for eternity which will more than likely give him special interactions with the veil itself. 😆
Haha, great observation. Perhaps Rook will save his/her own self rather than being saviour of the world (mentality wise lol)
@BboyEasySteps If you take the idea of competence further, it turns out that Rook cut himself, in a ritual he knows literally nothing about
The line between competence and idiocy is very blurry in this case
I hope i'm wrong and it's just a poor choice of words in this article 🤣🤣🤣
Sounds like Harry Potter
I actually prefer this I hate a know nothing getting thrown into this insane situation and just becomes great like no give me a real person that would be confused and bumbling. That's realistic @ondest5059
I hope that our Fade connection to Solas is used as a way to show Solas who we really are, so when he most likely breaks free at some point, how we choose to play and what decissions we make, as well as what sidequests we do, will decide if he continues to work against us, or us knowing the REAL Solas might persuade him to work with us instead. Not as a companion, but just to have him step aside and let us fight for our own future, with him accepting that his role in shaping the world is done...
Translation, I hope we get enough paragon points to convince him down rather than have a final boss fight. Hell yeah.
@@Dantics 100% correct! That's what i want from a Bioware game after all!
Yeah, I definitely see Solas as a kind of Saren character from the original Mass Effect, an antagonist who genuinely believes they are doing a good thing rather just a mindless horde creature or moustache-twirling villain.
Man this is sounding really good.
So it sounds like the detonation system (mass effect)mixed with original dao combo system, that's super cool!
They've borrowed a lot from Mass Effect
I think so too as I see the spells
@@Dantics yes very obvious they want to follow a mass effect 2 style game play though I hope that works out
This is more of a ME project in production with a DA reskin
There have been combos since DA:O ....
Make someone frozen and then can shatter them. It just took a bit more reading than the dumbed down 'use these together' button nowadays.
Their description was scrambled, but what they are saying is: Rook stepped up when he found out Solas was possibly going to fuck up the world. They were already gung-ho to stop the bullshit. They just happened to attain more power after they got sucked into the Fade with Solas. As some have pointed out, it is much like Inquisition (except in Inquisition, you were an amnesiac).
Hey man before Veilguard comes out you should show us or talk about your dragon age timeline, maybe using the keep or just talking about your experience as a refresher.
Excellent video by the way. You and Kala are my go too for DA news.
Hey man, maybe that's something I'll do before release! Thank you so much
@@Dantics Always happy to contribute to good content my man.
Did you say you only used 3 abilities in DA:I anyway ? ...what class did you play ? The bartender of Skyhold ? :)
I think that a decent amount of abilities will be rolled into the combat system. Like DAI made you slot ability for each of: dodge, block/parry, gap closer, and other things that seem to be already covered by base combat mechanics. The mages will probably get more spell like things as staff heavy attacks. Personally looking forward to this as the DAI implementation felt quite jank.
The artificer "Yo-yo" build leapshot/grapple-hook archer actually destroyed with just pressing 2 buttons. It was very OP without needing other skills.
Yes you did use mostly 3 abilities in DAI lol. Most of your damage came from autos and 3 damage centric skills. The rest was utility like parry's and blocks which are in base kit for everyone, and buffs which you could automate anyway with Masterworks. Like who used 8 skills all the time? Prob a guy that doesn't know how skills work lol.
Im liking everything except the fact we only able to use 3 skills
It doesn't make any sense why you're locked to three either, considering how big the skill tree is. People keep saying they're turning it into medieval fantasy Mass Effect, but even Mass Effect lets you use every ability you know at any time, it's just that any three can be hot keyed. I genuinely don't understand why they made this decision.
@@fadingghost9723 that’s exactly what I thought too, they made the skill tree so big but for some reason you stuck with 3 skills 🙄 if we are not going to be able to use our companions at least give us more skill slots other wise gameplay will be very repetitive
@@nozelxo6514 depending on how varied basic attack strings are, warrior and rogue MIGHT be able to keep gameplay interesting, but mage? Mage is getting shafted hard by this change.
@@fadingghost9723nah, the warrior and rogue get shafted by this stupid limitation too
@@Jinkypigs yes but they aren't as reliant on having a wide selection of skills as mages are(archery focused rogues are definitely in the same boat though). It's going to suck for everyone, that much is obvious.
