    I love that you keep it simple for us newbies and you down showoff your best work when helping others learn this art. The showoff stuff is very discouraging. Thank you for your help

    I find these less complex designs helpful in that I can follow them even after they are completed.
    I lose track on some complicated designs and end up not being able to figure them out.
    Keep it up young man.

    I know this is an older video, but I’m curious, some have said that glass is hard to start with as it has no tack. Did you start on glass or what is best to practice on daily for newbies?

    • @villapinstriping
      @villapinstriping  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I did start on glass. And I still feel that's the best thing to start with because it's reusable. In the end you want to practice on all surfaces possible. But glass is reusable

    • @villapinstriping
      @villapinstriping  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I do use them sometimes but I never got really comfortable with them. I wish that I stuck with the sword to be completely honest. But now I'm used to using the strollers so I picked them up generally for design work

    • @villapinstriping
      @villapinstriping  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@bee2333 well sword brushes are best for old school traditional designs, and long straight lines. Scrolling brushes are best for loops and scrolls. But in the end everything about this becomes personal preference.

Also how to keep from smoudgeing your workwhile pulling a line? one more thing why after paleting why does my brush get fat? Is it not deluded properly?

    So I know you like the kafka brushes. Do you like the short handles better than a longer handle?

    • @villapinstriping
      @villapinstriping  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I prefer LONG HANDLE, LONG HAIR.
      I have a brush that is discontinued a (custom shop black magic #3) that's pretty much like a long handle Kafka scroller. Unfortunately the only thing that's close to that is a Wizard Vortex but they are way to soft for me. I prefer mixed hair brushes

    • @villapinstriping
      @villapinstriping  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      But to be totally honest.. it's the hair type and long hair that prefer most. Handle is secondary.
