Can't wait for "still here" - I really loved that you read some stories in advance- it really helps understanding the scenes in the cinematic (apart from being epic). I would really appreciate the reaction to the necrit video - even though it is not your first time watching. If you still have questions left we can help you out in the comments :) Also: Volibear and Ornn are demi gods and brothers! The ursine (the polarbear person you saw in the cinematic chanting the thunder) are followers/worshippers of Volibear that was only referenced in the cloud shape. In ascending mount targon one must face the aspects - Pantheon is only the title of "the aspect of war" - his current mortal name is Artreus. He is fighting Leona, the aspect of the sun who is protecting the gate that you see in the background for ascention of mount targon. The shots bringing pantheon down from mount targon in tne cinematic are heavily speculated to be aurelion sol's- the celestrial dragon that was tricked by the targonians to wear a crown that bounds him to this world of runeterra - they hope that he helps in destroying the void holes.

That Kaisa and Taliyah story is beautiful. Especially when you read the story, Taliyah teaches Kaisa how to care for others, and Kaisa teaches Taliyah that she needs to learn the pain of sacrifice. And they both do it in this cinematic.
A little context about Pantheon(the 300 guy/spartan). This takes place after the Ruinination cinematic. After Viego took his body, Pantheon's will was shattered. So to regain his confidence/will/purpose he climbed Mt. Targon again for the third time i believe. First was when he climbed to become the host of Aspect of war, second was when Veigo took over his body, and this one is the third.

Speaking of Necrit if guys want theres a tier list video from him ranking how strong each character is in League in the Lore (not the game) its pretty long (47 min) but would be good understanding of the power scaling of the characters if you guys are interested, this is if you guys didn’t watch it already. @@RaySprk Bullsht. Celestials are immortal. Until someone stronger than him appears, he is chilling. Also, Kindred's powers do not reach celestial beings. They are just 2 of a dozen of death spirits that operate only on Runterra. If Aurelion sol chose to destroy Runterra, Kindred will disappear. If there is no one to believe in them, they are gone.
The red wookie is Ornn, God of the Forge. The few scenes where he is making a sword is significant because Ornn hasn’t forged a weapons in over a thousand years. The making of a weapon is a sign that war is coming. The ice place is Freljord. The lady on the boar (Bristle) is Sejuani. She is leading her small group of warriors (including Olaf, the dude who head butt the ice) against the Ursine (the polar bear dudes). Sejuani is part of a much larger group, but they are scattered into many smaller groups to make survival easier (less mouths to feed logic). The Ursine are followers of a god named Volibear (The bear in the clouds). The Ursine are men who can transform into bears and use lightning because they worship Volibear. They stole a cauldron from Ornn that allows any mortal to go a year without food if they drink from it. (Ornn and Volibear are brothers, but they don’t like eachother). The Ursine stole the cauldron because Volibear believes it makes men weak. (Man needs to be fighting constantly to stay strong logic). The desert area is a region of Shurima. Taliyah (the earthbending lady) and Kai’sa (purple girl) have teamed up recently to fight the Xer’sai (small(er) tunneling monsters from the Void). The Xer’sai are children of the big creature, Rek’sai. In the end, Kai’sa sacrifices herself (not in a dying way but like a freedom way) by leading Rek’sai back to the void while Taliyah seals the tunnel. Taliyah is all about protecting people and Kai’sa is all about fighting void monsters. Kai’sa’s suit is actually a living creature that created a symbiotic relationship with Kai’sa (think venom). Kai’sa was a normal human girl, but she got trapped in the void at a young age and had to fight for survival while miraculously keeping her hair, skin, and makeup beautiful. The spartan is Pantheon but also has the human name Atreus. (I’m a bit iffy on this side of the lore). Pantheon is a man that was possessed/gained the power of the aspect of war, but the aspect of war died and gave Pantheon his humanity back (or something like that). He is climbing Mount Targon which is like a magical mountain that the celestials and aspects (basically gods) reside. Few mortals are able to reach the top of Mount Targon. Those that do are granted great power. (Reason pantheon god the power of the aspect of war.) The men he encounters by the portal are the solari. They are men who worship the sun. Pantheon drives his spear into the ground because he does not have any quarrel with humans. Pantheon hates the celestials and aspects which is why he is ascending the mountain to fight them. He beats the shit out of the men, but he doesn’t kill them because his fight is with the aspects. The gold lady, Leona appears from the portal to fight Pantheon. (The look he gives her is him being glad he’s finally found the opponent he’s been looking for). Leona is the aspect of the sun and leader of the solari. During the fight, Pantheon is blasted by a giant laser, which is theorized to be a falling star from a being named Aurelion Sol. He is a giant space that created the universe and likely the final boss opponent for Pantheon. The final bit of Pantheon’s part of the video, he is using his god powers to jump back to the top of the mountain which is his ultimate in the game where he can jump halfway across the map and come crashing down on his enemies. If there is anything I missed or got wrong I’m sure there will be replies correcting me.
Wonderful reaction. The Call is my favourite so far with Awaken a very, very close second. Honestly Awaken was fantastic, Camille and Jihn, and Valerie Broussard's voice, i mean incredible. Anyway, thank you for another great League video reaction, really looking forward to the next one!
After you watch "Still Here", you should watch Necrit's breakdown of the lore in Still Here. It's the best cinematic, in my opinion, but is still 100x better when you understand the lore behind it. But watch the cinematic first! Better to go in blind, and THEN discover more.
@@MeeshDeeReacts Kaisa's father would be Kassadin the voidwalker. I believe he went to the void to find his wife and daughter. Swain has an interaction with Kassadin telling him rumors about a girl coming back from the void.
What I like about Kaisa's backstory is that she wasn't special from the outset. She wasn't called or a chosen one or even trained. She's a survivor that turned the powers of the void to her advantage.
Exactly why I dislike her The Void is so immense and powerful and she as a normal child managed to survive essentially the end of the existence without anything happening to her Meanwhile Kassadin and Malzahar have only seen the Void and got corrupted. One's mind is beyond repair and the other one needs some aparatus to breathe, like Darth Vader, how much the Void broken his body And Kai'Sa gets a nanosuit and becomes a high fashion model
Some other information: - After Pantheon was corrupted in the Ruination event, he went to Mount Targon to find his true self. - Kai'sa's story will lead to what happened in "All that will ever be" that you have seen. The end of that clash is Bel'veth asking Kai'sa to go north to learn about the Watchers and help her destroy them. - Sejuani went to that mountain to find the magical cauldron that can help a person eat it once to live for many winters, which was originally Ornn's but was stolen by the Volibear army. - The statue with the slashed face is Xolaani, and she is a very well-built character in the game Legends of Runeterra.
Should definitely do "Still Here" and NeCrits "Still Here Breakdown" as one video. It'd be cool to see your initial reaction to the trailer and then your reaction to learning everything about it in one shot.
Yay, glad to have this finally drop! I LOVE Still Here but I think this may be my favorite of the ones Riot has made so far. Leona has been one of my favorite champions for a LONG time, and ever since Kai'sa hit the scene I've been pretty infatuated with her as well. So having both of my favorite ladies featured in one of the most gorgeous LoL cinematics so far? It makes me quite happy lol. I'm sad to see the run of cinematics nearing its end (at least as far as what they've made so far, I'm sure there'll be more bangers to come), but it's been great to get to hang out while you guys experience them. I love the enthusiasm you two have for this stuff, it's really fun to see people discover the crazy, rich world of LoL but I think you guys have been the most engrossed and interested of anyone I've seen do the big Reaction Run of all the LoL content out there. It's been a pleasure, ladies. Not that I'm going anywhere, I've been enjoying your other recent reactions too and I still need to go back and check out the Arcane reaction that started it all. :D
It always feels warm and cozy when i see new people exploring the world of runeterra, as a very old league player, lore enthusiast and story writter is nice to see people blown away with the cinematics and theorize who this champions are and what is their place in the world wheter if they're wrong or right with those theories. Riot really created something worth exploring and that unites people in a really cool way

