17:51 Have they confirmed that there will be no non-companion romances equivalent to Cullen and Josie? I’m still holding out hope for Maevaris Tilani and some more body diverse characters.
First playthrough : Romancing Lucanis with a Spell Blade Mage from the Antivan Crows. The mage killer with a mage from the same faction, what could go wrong ? 😅
Tbf being an assassing specialized in killing mages doesn't make you a mage hater inherently, I know he has a comic so idk if I'm missing relevant background on that front.
Laughing so hard at those comments you posted and laughing at myself as well! The instance I heard „sensitive gentlemen“ and „necromancer“ in one sentence describing Emmrich in other video I screamed „sold!“. Now, I always play a mage, and with a game limiting my choice to only three companions this sounds…problematic. Gonna be playing the least balanced team in the world 🫡
I have thoroughly enjoyed Arcane warrior in DA origins and Knight errant in DA Inquisition. I also liked the Warrior with Spirit Warrior specialisation. I will like to try Human Shadow dragon Spell blade mage in Veilguard. My companion choice will be Varric and Taash the Dragon Hunter
If you choose a rogue class and are still a “mage” and that explains why Rook can cast lightning damage with his daggers, this is gonna suck. It means that there will be no special dialogue options for being a mage, which as we all know, is something pretty fucking special in DA in terms of how society views you.
Like I mentioned, my first playthrough (there will be many) is gonna be a mage with the Antivan Crows. I'm thinking I'll use the Spellblade Specialization. I genuinely hope that the game doesn't force you to only use a few of your companions. I actually like being able to complete everyone's personal quests in one playthrough. I'm sure there will be major story decisions that will affect everyone's opinion, even if they're not with you. In addition, the last game had the judgments, which also affected everyone's opinion.
Complaining about one fewer male to romance when there's an odd number of companions is kinda silly especially when DAI was even more imbalanced in the reverse. Luca and Davrin are both handsome and I'm kinda happy old guys are getting some love with Emmerich.
I'm a straight male so I can't help you here but it does seem as though there opinion is valid as well. I know mine is, in that choices have been less and less my taste moving from Origins to 2 to inquisition to this.
Warrior specs were not weapon dependend. U could and prob still be able play any with two hand or single and shield. In orgin u could also dual wielding with any spec.
@@Kross415 Y i know, it was more about u can play two hand champion or shield based warrior reaper most likely cos weapon perks are other part of sill tree then specialization.
I have 3/6 fully planned rooks 1. A dwarf (saboteur) antivan crow (or Lord of fortune) with Davrin and Emmrich in my party Romancing Davrin or Lucanis 2. Elven Death caller or Reaper, mortalitasi, with Taash or Lucanis and Harding or Bellara Romancing Emmrich 3. Human Warden, Champion, with Lucanis and Neve Romancing Harding
Which are they? Closest for me is Lucanis, he looks suave and cunning. Maybe Emmrich but getting busy with a skeleton is very off putting, hope that is optional 💀 Darvin has a sexy voice, hot voice actor but on the fence of character design in terms of attractiveness 🤔
@@HyouVizer Emmrich, Lucanis and Harding. (I wasn't initially gonna run after the necromancer- but the idea of the HoF berating both Rook and the Inquisitor of running after old men- has not stopped being funny.) And yeah, I'm with you on Davrin- his ears are just so... big.
@@ruarikelsey1793 For you. Having 2 Taash, 2 Bella, and 2 Neve satisfies my OCD. And knowing its not Larian, I won't cheated by having a shit ending for my muscle mommy...
My go to is always Necromancy where available thus Mournwatch Death Caller, so probably Davrin or Lucanis and Ballera. Much as I am interested in the Emmerich stuff, he's gonna be 2nd playthrough with my Champion run. I hope doing such a polar opposite of Grey Warden romancing Emmerich will provide fun dialogue, definitely gonna do Harding as my 3rd there.
@@Dantics Yea, normally I do that too, but I gotta try necro first. Still doing the DA trinity tho at least. Plus I feel like having Ballera for first playthrough will hopefully lead into finding fun stuff from her skill.
