Best swim video yet. A lot clearer than your book. However how many lifeguard whistles do you get at the pool for deck ups? 😬

Thanks for the videos! I have my first 70.3 in 8 weeks! 😬 Any advice of how often/quantity to perform these drills? Every swim session? How many yards should we swim/drill? Thank you!!!

Taren - Have you figured out approx pace for each of the settings? I do know all three pumps full on with double turbo is 1:17 - 1:20 100 pace.

I was thinking of getting one of those endless pools are they ok for swimming in daily or no substitute for pool. They always felt hard to swim in some I’m wondering if it’s like a trainer a session, short, harder but highly beneficial.

Always been surprised that more people don't recommend fist swimming.

Fist swimming requires a great deal of mental presence and understanding of your body though. Many swimmers who say they can do 400m/y "effortlessly" might be overstating their ability. I personally considering fist swimming (I use a tennis ball to ensure I don't open my hand) really really really hard. But it also teaches how important the little shit matters.

Total Immersion actually used to sell fist gloves once upon a time.....

Lots of Snorkel work. My local pools don't allow Snorkels in un coached sessions. Any alternatives?

Show me a public pool where you can run a lap between sets and I'll show you a life guard not doing their job.

Yep, my lifeguard senses were twitching. "No running!"

That’s going to be common. I’d suggest climbing out and walking briskly to the other end of the pool. Also if/when you get a chance to do some open water swimming, then you can get out, run for 50-100m and dive back in.