8:21 By the way, this giant Stone/Earth statue with a giant cut on it’s face is a statue of "Xolaani", a Shuriman ascended turned Darkin, and the one that created this giant slash on her statue was Aatrox, they got beef lol Xolaani is a extremely interesting, cool, important and dangerous character imo but unfortunately she is only playable in the League card game (for now), where she has voice lines and had a full on saga revolving around her, i definitely recommend watching a video about her story.
Hairy lava man is a guy named Ornn, God of the forge. he has sworn (and when a god makes an oath, it's basically unbreakable) to never forge another weapon unless the world itself is in imminent danger. Ice lady with the pig is Sejuani, leader of one of the 3 major (human) tribes of the freljord (ice place), the other 2 major tribes being led by her sisters, Ashe and Lissandra (they hate each other, don't ask) Cool Viking guy who throws the axe is olaf, he's on a suicide quest to die in glorious combat because a Seer said he'd die peacefully in his sleep in bed when he was old. The bears are the children of Volibear, storm god (popped up in the clouds briefly), Both Ornn and Volibear are siblings who had a major battle years ago and don't like each other. As stated above, because of how vicious their battle was, Ornn vowed to never forge another weapon again unless he was able to predict a realm ending event happening soon. moving on the Spartan guy, that's pantheon (technically he's a dude possessed by pantheon) and is the god of war, not to be confused with Kratos. he's climbing mount targon (basically mount Olympus) because he hates the other gods, Leona, the sun god pops down to dual him for a bit, then Aurelion Sol (basically the god of anything between this particular solar system to the entire universe, not particularly descriptive, but he's a big space dragon) knocks pantheon off the mountain(technically Sol doesn't like anybody related to Mount Targon, but he was tricked by their rulers and they chained him thus they control him and his powers), causing our boi to lean into his god powers to yeet back up to finish his beef with the gods. Sand place (Shurima) has Taliyah, The earthbender, helping Kai'sa (sexy mutant suit lady) fight the children of Rek'sai (the big monster from the hole) to lure rek'sai out so that Kai'sa can hop into the void to do things and such, meanwhile Taliyah stays behind to seal the hole once kai'sa is in. this is likely the thing leading into future story development, so we don't know a lot of the "whys" yet. Kais'sa and Taliyah for context are both from the land of Shruima which long ago was sucked up by the "Void" Kais'a herself was sucked up when her village went under as a child and she only survived because she decided to go further into the Void, thus she found a piece of the void and it's molded to her body. She eventually escaped the void and has vowed to protect all other realms from the void trying to suck up everything. Basically, the void wants to devour everything it touches.
Small correction Pantheon, Aurelion Sol and Leona aren't Gods. Pantheon is The Aspect of War, Aurelion Sol is essentially the galaxy incarnate and Leona / Diana are the Aspects of The Sun and Moon respectively.
Good summary but I just want to correct you on one thing. The spartan guy, Atreus, was possesed by Pantheon(The aspect of war) until he met Aatrox (One of the Darkin, you guys have already seen him in another cinematic) and got killed by him. Aatreus somehow survived their encounter with Aatrox but retained Pantheons power (which is also why he has that huge scar on his chest) and has sworn to face and destroy the gods for destroying the lives of countless humans.
And that's why Pantheon is one of the coolest champions. He survived when a god did not, just because of his mortal will. And decided to become a shield and sword for humanity to fight against the gods. He's the best
And also some correction, that Seju, Ashe and Lissandra are not sisters. Seju and Ashe know each others since childhood but not sisters and Lissandra is waaay older and she had 2 very important sisters who now dead.
I love that you're both getting so into the lore that your assumptions about Champions you've never seen, just based on what you know about the world, are super solid. Volibear might not be Vastayan, but even knowing that's where most of the animal-like Champions fall is huge. And recognizing Champions after having only seen alternate skin versions of them? (Ruined Pantheon) We love to see it. :-)
The Call is awesome. The song especially... but yeah, Still Here is really the one I'm most looking forward to right now! I'm glad that you've made your way through a lot of the amazing League content! I've never played the game, and I never will, but I absolutely love their music and cinematics because of how emotionally powerful they are.
in order of appearance, mostly Ornn, the god of the forge Bristle (the boar) Sejuani (riding Bristle) Olaf (in the background behind Sejuani, with 2 axes) (has long horns on his helmet, threw the axe at the ursine) Taliyah Kai'Sa Pantheon (Sparta/Leonidas looking guy) Volibear (in the sky behind the mountain) Leona Rek'Sai (the big void creature coming out of the hole) Pantheon is not from the Lunari (like Diana is), he hates all celestials and aspects because he was taken as the aspect of War, i recommend reading Pantheon's lore
Fun fact: Volibear's appearence is most likely to be the one in the Coven skin, but his main skin is how he is represented by Freljordians, just one of his different forms that he uses. The people responsible for his redesign stated that they made that design first but Riot tought it wouldn not go well with the public or something like that, so they reimagined it to be a Coven skin and made the main redesign as we know today. In one of the stories shared in LoL website they described volibear almost exactly as how he is portraid in that Coven skin
i loved that they put the demi gods brothers in this cinematic, volibear and orn relationship is complicated but in all families we have that someone that you kinda hate but not really i guess.
I would love to see the reaction to Necrit's mmo videos. There's that first one but he made a couple other ones too. There's one about mounts and stuff or the raid boss one that are filled with cool lore bits.