I have 2 planned rooks: * A female human mage (probably chose the Evoker class). Her faction will be Shadow Dragons. She will romance Lucanis. My team will be Lucanis and Davrin. * A female elf who’s a veil ranger rogue (and who’s faction is the veil jumpers). her team will be Davrin and Hardin, and she will romance once of them.
I don’t know which specialization I should choose. As a male Elf, should I be a Champion, Veil Ranger or Spell Blade As a female Dwarf, should I be a Saboteur or Duelist As a female Human, should I be a Death Caller or Evoker As a male Qunari, should I be a Reaper or Slayer But I know which companion I’m romancing in each walkthrough Male Elf Champion/Spell Blade/Veil Ranger, romancing Harding Female Dwarf Saboteur/Dualist, romancing Assan Female Human Evoker/Death Caller, romancing Lucanis Male Qunari Slayer/Reaper, romancing Tassh
Romance wise I'm thinking bellara or Harding. Though isn't Harding a semi romance for the Inquisitor if you don't romance any of the others? Though I'll have to check it taash as well just in case. But so far I'm leaving towards bellara
As someone who played a lot of mage builds I feel like I might stick with it and see if I can do a spellblade/evoker multi build. I have two people I want to romance but haven't decided yet, Taash and Lucanis - tho I will have to see when it comes out who I vibe with more lol. As for backgrounds and the specialisation icons I think they might give you more buffs or something if you match them up together (but that might just be me overthinking it bc I doubt they had it there for no reason) but I feel like I might lean into SD or AC but I guess we will see what the buffs are when the info is out
That is true but from my experience bioware rarely does things without some sort of purpose, so I have trouble believing that they didn't do this without having something in mind. Tho it is was fun to speculate
I just hope Spell Blade is close to Knight Enchanter. That was my favorite specialization in Inquisition. I am leaning towards Antivan Crowes, but I don't know, maybe Veil Jumper's.
Id use emmeric and davrin the neceo for damage and thr tank for distraction with a focus on tankyness and throwing his sheild, hopefully the sheild theow can taunt.
Hope i can specilize my mage into fire, ice or electric, would seem a little odd that companions specilize in a specific element and you can't 🤔 wont upset me or anything but i do like specilizing into a specific element.
Although this game will be more linear progression I am so looking forward to playing it. In the meantime maybe I'll go back to the Hinterlands and wander around for a few hundred hours.😆
Yes my class will be saboteur from what i hear they are a mix of artificer and the saboteur from. Inquisition,if true that would open alot of ways to burst damage and control the feild.
Hi dan, thank you for your informative video, i am very excited to play as a necromancer in my first playthrough,i think a class like that would be very powerful against the eluvians and i am also interested to see solas reaction to it.
I really hope they have traps if so it seems our specialization will depend on what classes we put points into ie: veil ranger with points into saboteur ,if so im definitely making a saboteur with points into veil ranger for a magic trapper! Ohh hopefully they allow rogues to lay down magic mines.
I think my first character would be an elf crow spellblade romancing Lucanis! Always loved the idea of a mage assassin and wanted to romance Lucanis from the first time I read his story years ago! And elf because well starting from Inquisition onward, being an elf gives you the richest lore. If you've not read his story btw he's basically an assassin's creed protagonist in the DA universe (as far as his abilities and combat skills go not his personality which is a professional assassin with his own sense of justice).
I have played the first playthrough of every DA game as a female mage and I'm going to continue that trend. Evoker probably as the specialization as I do love lightning and fire magic. Harding is probably going to be my main rogue, that's clear...And then a sword and shield warrior.
So the Necromancer Companion appears to have a “pet” (which I hope is battle ready) And it appears that the Warden Companion ALSO has a pet (Baby Griffon?) So if both of those things are true then they’re both coming with me because I want more bodies on the field If the PLAYER version of a Warden or Necromancer gets pet/s then I am playing whichever class lets me do that, and then I guess I’ll take the Qunari lady because I gotta romance someone, right? 🎉
If so, pets will be incontrollable distractions that may or may not have a skill slot requirement (that may make them attack a target with a bonus attack?)
