Another train ride into the past. Always interesting to see and understand what the announcers are saying. Thank you for this day’s ride. 👍🙂🇺🇸

Glad you like it, some more Swiss this month then maybe unseen British footage coming soon.

A lovely nostalgic video - we used to holiday in Brienz, three years running, from 1963. It's a beautiful area, and quieter than Interlaken!

Yes still popular but not so overcrowded as some summertime Swiss stations.

As always quite a fascinating view into the past
Do you have a few more seconds of the train at 1:00? I can't quite place the freight car behind the railcar. It almost looks like a container car
1:33 the rackrail is actually enough to keep the railcars on the track by itself. The last Bhe 1/2, delivered in 1961 and the new Bhe 2/2 from 2022 got rid of them
As last weeks video was on the VRB, I was kinda hoping the ARB would get the chance this week.
Do you have video of it? The ARB in 1958 is quite more interesting compared to the VRB, as the later looked quite the same until two years ago

Thanks for your expertise and suggestions. I checked the original cine, it cut at same frame as this edited video... Impressive, that gradient seems significant... I've not found any ARB yet, but still a lot of reels to rediscover in the archive, so fingers crossed! Next is BRB.