This cinematic ending (kaisa) follows into that bel veth cinematic its literally when she lands in the void. Kassadin is her father he travelled around places like zaun/piltover etc and got things like his helmet to help him breathe and theres a theory (not confirmed) that his weapon is the other gauntlet (glove) worn by a powerful mage from Icathia, Ezreal has 1 of them and the 2nd one went missing supposedly kassadin found it and travelled into the void to look for kaisa but he never found her. he got somewhat corrupted by the void but i believe is still himself to some extend (isnt a bad guy) also the "comet" that hit pantheon is indicated to be Aurelion Sol, hes the closest thing to a god hes a cosmic dragon that literally created stars, planets and runeterra itself bcuz he liked his little glowy stars and didnt expect life to live on the planets. he visted it from time to time and eventually got enslaved by Targon, due to Pantheon (asol HATES him) and recently the hold/grip targon has on aurelion is weakening and hes slowly fighting back to take control of himself. About the "god" part there are celestials which would also suggest to be gods (similar to how greek/roman/egyptians) had multiple gods, but im not too sure if Asol was first or other celestial beings where first e.g. zoe/pantheon etc. considering he himself created the sun/planets/stars within the "runeterra" solar system (and beyond but lets keep it simple)
Fun fact, you mentioned that there’s the storie that happens directly before this cinematic (Kai’Sa’s and Taliyah’s) and Kai’Sa and Bel’Veth’s story happens directly after their video, which happens directly after The Call. Well there’s also two more stories that happen before Pantheon’s and Sejuani’s + Olaf’s cutscenes. I think that’s part of the reason I love The Call so much; it feels super connected to the lore, so much so that (if you don’t count the whole Ruination saga) it’s the only cinematic that is directly continuing on from other stories.
In November there will be the worlds finals, with Arcane season 1 they drop out the intro song(Enemy) before the final. So be ready because in a few weeks they will release the world's song, and on November 2(the worlds final day), there will be for sure another song plus arcane news and the arcane season 2 intro song. People still dont know yet the artist for the 2024 worlds anthem.
If you haven't watched it already, Necrit has a very interesting video called How Old are Champions According to Lore, it's quite funny and he spent a ton of time researching to figure out every character's age.
I'll recommend u see or investigate more about the lore of Freljord is so crazy and fascinating, maybe u like it 🙌 , I love so much Freljord champions, after that u can see the last cinematic "Still Here - Season 2024" the animations and lore was buaaaa amazing and crazy
This one of the best cinematic from them (I am not a League player just Arcane Fan). But I read all short story related to this cinematic and God it's so good. I really love the Kai'sa Taliyah short story. Already love Kai'sa before but this cinematic make me love her more
Can't wait to see your reaction to "Still Here". If you end up watching it I highly recommend watching Necrit's brakedown/explanation of the cinematic, even just for yourself not for the channel. It's really good and explains everything in great detail in a very digestible way for people who don't know every piece of LoL lore
The guy with the helmet is pantheon, He was possessed by the aspect of war, and while fighting a darkin, the aspect in him died, freeing him, now he uses the aspects weapons and power through willpower, and wants to kill gods as they are cowardly and didn't help his people when they needed them.
Just to be clear 0:50 Necrit did around 5 videos on the MMO worth checking out because previously those were mere speculations but now there is evidence that those videos could be fully canon.
There is actually 3-4 more videos of Necrit about the MMO so you can watch those, in general Necrit if a GOD explaining lore so reacting to his entire channel will still be good content
The polar bears in the video are not Volibear, they are worshipers of volibear that can invoke a bit of his powers, when the polar bear first scream and a polar bear appears in the clouds, that represents volibear
Spot on about the paradise Kai'Sa and Taliyah were looking for! The place they arrive at in this cinematic is Xolan, the place they were looking for. But, as we can see, it is no longer a paradise. Very excited to hear you read Hollowspun, it's one of the best short stories IMO. Pantheon and Leona are fighting because Pantheon was once an Aspect, but Aatrox killed the celestial being inside him, leaving him as just a mortal. His goal is to defend humanity from any and all beings that seek to destroy or control them. It's not clear exactly why he ascended Mount Targon here, but my theory is that he believes the celestials are controlling humanity and wants to set them free. Leona, being the Aspect of the Sun, has a great interest in protecting the celestials.
If it interests you at all you should check out character voicelines, they shed a lot of light on characters history's and personalities. Couple recommendations would be Kindred, Aatrox, Pantheon, Fiddlesticks, and there is a ton more!
I’m 100% ok with you doing a second reaction to Necrit’s lore video, I think it’ll help having learnt and seen a bunch more characters now, and I don’t care if you pause the video to share your thoughts throughout.