@@Dantics my hope is that you can at (the very least) direct them to specific targets - I’m not as worried about whether that have “actives” but I think they would have a bunch of “passives” like drawing more agro or damage/control/defensive auras They’ve shown the Griffin actively directly in a combat situation and they’ve shown Skeleboi so I’m hoping that means access to both *I want an army*
@@atharvawaikar9730 Pretty sure Zabava's question was rhetorical because it IS obvious. Racism is quite normalized in most places. If you're a white person and will not date someone specifically because they are not white, that is actually a pretty odd thing to ask for. It's one thing to say you aren't interested in someone, but to write off other races entirely is not about "community". A queer person not being interested in 3 canonically queer characters because they aren't white enough is not about "community".
@@Sneasling Racism and romantic attraction are two completely different things. People are allowed to have preferences and not being attracted to dark skinned people is not racism. You guys use the racism card so much the original meaning has been completely lost by this point.
@@atharvawaikar9730I did not say that people are not allowed to have preferences. Nor did I say you are racist for not being attracted to someone who happens to be of a different race. But if you are talking about not being attracted to someone and you bring up your race even though no one asked? That's pretty weird. And if you don't date someone exclusively because of their race, that actually IS racism. Saying that you find entire races of people unattractive because they are not white is racism. And pointing out racist actions and microaggressions does not diminish institutionalized racism at all. Because more than one type of thing can be racist. But I am really curious about one thing you mentioned. You said "You guys". What does that mean exactly? Who am I? What group is it that you are lumping me into? I can't say I personally have "used the racism card so much", but you seem to think you know me. So who are these "guys" that I am a part of?
Yeah I’m feeling a rogue either duelist or spell blade, though the melee mage is also intriguing. I love the idea of a 2 handed warrior but I played reaver in DAI and it got a little old after a while. Maybe the slayer will end up being more dynamic. Then origin of Shadow Dragons or maybe Veil Jumpers? I like the idea of Lords of Fortune but fail to see how they will have much of an impact story wise. Companions definitely Davren, Taash, Neve, and Lucanis are the ones that interest me most. Primarily the first 2. Not closed off to the others but they’re not speaking to me, particularly Harding. Maybe her mysterious magical powers could be cool though. No romance. Don’t do that much in games.
Definitely Spellblade mage in the shadowdragons faction; was thinking veiljumpers too, but can't help but fight opression. Probably gonna romance the warden; hes cool and has a griffin.
at least there is more than 2 choices for romance with there being more than just 2 female characters this time. also finally we can romance harding properly. if i understood romance correctly. harding will likely be the most romanced character. also mage character for the win yeah.
Cool video, thank you :) I've played Origins a couple of times, so there's no canonical Hero of Ferelden in my head. But my Hawke is a male sorcerer who went with Anders all the way and my Inquisitor is an elven female two-handed unkillable Champion who romanced Solas. I think in The Veilguard I'll go for a male dwarven Warrior - possibly Champion or Reaper later on - with the Grey Warden background. I want to play as a stout defender type this time around and I'd love to romance Lace Harding because I just found her immensely endearing in Inquisition. Really hope she'll be well written :) Nothing's set in stone though. Do we know if there'll be romance options outside of your active party yet? Like Cullen and Josephine in Inquisition?
Hopefully, Spellblade isn't just daggers, and I can wield a sword or 2. In any case, there will be meteors dropping and lightning strikes left and right
I'm pretty sure Neve's name has been pronounced like it is in Portuguese (probable origin for her name, meaning "snow"), with the first "E" sounding similar to the second "E" in "celestial" instead of the first one in "scene".
I’ve loved Varric from DA2 and lamented he was off limits into DAI because of Bianca. It’s time to open up a romance with Varric I want to mend his broken heart without dwarven norms!