I’m honestly a bit happy this isn’t open world. I love open worlds as much as the next person, but having more focused and direct maps sounds like a welcome change from an industry that has been going bigger, more open, and, in many cases, emptier than ever. The combat also sounds “as tactical” as you want it, and I appreciate the choice to either turn off brain and swing pointy stick until enemy fall or lean forward in my gaming chair and call plays like Phil Jackson on a threepeat. The more I learn, the more I’m looking forward to this. That said, their marketing team needs a stern admonishing. They gave us a character montage trailer when they had this kind of info loaded up and a ready to fire. It’s almost like the devs know what gamers want and the boardroom is clueless. Who’d’ve thunk?
I mean, the Devs DID still made all the characters fugly and gave the game a more cartoony aesthetic than previous titles, BUT I'm glad to see the gameplay at least looks promising.
@@CosmicG777 aesthetics are a bit more subjective than raw gameplay, I’d say. I think the characters are fine. They remind me of the show Arcane, which I thought had an amazing art style.
@@eriiicj.1558 It's true that they are subjective but I've heard a lot of complaints on it. And comparing it to Arcane seems appropriate because I've heard some comparing it to League of Legends and even Fortnite. Personally, I think the girl companions all look very unattractive, but it's just my opinion though....there's really no need to go spreading it around.
@@CosmicG777 your taste is your taste. I don’t really care for that type of aesthetic one way or another in games. I’m more of a form over function kinda person. I plan to take the companions most synergistic to my build in my first run. After that I’ll probably go with them in the order in which they interest me in subsequent runs.
@@CosmicG777I think all companions shown so far look better than the ones in inquisition.
I still wish we could actually control our companions in battle. And that we only get to "equip" three skills is a bummer too. But the skill trees look nice, I hope this allows for more varied builds. And more customization in the character creator is always nice.
Fair. Common feedback people have.
Looks from reading the article like it'll be 5 spells for companions (3 active/2 pass) and 4 spells for us (3/1 finisher), which feels a little better
@@Anthony-pq4vr I dunno man. I remember having like 20+ spells on my hotbar as a mage in Dragon Age: Origins. It seriously feels like they're just doubling down on dumbing down these games as much as possible. The game is basically just mass effect with swords now.
The hope is that by pressing down on the d-pad to switch weapon loadouts you will get access to 3 other skills/spells. So hopefully 6 skills/spells and 1 finisher, but I'm unsure.
@@BlackPantherEclipse if this is true BioWare need to make a video where they say this ASAP. I also read you could switch loadouts mid combat but I don’t think it was confirmed. That would mean your 2nd load out switches out your spells to a different spec? If so, that is a literal game changer cuz it would mean 6 spells /1 finisher which is a lot better
Bellara just seems like an elf version of Peebee from Andromeda to me.
Oh please no no no no I hope not.
Like I said to someone else this was probably a ME project in production that was scrapped dragon age doesn't have factions and ME pushed for factions adding elf ears to those characters isnt a stretch at all
@@Danticswhy does everyone hate peebee? She had a decent character arc for the crap show that was Andromeda.
Bioware has been reusing the same character archetypes for the last 20 years, flanderising them more and more with each installment
I also fear that she will be the Peebee/Sera of this game, which, if it ends up being the case, will be awful
Thank you so much for that summary. Great video!
That's pretty sad for me that we won't be able to play as our companions cause for me it's a huge part of my love for DA, also after the massive success of Baldur's Gate makes me wonder why would they change it cause it shows there's an audience for that.. also the companions use the traditional classes that us the players can play aswell so why would we not be able to switch into them..?
The thing that guarantees Solas is alive is the fact that he is an Elven god. There has been no evidence of any gods getting killed in Dragon Age. They have been captured, jailed, switched bodies, and moved back into the Veil (I think that's what happened with Flemeth).
The elven gods are not gods though. They are ancient, Immortal elves who used to live in a world were Thedas and The Fade were interwoven. They became very powerful and connected with the fade. Overtime their status became so great that they became God like. Then The Dreadwolf, seeing their rise to power as a bad thing, put up a Viel between The Fade and Thedas, trapping the Elven "Gods" inside The Fade. This lead to the elven immortality being slowly reduced. With the Tragedy of being closed off from The Fade the elves began to become weaker.
The Human run Tventir Imperium eventually destroyed the home of the Elves and the elves descended into a dark time of slavery at the hands of the Imperium.