At the start, he is Ornn with a big horns who is forging weapon. He is one of Freljord gods. He doesn't craft weapon unless there is not something big. You can see his story more detailed on his page. I can't remember all of it, sorry for that.

You should absolutely look into Pantheon's story. It's the best storyline of all champions in my opinion. What he is, what he's been through, and what he become by pure willpower. (need to reach top of mount Targon to ascend ? Let me ascend on pure will and power). And more globaly look at the story of the aspects, they are incarnation of nature and of concepts, mortals infused with powers. Leona is the aspect of the Sun, Pantheon is the aspect of War, etc etc. The smith is Ornn, a primordial god who had sworn not to forge anymore weapons since the last wars of his brothers, but he's now relentedly started forging weapons again, because of the times Runeterra is going though Also, the half polar bear character is an ursine preist, following the primordial bear god of thunder Volibear, not Volibear himself
If you've already seen necrit's video about riot's mmo. Maybe try to react to his other videos about it, like raid bosses, races, items, etc. If you never seen some of it. He explained more about some lores in runeterra.

I was waiting for this, a week without LoL stuff :( I like these kind of reactions. You are not just watching and closing it like most of the reactors. You are checking the background and the champions included. That's why i am here and probably most of the other followers. I hope you'll get attention you deserve. :) I think the editor mentioned but In the video you see Ursines the followers of Volibear. You can see Volibear in video only as silhouette in the clouds. Real size of him. And yeah he is cool af. Also Necrit's "How Powerful Are Champions According to Lore?" video is also good info about champions and their power level. ( I know you already mentioned but still wanted to tell)
Kinda crazy if you think about it, any fking character in this animation would be in a whole different class of strong, making arcane look so miniscule in terms of power
Ornn, Volibear and Anivia are 3 brothers/sisters of Freiljord's demi gods.. Also At that cinematic, those polar bears were not Volibear.. They're just Volibear's soldiers..Volibear bestowed his image on his followers.. The Real terrifying demi god Volibear was on the sky while that Polar Bear raises his arms with lightening.. Did you see the real Volibear's image at the sky at that scene? :)) Amazing and terrifying
The story of the spartan looking guy, who is called Pantheon will make you rethink your entire opinion on Leona and the other Targonian Aspects. Basically when someone climbs Targon, their reward is effectively the Targonian Aspect completely taking over the body of the one who made the climb. Effectively sealing away who they were, Atreus was the climber, and Pantheon was the Aspect of War. The reason why he is still called Pantheon, is because Pantheon fought Aatrox, and the god died, but the man lived, and Atreus now has the powers of the Aspect of War. This "usurping" of the personality of the host, is merely one of the reasons why Atreus hates the Aspects. However, since he is effectively a man with the abilities of a god, and a god of war at that, there are a lot of cool story elements they expand on there. Also the one shooting the comets in that scene is a champion called Aurelion Sol, he effectively creates the Stars of the universe of Runeterra, but he was enslaved by the Targonian Aspects to be used as a weapon in their war against the Void pretty much. The "power of his mortality" which is said in the slide your editor showed you is more his endurance and the perspective of a mortal, while magically and physically he is very much on equal footing to the Targonian Aspects. Which I think is sort of ironic, as the Celestials wanted to create soldiers which could use their power to fight against the Void, with Shurima and their "God Warriors", and the one person who embodies what they were *trying* to do best is now Atreus, who only became like that because "the god died, but the man lived". Atreus' story is a really good one, and I love the themes of Mortality within it, and what does it mean to be so. Ornn and Volibear are actually brothers, and they absolutely hate eachother, they even had a war going on between eachother long ago. The polarbears you saw in the cinematic are actually Volibear's followers and not Volibear, Volibear was the projection in the sky when they roared, that was how big he was. Also, Volibears followers used to be Human and were twisted into beastial forms in their following of him, as Volibear is the demi-god of storms and savagery, while Ornn is the demi-god of the forge.

Also: Volibear and Ornn are demi gods and brothers! The ursine (the polarbear person you saw in the cinematic chanting the thunder) are followers/worshippers of Volibear that was only referenced in the cloud shape.
