Sorry to hear of your situation Paul, as I enjoyed the video's you and Liz put out, but 'sometimes' life takes a different turn, and we must move forward. Remember, you're not the only one in this situation, as there are many other men, and women as well dealing with a similar situation, so it takes some time for all to bump into one another, and give it another go, and hope the events work out. Also, remember there are those of us 'in' a long term marriage, that end up feeling alone, wanting to stick to our vows and the family unit together, and also deal with similar pain. Always look forward to your video's, and will watch for the tour you will share with us! I just was under my Tiffin this morning, giving it a grease job, and not realizing it's just not as easy as it was when I was younger! Also noticed some drips under my top radiator hose, so I have an appointment with Cummins in the morning!

Good to see you made it safely. Looks like you have your hands full with Boo. Paul, you have been out on the road long enough to know we RVers will most likely stop and talk with each other given the chance. You brother, will never be truly alone. We usually camp on the west coast. Gave the southwest a try once. Our little male Yorkie wanted to mark all the cactus we came across, but that story is best told around a campfire with an adult beverage in hand. Thank you for the update, Paul! I know it’s painful, especially during the Holidays. It makes it even harder that she came to the realization first and had a head start getting over the relationship. Try not to think about things and rehash it. I’ve been through a lot of relationship heartache and only time will help. Enjoy your dog and exploring the country in your RV. The new rig looks awesome!

Lots of support here Paul I'm a cyclist much like you & just wanted to say, when things go south, I like to get on a bike and ride sometimes 50 miles Sometimes 100, what ever it takes. Been alone for a few Christmas's and what I usually did was get on the phone to a dear friend or family. I wish we were closer, we would come over and see if ya wanted to go for a ride. Someone used to tell me when I was going thru my divorce" women are like busses, another one will be around in 10 min" , it took me a long time to understand and laugh at it, but I do now. You dont need to be with someone to be happy, even though sometimes it feels like it! You'll be fine and youre not thre only one whos alone for the holidays! Hang in there Paul. I have been widowed for nearly 10 years. It is tough not having a partner. You look good and so glad to see you have a little dog as a friend. They can make such good companions.. I have a small dog as well. The holidays are overrated and hyped so don't let them get you down. Just keep trucking on as I see you are doing.
Breaking up really is hard to do, but your life will go on as will Liz's. Be careful not to rebound because at Quartzite there will be dozens of available ladies (more?), but you need time to heal. Things will get better, a lot better! Your lovely puppy will be a great companion! Have fun and keep busy! Eventually you will meet someone to share the open road with again.
Finding someone is not even on my radar because as you rightly noted it would just be a rebound and wouldn’t be fair to whoever it was, so I’m taking time to get my head right before I even think someone else. Thanks, Chuckles 👍🏼

Hi Paul, In so many ways you are not alone, you are just writing the next chapter. Wish someone had written a book on aging, it would have been helpful. The good part is that you are in Quartzite where many interesting people will be arriving daily. Love Boo, he is a great companion and such a conversation starter when you take him for walks. Your comments on the trip down there make me laugh, because that's me. We have been RVing for 24 years, the first two we were full time and we roamed the country. Didn't matter how many hours we drove it was always an adventure. Now we think we are a big deal if we drive 3 hours. How'd we get here...where did we stay last night? Ahhh... So fortunate to now have GPS. My best to you for an adventursome New Year. Looking forward to your next post.

Good to see you made it safely. Looks like you have your hands full with Boo. Paul, you have been out on the road long enough to know we RVers will most likely stop and talk with each other given the chance. You brother, will never be truly alone. You have us, the folks who you make these videos for and boo. I personally look forward to meeting you two someday out on the road, to laugh, share a story or a meal. We usually camp on the west coast. Gave the southwest a try once. Our little male Yorkie wanted to mark all the cactus we came across, but that story is best told around a campfire with an adult beverage in hand. Thank you for the update, Paul! I know it’s painful, especially during the Holidays. It makes it even harder that she came to the realization first and had a head start getting over the relationship. Try not to think about things and rehash it. I’ve been through a lot of relationship heartache and only time will help. Enjoy your dog and exploring the country in your RV. The new rig looks awesome!

I’m definitely heading straight for ‘the dark night of the soul’. Sadly, I went through one almost exactly a year ago. Because it involves the same person I don’t think it will be nearly as bad this time, but it still hurts like Hell!

I'm a cyclist much like you & just wanted to say, when things go south, I like to get on a bike and ride sometimes 50 miles
Sometimes 100, what ever it takes. Been alone for a few Christmas's and what I usually did was get on the phone to a dear friend or family.
I wish we were closer, we would come over and see if ya wanted to go for a ride.

Someone used to tell me when I was going thru my divorce" women are like busses, another one will be around in 10 min" , it took me a long time to understand and laugh at it, but I do now. You dont need to be with someone to be happy, even though sometimes it feels like it! You'll be fine and youre not thre only one whos alone for the holidays! Hang in there Paul. I have been widowed for nearly 10 years. It is tough not having a partner. You look good and so glad to see you have a little dog as a friend. They can make such good companions.. I have a small dog as well. The holidays are overrated and hyped so don't let them get you down. Just keep trucking on as I see you are doing.
Breaking up really is hard to do, but your life will go on as will Liz's. Be careful not to rebound because at Quartzite there will be dozens of available ladies (more?), but you need time to heal. Things will get better, a lot better! Your lovely puppy will be a great companion! Have fun and keep busy! Eventually you will meet someone to share the open road with again.
Finding someone is not even on my radar because as you rightly noted it would just be a rebound and wouldn’t be fair to whoever it was, so I’m taking time to get my head right before I even think someone else. Thanks, Chuckles 👍🏼

Hi Paul, In so many ways you are not alone, you are just writing the next chapter. Wish someone had written a book on aging, it would have been helpful. The good part is that you are in Quartzite where many interesting people will be arriving daily. Love Boo, he is a great companion and such a conversation starter when you take him for walks. Your comments on the trip down there make me laugh, because that's me. We have been RVing for 24 years, the first two we were full time and we roamed the country. Didn't matter how many hours we drove it was always an adventure. Now we think we are a big deal if we drive 3 hours. How'd we get here...where did we stay last night? Ahhh... So fortunate to now have GPS. My best to you for an adventursome New Year. Looking forward to your next post.