Eventually when Andraste and her followers fought a rebellion against Tventir at the end of the first blight, the elves were given freedom. These elves were given The Dales, and there they built a society who having forgotten who the Elven "Gods" really were, began worshipping them as their "Gods".
This of course did not go over well and they eventually lost their lands once more to The Chantry.
Now The Dreadwolf has returned and has decided to tear down The Veil he put up. And of course the other Elven "Gods" are not happy with him.
@@matt-the-slayer8828 just because some one did not start as a god does not mean they are not gods. Also, what defines a god? Ascension? Birth? Power?
That is a whole other philosophical track. My assertion remains the same. There is no evidence that the people we call Elven gods have ever been killed. As a matter of fact, you bolstered my assertion by saying that the connection to the Fade gave them immortality. Even if Solas had been weakened, tearing open the Veil would have re-suffused him with that power.
@@cmike123 I am not disagreeing on the part of them being powerful.
But we have seen gods defeated. The old gods, corrupted and turned into Archdemons, get defeated if they enter a Grey Wardens body.
@@matt-the-slayer8828 but here is the catch. You are relying on the Grey Warden's explanations when they have been proven multiple times to be unreliable narrators. Look at what they actually show you:
1. Once tainted with darkspawn blood, these entities can control/call any being that also has the blood
2. Their soul does not die when they get killed, but moves to another host
3. Morrigan was able to use her baby's soul to possibly purify the taint
Assuming that both entities die for good when an archdemon enters a Warden's body is just illogical. It's based upon the Blight losing it's leader. It is more likely that Warden's soul either fully or partially cleanses the taint from the god's soul, then the body dies. The Warden's soul would die with the body, but the elven soul would likely just pass to another host or back into the Fade.
This is probably the source of the more helpful entities in the Fade.
I am also curious; if an elven Warden killed the archdemon, would the Warden's body die like the human ones?
The more I accidently stumble upon Dragon Age Veilguard informations the more I wonder what they thought with presenting their Gameplay and the cinematic trailer. This seems very promising.
what was wrong with either trailer? The cinematic was once again told through the perspective from Varric, which if you have played the past 2 games, fits right in. The gameplay trailer was absolute fire and has been praised from almost everyone...I personally love all these "we were SO wrong about hating on Dragon Age" videos!!
There was nothing wrong with the trailers. People hopped on the negativity train, and others just followed right along. They did not show enough to form a coherent opinion.
@@collegebro85 Have you seen that dislike ratio on the gameplay reveal? and the comments. Personally I was stunned that it would get such a negative reaction.
I was okey with the trailer, but it I wasnt hyped with it.
The cinematic trailer felt like the trailer of a moba-game and overall didnt capture Dragon Age Vibes for me.
With what we know and have seen Veilguard won't be the game of the year, but certainly a game one can enjoy. I figure everyone is expecting master class from Bioware and I understand why.
Bioware used to be King of Roleplaying Games and there was a certain drop of quality in recent years (Andromeda/Anthem).
From what I have seen Veilguard it is certainly a step in the right direction and needs to be supported.
Playing as a mage is going to suck with only 3 abilities
Thank you! super informative!
I hope they reintroduce the friend-rival system for companions (from DA2).
Oh that would be cool. Haven't seen anything like that yet though
Elfroot.
You're welcome for your nightmares this evening.
Being able to only use 3 abilities is kinda ass ngl
Three abilities for the companions.
Again weapon swapping changes ability loadouts so you could get more.
I understand people disliked some of the open world parts in DA:I, I had issues with the way it was done myself. But personally I’d rather pay for a longer experience (100+ hr) that lets me spend more time in the world without having to start over. To me that feels far more fulfilling and worth the effort. Particularly if BioWare could put together a Witcher 3 level story into a dragon age game. I would play that until the end of time.
That's completely fair. I personally prefer restarting with different choices but I also wouldn't mind a big 100+ hour thing too.
Very Excited !!!!
Why are you the only one who actually spoke on the gameplay everyone just focused on the story spoilers
Because positivity doesn't draw in as much attention
@@LeonNitingale it’s sad this game has such a twisted public image
@oskyys6853 my main issue is these games have literally never been consistent each game has been drastically different. Dao character models look like melted plastic now da2 was much more "cartoony" the vg like it's pure nostalgia it's dragons dogma 2 all over again they get focused on shit before they've even played it. Sorry needed to vent thank you for responding have a wonderful day and please remember to stay hydrated
ofc more excited!! 🎉
Been watching your videos for a while and I'm bad at commenting. Glad you're excited for Veilguard!