In ascending mount targon one must face the aspects - Pantheon is only the title of "the aspect of war" - his current mortal name is Artreus. He is fighting Leona, the aspect of the sun who is protecting the gate that you see in the background for ascention of mount targon. The shots bringing pantheon down from mount targon in tne cinematic are heavily speculated to be aurelion sol's- the celestrial dragon that was tricked by the targonians to wear a crown that bounds him to this world of runeterra - they hope that he helps in destroying the void holes.

That Kaisa and Taliyah story is beautiful. Especially when you read the story, Taliyah teaches Kaisa how to care for others, and Kaisa teaches Taliyah that she needs to learn the pain of sacrifice. And they both do it in this cinematic.
A little context about Pantheon(the 300 guy/spartan). This takes place after the Ruinination cinematic. After Viego took his body, Pantheon's will was shattered. So to regain his confidence/will/purpose he climbed Mt. Targon again for the third time i believe. First was when he climbed to become the host of Aspect of war, second was when Veigo took over his body, and this one is the third.

@@RaySprk Bullsht. Celestials are immortal. Until someone stronger than him appears, he is chilling. Also, Kindred's powers do not reach celestial beings. They are just 2 of a dozen of death spirits that operate only on Runterra. If Aurelion sol chose to destroy Runterra, Kindred will disappear. If there is no one to believe in them, they are gone.
The red wookie is Ornn, God of the Forge. The few scenes where he is making a sword is significant because Ornn hasn’t forged a weapons in over a thousand years. The making of a weapon is a sign that war is coming.
The ice place is Freljord. The lady on the boar (Bristle) is Sejuani. She is leading her small group of warriors (including Olaf, the dude who head butt the ice) against the Ursine (the polar bear dudes). Sejuani is part of a much larger group, but they are scattered into many smaller groups to make survival easier (less mouths to feed logic). The Ursine are followers of a god named Volibear (The bear in the clouds). The Ursine are men who can transform into bears and use lightning because they worship Volibear. They stole a cauldron from Ornn that allows any mortal to go a year without food if they drink from it. (Ornn and Volibear are brothers, but they don’t like eachother). The Ursine stole the cauldron because Volibear believes it makes men weak. (Man needs to be fighting constantly to stay strong logic).
The desert area is a region of Shurima. Taliyah (the earthbending lady) and Kai’sa (purple girl) have teamed up recently to fight the Xer’sai (small(er) tunneling monsters from the Void). The Xer’sai are children of the big creature, Rek’sai. In the end, Kai’sa sacrifices herself (not in a dying way but like a freedom way) by leading Rek’sai back to the void while Taliyah seals the tunnel. Taliyah is all about protecting people and Kai’sa is all about fighting void monsters. Kai’sa’s suit is actually a living creature that created a symbiotic relationship with Kai’sa (think venom). Kai’sa was a normal human girl, but she got trapped in the void at a young age and had to fight for survival while miraculously keeping her hair, skin, and makeup beautiful.
The spartan is Pantheon but also has the human name Atreus. (I’m a bit iffy on this side of the lore). Pantheon is a man that was possessed/gained the power of the aspect of war, but the aspect of war died and gave Pantheon his humanity back (or something like that). He is climbing Mount Targon which is like a magical mountain that the celestials and aspects (basically gods) reside. Few mortals are able to reach the top of Mount Targon. Those that do are granted great power. (Reason pantheon god the power of the aspect of war.) The men he encounters by the portal are the solari. They are men who worship the sun. Pantheon drives his spear into the ground because he does not have any quarrel with humans. Pantheon hates the celestials and aspects which is why he is ascending the mountain to fight them. He beats the shit out of the men, but he doesn’t kill them because his fight is with the aspects. The gold lady, Leona appears from the portal to fight Pantheon. (The look he gives her is him being glad he’s finally found the opponent he’s been looking for). Leona is the aspect of the sun and leader of the solari. During the fight, Pantheon is blasted by a giant laser, which is theorized to be a falling star from a being named Aurelion Sol. He is a giant space that created the universe and likely the final boss opponent for Pantheon. The final bit of Pantheon’s part of the video, he is using his god powers to jump back to the top of the mountain which is his ultimate in the game where he can jump halfway across the map and come crashing down on his enemies.

