I love the paint color of the Louisiana Kid too. I am a Air Force Vietnam veteran and I have always had a love affair with the P 51 Mustang. Around a year ago the Aero Precision firearm company came out with commemorative stocks for AR 15 rifles for each branch of service limited editions of 500 and I have one built with the yellow/black checker board cerakote color with the silver and It has P 51 on the side. It is a beautiful AR 15. If you have an email address I will send you a picture of It or a cell phone number I will send It to you. A picture that is. Lol.

Definitely a positive video! I was able to take my step son on the 3D flight simulator at Southern Hills Mall in Sioux City, IA several years back. It was a P-51D, pilot's discretion over Mojave Desert. Epic! (Not a pilot, but my paternal grandfather was in Europe for WWII. The Mustangs and Thunderbolts were the 'Angels on their shoulders!')

“ Tooter Teague “ was a famous aviator from the great state of Louisiana. Bossier City Louisiana.
Known for his Chance Vought F 8 Crusader aircraft exploits, the last of the gun fighters as she was known. The only aircraft I’m aware of with a variable incidence wing. Forerunner to the A 7 Corsair II which had a very good service record in Vietnam.
The 51 sure had sleek lines.
The inner gear doors drop on their own weight and hydroelectric cylinders retract for ground clearance.
One retracting landing light as well.
In training aircraft instructors would randomly call engine failure. Always with the thought of emergency landing or if not possible then bail out if altitude allows.
Wheels up better in corn field and the like. Ditching at sea pretty dicy as tends to nose in after scoop hits.
Hard belly landing hard on spine as seats were rigid tight shoulder straps kept pilot from worse injury.

No tenían chance.

How much does that cost to ride in the back seat? I need to save up some money.

Why I didn't see the cameraman in the back seat from outside?

Great but holding a phone without a wrist lanyard at the very least? A loose article in the cockpit could bring a precious warbirds to a premature end.

You're right. I did not even think about it then. I got the phone out because it seemed like the headcam was not recording.

Expect about 3.000.000 $ at least for a flying Mustang...

Too heavy to maneuver with a me109 too many lies over out maneuvering the Luftwaffe is way overblown. Know the truth, Mercedes Benz would pluck this p51d out the sky.