Have to see the mage skills, but going Lords of Fortune. As for companions, going my Mass Effect style; one slot is reserved for one of the female LIs I am romancing. Such as Ashley then someone who adds biotics/tech. Romancing Taash first, so she is reserved as my warrior. Then gotta see who works best in the area I am going to. I am glad they added more female options unlike DAI, where it was just Sera I liked... Going Mage, Elf, LoF, Taash.
Choosing two companions is going to be hard. I really like to alternate companions to get all the dialog available. Some combos of teammates can be fun. I hope the replay value will be great to try new things. Everything is still up in the air. We've seen some stuff, but not enough to know what works best. Hopefully we'll get more info, footage and a release date soon. Thanks Dantics!
I have a "locked" spot that is only filled by the one I am romancing. Like how I played ME. Taash then someone who provides what the setup misses (range or tank)
Definitely shadow dragon. I've been aching to burn down slavery since DA:O. I love playing DW rogues and breaking them (+guard on hit was unkillable in DA:I). But im going to roll a melee mage first. I dont know yet what race. Elf had a richer experience in DA:I.
So basically I will be bringing a tank and a healer? xD I really want Ballera on my team honestly. Davrin also sems like a no brainer. Wait, Harding is a Veil Hunter and Ballera is a Spellblade with a bow isn't she?
I'm going with male mage warden, like most of my main characters in dragon age. Except for my warden he will always be Warden commander Cousland, son of teryn Cousland of ferelden 💔
Lucanis gives me the feeling he’ll be somewhat “anti-mage” complex and will most likely end up having differing opinions towards most of the magic users I mean a bit odd to be a “mage killer” in a 99% Mage and Magic run city but I could be wrong and he could be a very pleasant character

I am going lord of fortune elf warrior (slayer). I have no idea who my companions are going to be yet, but I am soooo excited to play 🥹
if that griffon plays a roll in combat. the warden will be in most peoples party often
Yeah all comes down to if that griffin joins you
The Champion iconography makes me wonder if the Wardens have gone through an armor redesign.
They did in DAI, so makes sense another redesign being a decade timeline wise since, looking at Davrin warden armor.
@@HyouVizer davrins looks more like a rogue armor to me, hopefully we get the plate armor back.
@@spiderz5145 grey wardens also split into 2 groups, davrin is probably part of the new/reformed order
Initially I was thinking I'd go veil ranger specialization, however I'm thinking I'll go between veil ranger and sabateur rogue class, as a human veil guard for my first play through, totally interested in what the abilities and weapons extended specialized skill sets are going to be. Can't wait for your in depth skill tree video!!!
Damn that N7 PC is a looker!
I'm very into it. Hard to work with it staring at me! Thanks man!
Yeah seriously I stopped and was like damn 😂 Hook me up bro lol.
I'm going to choose Grey warden for sure and I wonder if we are going to see the hero of ferelden, plus if we choose the crown of antiva don't you think that we may going to cross with zevran and going to face him?
I sure hope we do!
@@Dantics thank for the answer plus I still thinking about choosing Hawke or the Grey warden commander on Inquisition, I bet we are going to face the consequences of that choice
Probably, but that is half the fun!
Tbf being an assassing specialized in killing mages doesn't make you a mage hater inherently, I know he has a comic so idk if I'm missing relevant background on that front.
Is it going to be mission based like mass effect 2?
Yes, it will be
Laughing so hard at those comments you posted and laughing at myself as well!
The instance I heard „sensitive gentlemen“ and „necromancer“ in one sentence describing Emmrich in other video I screamed „sold!“. Now, I always play a mage, and with a game limiting my choice to only three companions this sounds…problematic. Gonna be playing the least balanced team in the world 🫡
Who needs balance!? Not us!!
Are the Lords of Fortune ever explicitly said to be pirates? It sounds more like an adventurers guild to me.
Definitely seems like an adventure guild taking on hunts of deadly monster sightings. That's what it looks like to me, idk am a casual fan lol.
They're been depicted as adventurers but with a pirate theme. Their symbol is even the Kraken.