@@MeeshDeeReacts Kaisa's father would be Kassadin the voidwalker. I believe he went to the void to find his wife and daughter. Swain has an interaction with Kassadin telling him rumors about a girl coming back from the void.
What I like about Kaisa's backstory is that she wasn't special from the outset. She wasn't called or a chosen one or even trained. She's a survivor that turned the powers of the void to her advantage.

The Void is so immense and powerful and she as a normal child managed to survive essentially the end of the existence without anything happening to her
Meanwhile Kassadin and Malzahar have only seen the Void and got corrupted. One's mind is beyond repair and the other one needs some aparatus to breathe, like Darth Vader, how much the Void broken his body
And Kai'Sa gets a nanosuit and becomes a high fashion model

- After Pantheon was corrupted in the Ruination event, he went to Mount Targon to find his true self.
- Kai'sa's story will lead to what happened in "All that will ever be" that you have seen. The end of that clash is Bel'veth asking Kai'sa to go north to learn about the Watchers and help her destroy them.
- Sejuani went to that mountain to find the magical cauldron that can help a person eat it once to live for many winters, which was originally Ornn's but was stolen by the Volibear army.
- The statue with the slashed face is Xolaani, and she is a very well-built character in the game Legends of Runeterra.

Yay, glad to have this finally drop! I LOVE Still Here but I think this may be my favorite of the ones Riot has made so far. Leona has been one of my favorite champions for a LONG time, and ever since Kai'sa hit the scene I've been pretty infatuated with her as well. So having both of my favorite ladies featured in one of the most gorgeous LoL cinematics so far? It makes me quite happy lol.
I'm sad to see the run of cinematics nearing its end (at least as far as what they've made so far, I'm sure there'll be more bangers to come), but it's been great to get to hang out while you guys experience them. I love the enthusiasm you two have for this stuff, it's really fun to see people discover the crazy, rich world of LoL but I think you guys have been the most engrossed and interested of anyone I've seen do the big Reaction Run of all the LoL content out there. It always feels warm and cozy when i see new people exploring the world of runeterra, as a very old league player, lore enthusiast and story writter is nice to see people blown away with the cinematics and theorize who this champions are and what is their place in the world wheter if they're wrong or right with those theories. Riot really created something worth exploring and that unites people in a really cool way

Xolaani is a extremely interesting, cool, important and dangerous character imo but unfortunately she is only playable in the League card game (for now), where she has voice lines and had a full on saga revolving around her, i definitely recommend watching a video about her story.

