thanks for the hit. I am going to share on my old partners Zeaks painting site. We ran the spray shop at his dads paint shop he continued for 35 years or so and he is bad ass.
I really appreciate you mentioning how difficult a good even scroll line is to make, especially consistently. I honestly thought it was just me. Great video as always bud, keep up the great work!
Hello again pinstriping Master! LOL. I'm continuing to play with different paint consistency especially. Seems like it's either too thick and globs on the brush, or too thin and the brush wipes the middle of the stripe out. Your stripes lay down super nice and look totally solid. I'm using the alphanamel, not the 1shot. Do you find a difference? Thx again Jeff
It's not always the case. It might look that way on camera but their is always going to be lines that have to be passed over twice.... Always. Reducing the paint to a correct consistency is key and understand when your paint needs to be reloaded is the second part of the equation. All comes with time and much much practice.
hey hopefully you just saw your numbers kick up a notch. the new rule sucks this channel is already rocking the numbers. but my others are lacking subscribers.
For re use I like to buy the big frames from Walmart. They have glass that can be re used over and over. Just put some black paper behind the glass and your good to go.
Hey villa pinstriping, what brush do you prefer for the most controle or what is defferent in the controle for example the one in this video or a short brush like the von dago mini sabre. Thanks man
michaela2b Well I've never used the Mini Saber but I do have one of his "liner" brushes made with the same hair as the "mini" saber. Control of any single brush is 100% depending on the preference and skill level of the person. The differences you will find in the pinstriping brushes are fairly extensive (handle size and material, hair quality, hair material, hair size, ect..) The brush I'm using is natural hair, so it's a little softer than synthetic hair usually. The Dago uses synthetic hair witch is a tiny bit stiffer... And shorter. Both are high quality brushes, I just prefer this one... Completely personal preference.
villa pinstriping ok thanks villa. I find it really hard die scrolling but i am going to practice it again soon. I am more of a sword brush persone. I always love your panels on pinstripes garage
Thanks so much for the compliment. I found them at a yard sale. Unfortunately I do not know where to find more :( I don't even really know what they are exactly
hello friend i also do this kind of work i'm from brazil, a city called sorocaba in the state of são paulo i wanted to see if you would not send the press of brushes of letters and fillets like the one you are using you could do this favor to see for me i would be forever grateful here there are no easy stores that sell these types of brushes give me a return since already thank you i'm luiz marcos joaquim
I still have it, still use it. That's why it's so important to clean and oil. Note: This is NOT the same as what costom shop is selling these days. This is a costom shop "Black Magic" from about 5 years ago.
random videos I actually need to hit 1000 before Feb 20th to monitize.. it's a new rule. I'm definitely trying to hit it. Please tell your friend and family to subscribe! I'd really appreciate it
yea me too I have 3 channels and only 1 meets guidlines. subscribed just now trying to help other painters. I will hit you with 2 other accounts. but it is all me.
Here is my other channel. you have good stuff Like how your teaching striping. I havent striped in years and havent put anything on any of my channels YET. but it is coming. One of my first jobs was sign painting, custom paint and pinstripe shop. I was the spray shop guy.
I'd like to see someone stripe 3 straight parallel lines of equal width on the side of a vehicle, not this curly q sitting down crap. Stripe is a line, and few do it well.
@@villapinstriping Don't need to find a video. I saw my friend, Louie Check (Lil' Louie) do it on a BMW. It was the M logo colors process blue, brilliant blue, and fire red. I've not seen it rivaled in 40 years! He was in Berdoo, Cali. Moved to Tennessee.
Just starting at almost 60, you are a great instructor, thank you for sharing your talent. Follow you on IG as well.
Thanks So much Joe!
Thanks for filling the gap at the end. That was bugging me.Great simple lesson.Really gives something to build on!

So soothing to watch. I don't even pinstripe but it's beautiful!👍
Thanks a lot I really appreciate it!
I just started tonight and practiced straight lines pulling down. Thanks for all your videos, very informative.

@@villapinstriping ok. is mineral spirits your reducer of choice, or do you use something else?
Yes. Clear mineral spirits. Kleen strip brand is what's usually available for me

Are you turning the brush between your fingers as you do the scroll.
Nope. The brush doesn't spin. It stays in the same spot between my fingers the whole time
Been waiting on another one of these videos good stuff homie very inspirational.

michaela2b everyone is different bro. Most people like old school better than scroll anyway to be honest. Scroll isn't quite as popular
villa pinstriping yeah ok but is very Nice to see:D
Great scroll man. Keep it up. Soul love to win one of the three pieces you are giving away at 3K subscribers.🤘🤘

Hello Luiz. I'm sorry but I don't understand what you are asking me for sir.
Words rubbed off throughout the years you say? No way that brush has lasted years if you use it very often at all. They last weeks
I still have it, still use it. That's why it's so important to clean and oil.
Note: This is NOT the same as what costom shop is selling these days. This is a costom shop "Black Magic" from about 5 years ago.
Open lines? Everyone says don't leave open lines, this beginner is perplexed lol
It's a general rule of thumb. Kinda doesn't apply at all with Scrolling
Lines that go from Thick to Thin are a way around creating an Arrow