Varric wont be a companion, sorry mate. Id recommend harding instead
@@BroncoJ It's really sad thing. I still hope it will somehow change
So... There is no healer ou pure supportive class? On Inquisition we at least got Knight Enchanter
Was going to go rogue, but spellblade sounds more fun!
I really hope you can use any weapon you want, a necromancer mage with a shield sounds badass.
I hope so too. I feel we will have limits - but it seems weapon switching is a thing for a reason
It's confirmed warriors can't dualwield in DA4
@@Kross415 Y i know, it was more about u can play two hand champion or shield based warrior reaper most likely cos weapon perks are other part of sill tree then specialization.
@@nordicpush1452 Oh, I got you now. Yeah it would be fair to assume so, if not, it's going to be even more limiting wich would be crazy honestly.
Yes maybe I should have been more clear. I meant they will lean a particular way
More?! Let's goooooo!
Let's do it!
The Mourn Watch sounds like the rebranded Mortalitasi that Cassandra talked about in Inquisition.
I have 3/6 fully planned rooks
1. A dwarf (saboteur) antivan crow (or Lord of fortune) with Davrin and Emmrich in my party
Romancing Davrin or Lucanis
2. Elven Death caller or Reaper, mortalitasi, with Taash or Lucanis and Harding or Bellara
Romancing Emmrich
3. Human Warden, Champion, with Lucanis and Neve
Romancing Harding
Planning to do 6 runs - cultured!
time to create the most magey mage to romance the mage killer with
Real
Unlike alot of people, i have at least three companions i want to romance, so this'll be a few good playthroughs for me. Im excited for the game.
Which are they? Closest for me is Lucanis, he looks suave and cunning. Maybe Emmrich but getting busy with a skeleton is very off putting, hope that is optional 💀
Darvin has a sexy voice, hot voice actor but on the fence of character design in terms of attractiveness 🤔
@@HyouVizer Emmrich, Lucanis and Harding.
(I wasn't initially gonna run after the necromancer- but the idea of the HoF berating both Rook and the Inquisitor of running after old men- has not stopped being funny.)
And yeah, I'm with you on Davrin- his ears are just so... big.
I’m just annoyed they made them all pansexual, makes the romance system feel so cheap and unrealistic 😔 I say that as a pansexual myself.
@@ruarikelsey1793 For you. Having 2 Taash, 2 Bella, and 2 Neve satisfies my OCD.
And knowing its not Larian, I won't cheated by having a shit ending for my muscle mommy...
I got Taash, Bella, and Neve. Maybe in that order, maybe not, but Taash is first.
Completely fair. I am personally basing my choice purely on their skills this time around
@@Dantics Yea, normally I do that too, but I gotta try necro first. Still doing the DA trinity tho at least. Plus I feel like having Ballera for first playthrough will hopefully lead into finding fun stuff from her skill.
I have 2 planned rooks:
* A female human mage (probably chose the Evoker class). Her faction will be Shadow Dragons. She will romance Lucanis. My team will be Lucanis and Davrin.
* A female elf who’s a veil ranger rogue (and who’s faction is the veil jumpers). her team will be Davrin and Hardin, and she will romance once of them.
"You can hug and pet the baby griffon" okay but can I pet and hug manfred!? I wanna pet and hug manfred Bioware!!!
You can def converse with him, he is voiced by a big name voice actor ;)
I don’t know which specialization I should choose.
As a male Elf, should I be a Champion, Veil Ranger or Spell Blade
As a female Dwarf, should I be a Saboteur or Duelist
As a female Human, should I be a Death Caller or Evoker
As a male Qunari, should I be a Reaper or Slayer
But I know which companion I’m romancing in each walkthrough
Male Elf Champion/Spell Blade/Veil Ranger, romancing Harding
Female Dwarf Saboteur/Dualist, romancing Assan
Female Human Evoker/Death Caller, romancing Lucanis
Male Qunari Slayer/Reaper, romancing Tassh
Hearted so hopefully someone helps. Personally I think you can't go wrong with any of them. Unless you have a preference for range or melee
@@Dantics I'm more of a warrior and mage kind of guy.