Thank you very much Kala! What videos did you start with out of curiosity?
Very excited. Dragon Age and Mass Effect got me through hard times and they'll always have a special place in my heart.
Thanks for the summary. The game is looking good overall.
Biggest worry is being limited to just 3 abilities… seems like each game they limit us more and more. But we’ll have to wait and see more of the combat to get a real opinion.
PLAYERS are not limited to three abilities, only the companions.
@@ADarklore New info reveals that we actually ARE limited to 3 :(
I know they keep going down in number of ability slots from dao to dai, but 3?? damn, they really went hard on the hack n slash aspect. Can't wait for modders to do a better job than devs a few weeks after release.
A bit bummed you can’t control other players it’s a main reason why we RPG fans play - still looking forward to playing plus we’ve got Avowed which may be a little more hardcore RPG but we have a feast to look forward to
Mages bring options, it's what we do. 3 buttons is not enough for that.
They said weapon swapping will let you use different skills. Mages get access to Staffs, Wands and Daggers. So you will have options.
Ok its not only me. Everybody on reddit is discussing who they romance while would say they need a lot of character with that faces.
Of course they are, it’s Reddit. Game quality doesn’t matter as long as there’s the option to romance absolutely everything in the game.
I always thought it was far more likely that Varric dies in the first 5 minutes than Solas, even after the name change.
Advisor Solas! I called it!
Hi 5!
@@Dantics 👋👏
With the way the new demons are described means we could have more variety in both aesthetics and gameplay.
While the ones using pieces of wood and ruined stone from the wilds may look similar to the ones we've seen.
We very much could get some demon representation from them being within a battlefield to have a more grotesque body horror type aesthetic.
I think the new design has alot of potential despite the lack of continuity from the other games
Yes there is possibility for bigger meaner demons this way. You are correct.
I noticed the light strings thingy looked like the lyrium veins of titans, might be a coincidence but...
They seem to be doing some great damage control. For the most part, I'm eager to see what it's like. Still skeptical about this "companion synergy" though, given that you have zero control over them.
Seems weird for bioware to release this info of what happens to solas. Takes away the suspense
I want more on skills, backgrounds, and items
Hopefully there are biomes big enough to explore. I’m going to miss dragon age being open world.
Is anyone else waiting for a release date yet? That’s one thing I’m anxious to hear!
This! Just gimme a release date already! 🤪
Now i am thinking, looking at the skilltree, it seems we may be able to choose two specializations. In all DA games, specialization opened once we unlocked it but now it seems we just have to reach it by spending points.
Also, nice to see that there is more points distributed than what we could achieve through leveling with 1 level = 1 skillpoint.
I just wonder how will be maxed our characters different if there is 50 skillpoints from levelups + some extra skillpoints
Nice to have a good neutrak informed video all the othwr ones ive seen so far have just focused on the story and their discontent with it.
Yeah I am tired of all the negativity. I just want to cover the game.
@Dantics yeah appreciated don't get me wrong I have my concerns with aspects of the game but I'm still excited the combat system sounds better than what was first shown in the gameplay reveal.
@@Dantics and this automatically earned you my subscription! Keep up the good work!
@@im-not-even-real Thank you! Will not let you both down
Given that many of us like to, and was partially trained by DAI, to have someone of each class on hand at least 2 companions will likely be neglected thanks to the smaller party size. With making unlocking being tied to specific characters instead of class though, that might make it easier to not neglect them. It however will be somewhat agitating when we come across a lock we can't open because we don't have the right party member.
Am I the only one that feels like there might be 2 companions they haven't revealed yet? Possibly a shocking secret character like Legion in Mass Effect, or a returning character from A previous Dragon Age? There's no way they're going with only 7 companions right? They need 2 more to round out the 3 from each class. Especially considering you take 3 of them with you, we need more options.
The more info comes out, the more I'm looking forward to this...
If they're not talking through their butts
Butt they have sliders.
All of it sounds exciting.
Fantastic info here sir. Really excited for this
Well I'm hyped now🎉
Bell sounds like Peebee from Andromeda
How because the description they gave her sounds nothing like Peebee.
Thy really need to showcase this stuff instead of a couple screenshot with words. Because seeing mage ability with 60 second cooldown and companion ability with 48 second cooldown. How many spells can I have with me at 1 time? I don't want my Mage to be wielding daggers, I want them casting control/nuke spells in the back. But cooldown times like mass effect 1 would be terrible.
