I've often thought about making an animated series parodying the stupidity of the 90s called Da X-treme Kidz. But then I learned that Rocket Power already exists.
People very often misinterpret that anti-drug commercial by Lou Albano. Justifiably so because the order of words was a very poorly strategized. I was shocked the the first time I watched it, thinking that he says "And if you do drugs, you go to hell when you die,"_ but if you pay attention, you'll notice that what he actually says is, _"if you do drugs, you go to hell *before* you die." Although still a dumb choice of words, the message suggests that drugs will put you through hell and kill you, not that you'll go to actual hell if you do them.

That goofy face with the chin moved somewhat to the side, mouth wide open and the almost jumping eyes. Donkey made it first, but every Dreamworks movie has at least one character that does it.

I can't get over the fact that in the intro of the Mario show, Mario says "hey, paisanos!", when "paisanos" is a Spanish word and he's supposed to be Italian.
I think he was meant to say "Paesani" which is the plural form of "Paesano" (A "country person" in Italian) but ended up saying "Paesanos" even though we only change one vocal, not adding.

If you want a bad "trendy" cartoon, the CN MAD series is right up your alley. That show was basically Robot Chicken for kids but it tried *WAY* too hard to be hip by having half-assed parodies of relevant (at the time) things.

As someone who has a soft spot for Loonatics: it's not a bad concept, but plagued with bad marketing and execution. As I've said in every recent Loonatics upload, if they branched out and not compare the characters with Looney Tunes (as in set equal expectations for their "ancestors"), this could be a unique venture outside the expected superhero zeitgeist.
I agree, it never NEVER should have been advertised nor seen as a replacement, ironically that sentiment is also what killed the Looney Tunes show. As its own is a pretty good action cartoon, like the characters are likeable and has a pretty consistent world/lore
Dan Jimiez one can argue that yugioh is an actual game with rules, that can actually be fun for kids in practice while with bayblade they just spin for 3 seconds (not fun in practice)

With the chipmunks it does make sense, because in their 50s 60s and 80s versions of the cartoon, they did squeaky covers of popular songs during those times. So the 00s chipmunks squeakily cover popular songs of that time. It's just what they've always done.

I do not get why people hate the first Goofy movie, Max being "hip" to relate to the younger audience actually works for the story because its a father and son relationship, so they misunderstand eachother a lot like a lot of other father son relationships. An Extremely Goofy Movie however is just not as funny and annoying.

Rocket Power! Damn I hated that show when I was a kid and even more now after re-watching the series. I get so much shit on social media whenever I point out how stupid this show was, probably cause they're all stuck in nostalgia. Anyways, my main reasons I found Rocket Power to suck was... 1) Rocket Power tried to hard to be cool and edgy even though they were already outdated. 2) Everyone in that show was an idiot, except for Reggie. 3) Otto was one of the worst characters ever created by Nick.

Outdated, too many idiots and Otto Rocket. 70% of the episodes is Otto doing something really stupid and disobeying Ray or the law with him dragging Reggie, Sam or Twister down with him. Then Ray finds out and only gets a slap on the wrist. Now every single episode wasn't bad but most of them were and Otto as I said before might be the worst character Nick has ever made.

I hated Otto when I went back & watched it, but I don't know if he was one of the worst characters Nickelodeon has ever created (just because Nick has had so many bad shows & characters just in the past 5-10 years). I like to think of Rocket Power as the bad version of The Weekenders. Roughly the same formula, made at roughly the same time, but one of them was much better than the other.

As someone who has a soft spot for Loonatics: it's not a bad concept, but plagued with bad marketing and execution. As I've said in every recent Loonatics upload, if they branched out and not compare the characters with Looney Tunes (as in set equal expectations for their "ancestors"), this could be a unique venture outside the expected superhero zeitgeist.
I agree, it never NEVER should have been advertised nor seen as a replacement, ironically that sentiment is also what killed the Looney Tunes show.
As its own is a pretty good action cartoon, like the characters are likeable and has a pretty consistent world/lore

Rocket Power! Damn I hated that show when I was a kid and even more now after re-watching the series. I get so much shit on social media whenever I point out how stupid this show was, probably cause they're all stuck in nostalgia.
Anyways, my main reasons I found Rocket Power to suck was...
1) Rocket Power tried to hard to be cool and edgy even though they were already outdated.
2) Everyone in that show was an idiot, except for Reggie.

Outdated, too many idiots and Otto Rocket. 70% of the episodes is Otto doing something really stupid and disobeying Ray or the law with him dragging Reggie, Sam or Twister down with him. Then Ray finds out and only gets a slap on the wrist.
Now every single episode wasn't bad but most of them were and Otto as I said before might be the worst character Nick has ever made.

I like to think of Rocket Power as the bad version of The Weekenders. Roughly the same formula, made at roughly the same time, but one of them was much better than the other.