Hairy lava man is a guy named Ornn, God of the forge. he has sworn (and when a god makes an oath, it's basically unbreakable) to never forge another weapon unless the world itself is in imminent danger.
Ice lady with the pig is Sejuani, leader of one of the 3 major (human) tribes of the freljord (ice place), the other 2 major tribes being led by her sisters, Ashe and Lissandra (they hate each other, don't ask) Cool Viking guy who throws the axe is olaf, he's on a suicide quest to die in glorious combat because a Seer said he'd die peacefully in his sleep in bed when he was old.
The bears are the children of Volibear, storm god (popped up in the clouds briefly), Both Ornn and Volibear are siblings who had a major battle years ago and don't like each other. As stated above, because of how vicious their battle was, Ornn vowed to never forge another weapon again unless he was able to predict a realm ending event happening soon.
moving on the Spartan guy, that's pantheon (technically he's a dude possessed by pantheon) and is the god of war, not to be confused with Kratos. he's climbing mount targon (basically mount Olympus) because he hates the other gods, Leona, the sun god pops down to dual him for a bit, then Aurelion Sol (basically the god of anything between this particular solar system to the entire universe, not particularly descriptive, but he's a big space dragon) knocks pantheon off the mountain(technically Sol doesn't like anybody related to Mount Targon, but he was tricked by their rulers and they chained him thus they control him and his powers), causing our boi to lean into his god powers to yeet back up to finish his beef with the gods.
Sand place (Shurima) has Taliyah, The earthbender, helping Kai'sa (sexy mutant suit lady) fight the children of Rek'sai (the big monster from the hole) to lure rek'sai out so that Kai'sa can hop into the void to do things and such, meanwhile Taliyah stays behind to seal the hole once kai'sa is in. this is likely the thing leading into future story development, so we don't know a lot of the "whys" yet. Kais'sa and Taliyah for context are both from the land of Shruima which long ago was sucked up by the "Void" Kais'a herself was sucked up when her village went under as a child and she only survived because she decided to go further into the Void, thus she found a piece of the void and it's molded to her body. She eventually escaped the void and has vowed to protect all other realms from the void trying to suck up everything. Basically, the void wants to devour everything it touches.
Small correction Pantheon, Aurelion Sol and Leona aren't Gods. Pantheon is The Aspect of War, Aurelion Sol is essentially the galaxy incarnate and Leona / Diana are the Aspects of The Sun and Moon respectively.
Good summary but I just want to correct you on one thing.
The spartan guy, Atreus, was possesed by Pantheon(The aspect of war) until he met Aatrox (One of the Darkin, you guys have already seen him in another cinematic) and got killed by him. Aatreus somehow survived their encounter with Aatrox but retained Pantheons power (which is also why he has that huge scar on his chest) and has sworn to face and destroy the gods for destroying the lives of countless humans.
And that's why Pantheon is one of the coolest champions. He survived when a god did not, just because of his mortal will. And decided to become a shield and sword for humanity to fight against the gods. He's the best
And also some correction, that Seju, Ashe and Lissandra are not sisters.
Seju and Ashe know each others since childhood but not sisters and Lissandra is waaay older and she had 2 very important sisters who now dead.

I love that you're both getting so into the lore that your assumptions about Champions you've never seen, just based on what you know about the world, are super solid. Volibear might not be Vastayan, but even knowing that's where most of the animal-like Champions fall is huge. And recognizing Champions after having only seen alternate skin versions of them? (Ruined Pantheon) We love to see it. :-)
The Call is awesome. The song especially... but yeah, Still Here is really the one I'm most looking forward to right now! I'm glad that you've made your way through a lot of the amazing League content! I've never played the game, and I never will, but I absolutely love their music and cinematics because of how emotionally powerful they are.

Fun fact: Volibear's appearence is most likely to be the one in the Coven skin, but his main skin is how he is represented by Freljordians, just one of his different forms that he uses. The people responsible for his redesign stated that they made that design first but Riot tought it wouldn not go well with the public or something like that, so they reimagined it to be a Coven skin and made the main redesign as we know today. In one of the stories shared in LoL website they described volibear almost exactly as how he is portraid in that Coven skin
i loved that they put the demi gods brothers in this cinematic, volibear and orn relationship is complicated but in all families we have that someone that you kinda hate but not really i guess.
I would love to see the reaction to Necrit's mmo videos. There's that first one but he made a couple other ones too. There's one about mounts and stuff or the raid boss one that are filled with cool lore bits.

This cinematic ending (kaisa) follows into that bel veth cinematic its literally when she lands in the void. Kassadin is her father he travelled around places like zaun/piltover etc and got things like his helmet to help him breathe and theres a theory (not confirmed) that his weapon is the other gauntlet (glove) worn by a powerful mage from Icathia, Ezreal has 1 of them and the 2nd one went missing supposedly kassadin found it and travelled into the void to look for kaisa but he never found her. he got somewhat corrupted by the void but i believe is still himself to some extend (isnt a bad guy)
also the "comet" that hit pantheon is indicated to be Aurelion Sol, hes the closest thing to a god hes a cosmic dragon that literally created stars, planets and runeterra itself bcuz he liked his little glowy stars and didnt expect life to live on the planets. he visted it from time to time and eventually got enslaved by Targon, due to Pantheon (asol HATES him) and recently the hold/grip targon has on aurelion is weakening and hes slowly fighting back to take control of himself. About the "god" part there are celestials which would also suggest to be gods (similar to how greek/roman/egyptians) had multiple gods, but im not too sure if Asol was first or other celestial beings where first e.g. zoe/pantheon etc. considering he himself created the sun/planets/stars within the "runeterra" solar system (and beyond but lets keep it simple)

Necrit's power level of all champions is great as a reaction video and it has a lot of important informations about all the champions.
Fun fact, you mentioned that there’s the storie that happens directly before this cinematic (Kai’Sa’s and Taliyah’s) and Kai’Sa and Bel’Veth’s story happens directly after their video, which happens directly after The Call.
Well there’s also two more stories that happen before Pantheon’s and Sejuani’s + Olaf’s cutscenes.
I think that’s part of the reason I love The Call so much; it feels super connected to the lore, so much so that (if you don’t count the whole Ruination saga) it’s the only cinematic that is directly continuing on from other stories.