Bellara sounds exactly how they promoted Pebee from Mass Effect Andromeda.
I hate how they changed the designs for demons
Thanks Dantics. With your video I was able to put this together as a playing aid for me. I think my first play through will be Spellblade.
Faction Fighter Mage Rogue
Antivan Crows Spellblade Duelist
Grey Wardens Champion
Lords of Fortune Slayer Saboteur
Shadow Dragons Evoker
The Mourn Watch Reaper Death Caller
Veil Jumpers Veil Ranger

I fkn NEED this game. I just spent 800$ on a brand now 75 inch high Def television just for this game.
Damn that's awesome, hopefully it's out soon!
I find amusing that Neve's name is the portuguese word for "snow".
Looks better and better the more I hear about this game. If I do buy this game, I'll definitely get it on PC since mods can probably fix the visual aspects and camera angle or FOV.
Absolutely. PC all the way for me.
I don’t like the character designs or demon designs, I also still have concern on the writing, but the game informer info has made me more optimistic especially for the combat. DAO is still the best but I did enjoy DA2 and DAI (apart from the fetch quests).
I can’t wait to play this. I know it’s coming out in fall but give me the date lol 😂
Thanks for such a thorough rundown of everything in the Game Informer article. A great watch. Personally very excited for the game. Customisation sounds awesome & I like that it’s not going full blown open world because I have too many of those I need to go back to as is. 😂
Next thing I want to hear about is the cast. Based on the gameplay reveal I think Alex Jordan may be an option for Rook. Do wonder how many voice options are present when creating our character.
Thank you for all the positive feedback over this long awaited and somewhat dubiously heralded game! Now looking forward to the journey to Minrathos and the Lighthouse sounds amazing! Also pretty jazzed about the skill tree options..
Most of the mentioned features were in previous games but this one will feel more like Mass effect
Haha I hope fire wall isn't as trash as it was in inquisition
The best combo was fire and ice mines, literally 1taps enemies lol
8:50 OMFG!!! Some people are amazed and excited because of gameplays, some from stories, but I am freaking amazed abd excited from this kinda staff. I am sicked seeing same faced NPCs in BG3 lol. 8:58 I hope some modders could fix it like in BG3.
I was on the fence about buying the game. All I needed to tip me over was seeing there was gonna be a spell blade. I'm in baby.
I literally just finished watching another one of your DAV vids, and this was uploaded haha, thank you for keeping us updated! I know a lot of people have their hesitation about this game, due to its very different nature, but I’m looking forward to it! Probably since I’m more of a modern gamer unfortunately, since I am a teen, but I did enjoy origins and wished it had more newer systems. Thank you again!
You're so welcome! Thanks for coming. I'm glad they're making an entry point for everyone to enjoy. Not just old farts like me
Would love to know more about the "healing system" as a aperson who hated that Inquisition got rid of healing skills. Thanks for the info!
You get healing flasks that you can refill by smashing green barrels out in the world. Like God of War and similar titles. There are also possible healing spells in Sustain or Survival trees.
@@cmike123 Thanks for the reply!
They said Bellara has healing magic, I assume the other mage companions won't, but we don't know if mage Rook will have them or not
So there’s going to be a ton of different builds you can try - let’s hope the story is good (inc the different paths you can go) so it can be re playable
Bell sounds like Peebee from Andromeda
Biggest surprise is hearing game informer is still around
bookmarking combos is straight-forward. You start a multi-hit combo. If you feel the need to dash in the middle of it (the enemy you were fighting dies, or you need to move out of danger quickly), you can continue the combo after the dash. This is great because (based on the skill tree description) it sounds like you can add lots of things to combos. That means it is also likely there are big attacks at the end of combos. If you have a big attack you want to hit, it is great to be able to continue to it after a dash.
Looks like it going to fun running with a mage and warrior and myself as rogue elf/quarai
Darn I was hoping the Veil Jumpers would bring the Spirit Warrior specialization for the Warrior class.
Ah well. Maybe with perks and gear.
@@Dantics I hope even just a simple lorebook or mention like the Arcane Warrior in DAI
"rook is here because they choose to be, and that speaks to the character WE'VE built"
thats just the problem isnt it
That is true. Would like it to be a more blank slate to craft
I'm still annoyed by the lack of "no faction" choice. Some of the options may look more interesting after the first playthrough.
