- While every other camper trailer company focuses on their 79 Cruiser, we have been busily building our MR Triton and we have been getting a bunch of questions along the way so we thought we would shoot this little walk around to show you what we have been up to.

I have same car with DP chip and it goes hard. Excellent tourer and with the right tyres and good suspension it goes anywhere

Wicked setup! We're looking at getting our triton a new suspension kit after throwing on a canopy, which brand did fulcrum install for you?
We opted for the Formula R/Str Lift Kit. Heavy duty springs on the rear.

On a more serious note what is the engine like, a 2.4 L or more? How much can you tow? What is the GCM? And last would you do a big lap with this car, 4 personnes including 2 kids 2 adults, the op4 (obviously!!!) and our stuff for a 1 year lap?
Hi Sophie thanks for the questions.
Here are the specs for the Triton:
The engine is a 2.4Ltr Turbo which produces around 130kW of power. This is pretty good however once tuned I am anticipating much better results.
As standard the Triton kerb weight is a smidge of 2000kgs with a GVM sitting at 2900. As it sits, the SUC Triton is just over 2400kgs kerb weight but that includes the bullbar and the 270 degree awning. The numbers are safe but a GVM upgrade is due for touring.
GCM - There are a lot of calculations you need to take in to consideration for GCM. I will find you a calculator I have used in the past that will help. :)
Would I travel Aus in the Triton?? Yep in a heart beat. Depending on the things you are carrying with you I would suggest a GVM upgrade or at the very least upgrade your suspension and lift by 2". This will make a world of difference to your towing experience :)

@@joshclifton7142 Bash plates didn’t impact anything for the recovery points but the bar did add a little complexity, nothing too difficult. Go see the boys at custom offroad bash plates.. Simon is a good guy and will look after you

she's about 40cm wide, 20m width with a circumference of 78mm

It’s called the Commercial Delux by Ironman
Music edit is not the best, as I cannot hear the delivery of information about the build.
Do the spot lights affect the radar sensor behind the grill.
Yep does make the sensor randomly beep from time to time. I put up with it :)