So be ready because in a few weeks they will release the world's song, and on November 2(the worlds final day), there will be for sure another song plus arcane news and the arcane season 2 intro song. People still dont know yet the artist for the 2024 worlds anthem.

the bear in the shadow is a god while the one we see in the scene is his follower - this god is who they’re truly facing.
The guy with the helmet is pantheon, He was possessed by the aspect of war, and while fighting a darkin, the aspect in him died, freeing him, now he uses the aspects weapons and power through willpower, and wants to kill gods as they are cowardly and didn't help his people when they needed them.
Dang I would watch a whole movie of that with that quality.

Spot on about the paradise Kai'Sa and Taliyah were looking for! The place they arrive at in this cinematic is Xolan, the place they were looking for. But, as we can see, it is no longer a paradise. Very excited to hear you read Hollowspun, it's one of the best short stories IMO.
Pantheon and Leona are fighting because Pantheon was once an Aspect, but Aatrox killed the celestial being inside him, leaving him as just a mortal. His goal is to defend humanity from any and all beings that seek to destroy or control them. It's not clear exactly why he ascended Mount Targon here, but my theory is that he believes the celestials are controlling humanity and wants to set them free. Leona, being the Aspect of the Sun, has a great interest in protecting the celestials.

At the start, he is Ornn with a big horns who is forging weapon. He is one of Freljord gods. He doesn't craft weapon unless there is not something big. You can see his story more detailed on his page. I can't remember all of it, sorry for that.

You should absolutely look into Pantheon's story. It's the best storyline of all champions in my opinion. What he is, what he's been through, and what he become by pure willpower. (need to reach top of mount Targon to ascend ? Let me ascend on pure will and power). And more globaly look at the story of the aspects, they are incarnation of nature and of concepts, mortals infused with powers. Leona is the aspect of the Sun, Pantheon is the aspect of War, etc etc.
The smith is Ornn, a primordial god who had sworn not to forge anymore weapons since the last wars of his brothers, but he's now relentedly started forging weapons again, because of the times Runeterra is going though
Also, the half polar bear character is an ursine preist, following the primordial bear god of thunder Volibear, not Volibear himself
If you've already seen necrit's video about riot's mmo. Maybe try to react to his other videos about it, like raid bosses, races, items, etc. If you never seen some of it. He explained more about some lores in runeterra.
Honestly would still love any Necrit video reaction. you guys seem so excited for the world of runterra, i really think Nexpcrit will satisfy that.

I think the editor mentioned but In the video you see Ursines the followers of Volibear. You can see Volibear in video only as silhouette in the clouds. Real size of him. And yeah he is cool af.
Also Necrit's "How Powerful Are Champions According to Lore?" video is also good info about champions and their power level. ( I know you already mentioned but still wanted to tell)

Ornn, Volibear and Anivia are 3 brothers/sisters of Freiljord's demi gods.. Also At that cinematic, those polar bears were not Volibear.. They're just Volibear's soldiers..Volibear bestowed his image on his followers.. The Real terrifying demi god Volibear was on the sky while that Polar Bear raises his arms with lightening.. Did you see the real Volibear's image at the sky at that scene? :)) Amazing and terrifying
The story of the spartan looking guy, who is called Pantheon will make you rethink your entire opinion on Leona and the other Targonian Aspects. Basically when someone climbs Targon, their reward is effectively the Targonian Aspect completely taking over the body of the one who made the climb. Effectively sealing away who they were, Atreus was the climber, and Pantheon was the Aspect of War. The reason why he is still called Pantheon, is because Pantheon fought Aatrox, and the god died, but the man lived, and Atreus now has the powers of the Aspect of War. This "usurping" of the personality of the host, is merely one of the reasons why Atreus hates the Aspects. However, since he is effectively a man with the abilities of a god, and a god of war at that, there are a lot of cool story elements they expand on there. Also the one shooting the comets in that scene is a champion called Aurelion Sol, he effectively creates the Stars of the universe of Runeterra, but he was enslaved by the Targonian Aspects to be used as a weapon in their war against the Void pretty much. The "power of his mortality" which is said in the slide your editor showed you is more his endurance and the perspective of a mortal, while magically and physically he is very much on equal footing to the Targonian Aspects. Which I think is sort of ironic, as the Celestials wanted to create soldiers which could use their power to fight against the Void, with Shurima and their "God Warriors", and the one person who embodies what they were *trying* to do best is now Atreus, who only became like that because "the god died, but the man lived". Atreus' story is a really good one, and I love the themes of Mortality within it, and what does it mean to be so.
Ornn and Volibear are actually brothers, and they absolutely hate eachother, they even had a war going on between eachother long ago. The polarbears you saw in the cinematic are actually Volibear's followers and not Volibear, Volibear was the projection in the sky when they roared, that was how big he was. Also, Volibears followers used to be Human and were twisted into beastial forms in their following of him, as Volibear is the demi-god of storms and savagery, while Ornn is the demi-god of the forge.