Yea it’s so lame I didn’t want to be a warden in origins ugghhh
@@alexandrefernandes1463where are you getting your information? We get to pick from 6 factions at the start.
So you have a problem with every other character they’ve built. Remember Shepard? Or Hawke? The inquisitor? The Warden? Each character was already established and then we flesh them out.
I'm curious if the reaper is a whole new class or did someone forget its actually reaver.
I just have 2 questions. 1. There's symbols on the specializations does that mean we can only get that if we pick the background or are we free to pick any. 2. Why did they change the name of the specializations like reaper instead of reaver.
I really don't have the answers to those yet, but when I do I'll mention it
I don't know the reason for the name change or the symbols but I did hear that you can start off with your specializations but that might be out of date information so take it with a grain of salt.
Man’s interacting with EVERY COMMENT
I try! Get's a little hard after a while
So we got bucnh of skills abilities but only 3 slot? I am sure it will major troubles in public opinion!
As much as it is to be we live in times where we going in to dumb and dumber future where games go the rout of shrinkflation. At this rate next title will have 1 skill or will auto play. This is already happening with some old ips. Sad part is you cant do much about it as new player prefer dumb games.
After seeing the skill tree and how deep it looks to be I’m way more convinced. I’m so ready for this, 10 years of waiting for a new Dragon Age better pay off!
I want Emmerich however I do have a weakness for antivan crows :)
Looking forward to seeing mage and warrior gameplay before launch.
I'll have to see how Spellbladeand Deathcaller skills are.
Going Elf Mournwatch. Maybe Fortune if I like the description enough (FOR TAASH)
And they still decided to made demons from plastic lol
Yeah I don't understand the choice
After seeing the first trailer my expectations were very low, but the more I see and hear of Veilguard the more optimistic I become.
So my theory is that Rook and Solas get connected because of openings now you guys got guard against elves gods
Should I start as a Male Elven Champion or Spell Blade, a Female Dwarven Saboteur or Veil Ranger, a Female Human Evoker or Death Caller and a Male Qunari Reaper or Slayer?
Wonder if they will add the bard class later in a dlc or update that was my favorite class in multiplayer
Guess Hawke is still the only one thats him(or her) just purely off of being him(or her). No magic blood, no magic anchor, no magic ritual with blood. Just pure sarcasm.
That's not true either. Flemeth saves them from the darkspawn. Also there's the thing with Corypheus. Malcolm sealed him with blood magic. Only Hawke's blood can free him.
Sounds better, but I want to see gameplay. Really hoping they have not taken away my mage combat from DA:2 and DA:i, but I think they have, no ones seems to be using staves, just scepters.
You can be sure about it. Focus is on monkeying.
Thanks for the info. Question: Is this game only for controller or will there be Mouse/Keyboard option? Peace
Every dragon age game can be played with mouse and keyboard or controller. As to which feels better? That's a matter of preference.
Absolutely is mouse and keyboard. One of the devs prefer mouse and keyboard.
@@KonigKaiser4 Yeah it seems both are completely viable considering the action nature of it
@@Dantics Thank you
I am still cautiously excited and won't complain until i play it through, but I'll say it feels like a bit of a copout to make the Evanuris the main antagonists instead of Solas. It would be much more deliciously complicated if Solas was sympsthetic yet also the villain. But we'll see, everything else has made me even more excited!
Any word on gearing your party or just you
This skill tree looks ridiculously complicated
I'm looking forward to it, but having been burned by Andromeda (which I enjoyed, but wasn't what they promised) will not be pre-ordering.
I am kinda hoping it's just three easily accessed abilities and you can flip between hotbars akin to an MMO, or at least have a wheel you can open up to change pre readied ability setups or something of the sort. That would make things at least more achieveable to the tactical side of things and lesson the strain on mages for sure.
This was at least more interesting that the Gameplay reveal
This video has me very excited. Not pre order excited (Cyberpunk and Anthem stopped all pre orders, ever for me) but I am very much looking forward to playing as "Rook" even though I hate the name as it reminds me of the protag in Far Cry 5.
I wonder why specializations have faction logos by them.
More exited.
The skill tree looks decent honestly i just hope its a they are actual "upgrades" and not just to fill space
what is with the logos near the specialization, looks like faction logos? do we have bonuses if we have a certain faction chosen?