Romance wise I'm thinking bellara or Harding. Though isn't Harding a semi romance for the Inquisitor if you don't romance any of the others? Though I'll have to check it taash as well just in case. But so far I'm leaving towards bellara
They're both romanceable in Veilguard for sure - will have to wait and see their personalities.
I already picked Taash as the first romance. I just have to see who would be a good second, then gotta decide between Bellera and Neve.
Why no Inquisition faction there? is Inquisition disbanded canon? But we know that Harding is came from Inquisition in the official trailer.
Hey, where did the Devs confirm warriors cannot dual wield? Do you have a link? Thanks!
As someone who played a lot of mage builds I feel like I might stick with it and see if I can do a spellblade/evoker multi build. I have two people I want to romance but haven't decided yet, Taash and Lucanis - tho I will have to see when it comes out who I vibe with more lol.
As for backgrounds and the specialisation icons I think they might give you more buffs or something if you match them up together (but that might just be me overthinking it bc I doubt they had it there for no reason) but I feel like I might lean into SD or AC but I guess we will see what the buffs are when the info is out
Yeah it's hard to tell without the specifics but I don't think they'll give matching buffs - just because Bioware want us to experiment
It does seem to be!
Thank you for the suggested combos! Very useful 😊
Thanks mybcro! 😁
Interesting that each of the specializations has one of the icons of the backgrounds/orders
Id use emmeric and davrin the neceo for damage and thr tank for distraction with a focus on tankyness and throwing his sheild, hopefully the sheild theow can taunt.
I figure it will taunt
Hope i can specilize my mage into fire, ice or electric, would seem a little odd that companions specilize in a specific element and you can't 🤔 wont upset me or anything but i do like specilizing into a specific element.
I’m interested to see where they go with these companions, but I’m willing to bet no one is topping the Dorian romance
Spell blade with the shadow crow background. Not decided on companions yet.
Although this game will be more linear progression I am so looking forward to playing it. In the meantime maybe I'll go back to the Hinterlands and wander around for a few hundred hours.😆
At least you always have Inquisition if you want to get your exploration fix
Yes my class will be saboteur from what i hear they are a mix of artificer and the saboteur from. Inquisition,if true that would open alot of ways to burst damage and control the feild.
That's the impression I got as well - they will be an environmental control class if spec'd right
my warden was a dalish elf my inky was a dalish elf my rooks gonna be a dalish elf probably a veil ranger veil jumpers
Call you Santa because you got all the elves
I'm definitely going to be a Warden, as I was in Origins. All else may vary. I might even try to play my original Warden, as an older veteran.
It seems the solas' ritual you messed up corupt you so every spec being magic can make sense
I would love poisons and traps, but not too sure yet about specialisation cross over
I think my first character would be an elf crow spellblade romancing Lucanis!
Im planning on making my Rook a Qunari Mage who will romance Davrin. Considering Death Caller Mourn Watch.
I'm already set on my Spellblade Grey Warden...
I have played the first playthrough of every DA game as a female mage and I'm going to continue that trend. Evoker probably as the specialization as I do love lightning and fire magic. Harding is probably going to be my main rogue, that's clear...And then a sword and shield warrior.
I just hope Spellblades melee stuff doesn't require you to use the daggers. I just really wanna be smacking people around with the staff like in DA2
Hopefully its linear in a dragon age 2 or mass effect style with open areas. More willing to replay it if I don’t have to run around as much
From what I hear it’s very much like da2 areas
So the Necromancer Companion appears to have a “pet” (which I hope is battle ready)
And it appears that the Warden Companion ALSO has a pet (Baby Griffon?)
So if both of those things are true then they’re both coming with me because I want more bodies on the field
If the PLAYER version of a Warden or Necromancer gets pet/s then I am playing whichever class lets me do that, and then I guess I’ll take the Qunari lady because I gotta romance someone, right? 🎉
If so, pets will be incontrollable distractions that may or may not have a skill slot requirement (that may make them attack a target with a bonus attack?)
@@Dantics my hope is that you can at (the very least) direct them to specific targets - I’m not as worried about whether that have “actives” but I think they would have a bunch of “passives” like drawing more agro or damage/control/defensive auras
They’ve shown the Griffin actively directly in a combat situation and they’ve shown Skeleboi so I’m hoping that means access to both
*I want an army*
No reaver? That blows I liked the high risk high dps play style
Reaper is that!
I'm gonna be a shadow dragon / tal vashoth saarebas, simply because her existence will certainly piss off both the qunari and the tevinter magisters
That's the saving grace for me - but I prefer the DA2 design. Hard choice!
This was excellent, thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it! 😁
17:56 "as a WHITE gay man" what does white have to do with it?? 🤨
I was thinking the same thing.
Should be obvious. He wanted a love interest from his own community. Hardly an odd thing to ask for.
First romance is gonna be harding for sure. Wish we could have gotten more of her in inquisition.
I agree Harding had such personality and depth but we never got enough of her
Yeah I’m feeling a rogue either duelist or spell blade, though the melee mage is also intriguing.
Yeah it really comes down to the companions skills for me
Im going to look for a 3 party member mod when it comes out
I wonder how long that will take.
Hey Dantics, what happened to the "Commander Shepard plays..." Series? It was fucking funny and halairious
I think I am going to be a human spell blade grey warden or veil jumper with Darvin and then either Emmerich or Bellera as my second companion.
It seems you have it locked up which is excellent. Seem like good choices all around.
@@Dantics We’ll see haha! Few months to change my mind. I feel like I can’t not have Darvin though, seems like such a cool character
Cool video, thank you :)
I've played Origins a couple of times, so there's no canonical Hero of Ferelden in my head. Really hope she'll be well written :)
Nothing's set in stone though. Do we know if there'll be romance options outside of your active party yet? Like Cullen and Josephine in Inquisition?
"Warriors can't dual wield" and mages can't equip bows. I think the companions work differently from Rook's base class.
Yep that's how it seems, and what I point out
Hopefully, Spellblade isn't just daggers, and I can wield a sword or 2.
I am so glad that the elves have decent looking bodies this time. The elves in inquisition looked odd. Especially the males
I haven’t seen any of the mages 🧙 with the ability to put a barrier on their party members did they take this ability away from the mage class
Agreed! Super hard. Means multiple playthroughs
Yeah that's how I feel too. Now that TI is here, I want to burn it down.
So basically I will be bringing a tank and a healer? xD
I really want Ballera on my team honestly.
Davrin also sems like a no brainer.
Wait, Harding is a Veil Hunter and Ballera is a Spellblade with a bow isn't she?
I think they're their own class, so to speak. They don't fit in the same mold
@@Dantics could be
I'm going with male mage warden, like most of my main characters in dragon age. Except for my warden he will always be Warden commander Cousland, son of teryn Cousland of ferelden 💔
I hope you get to meet him
Spellblade = arcane warrior ? Yes please
Seems like it
Informative as hell! Also, that PC gave me butterflies in my stomach.
Me too! When I first saw it done I jumped!
Main theme music dragon age inqusiton was so epic
Yooo I wonder if some of these romances will pull a Halsin 😮💨
I wish at least Varric was a companion :/
he was for last 2 games, once was enough lol.
I'm going Dwarven Champion Warden in honor of my first Hero of Ferelden.
That's completely fair
It's at the very least weird that mages and rogues have thecsame node names. I think those are placeholders.
Well done great video🎉👏🏾
Lucanis gives me the feeling he’ll be somewhat “anti-mage” complex and will most likely end up having differing opinions towards most of the magic users I mean a bit odd to be a “mage killer” in a 99% Mage and Magic run city but I could be wrong and he could be a very pleasant character
I’m torn between elf mage grey warden or a qunary mage grey warden, I can’t decide 😂
