To be honest, many gamers aren't using the other pcie slots on their motherboards. They just have a graphics card in the top slot and that's it. This board isn't meant for those who use Thunderbolt cards, or PCIE capture cards, etc... It's for those who only game and nothing else.
@@hassanjrt.9475 The best performance you can get while capturing/streaming is to output from your gaming rig into a capture comp, then out to a monitor. Better gaming performance, new life for an old PC, no compromises, and no capture card.
Good motherboard but unfortunately appeared a little late. One can only hope that 870s for AMD with rear connections will appear soon. The appearance of cleanliness is outstanding. Thanks for your video
honestly hope sub-30L mATX cases start adding a few cm in width to support future smaller variations of these. unfortunate that we're currently forced to go ASUS B760 or take a loan out for the z790 BTF for a black version since the black Gigabyte Stealths are impossible to find (in the US)
Honestly, when it came out, I wanted it so bad that I researched where to buy it. I found I could use German Amazon (I live in the U.S.) to purchase it. I paid a little under 350 for it. Shipping and tax included I got it for 330. Great board, much more beautiful in person.
So I can see the development process. It's kitted out like a premium mATX model, but back connectors are only ATX. All that real estate at the bottom, but we don't even get a giant Gigabyte turkey logo. At least they tossed in that sweet vinyl fridge magnet.
I see mostly positive comments on the appearance. I'm a little twisted on this look. I thought the reason we all went with side panels on our PCs was because all of the little traces, chips, caps, and transistors looked cool on the computer parts. Shielding every last cm off? I mean... Looks clean. It isn't ugly. But it is less computery?
I asked a gigabyte rep on their support site, and they said that availability in the US will NOT be coming to this board! Insane! Haven't they seen the popularity of the design?
Tbh I was already not a big fan of mobos that had like 2 PCIe slots. I might be getting old (94') but I at least would like a second slot in case my main one goes to shit. Apart from that, if you get an ATX mobo you pretty much have to go with a bigger PC case and you're not getting the main positive of an ATX board - more PCIe slots. I could understand this trend on mATX because nowadays GPU's are absurdly thick so having 3 PCIe slots on mATX could be called pointless. But on ATX??? It's like ITX that's been stretched out so it doesn't look terrible in a big case. People don't use other PCIe slots until their onboard audio dies, or their wifi dies. It's about possibilities - if you have the space for an ATX case, then having 1 slot on the mobo is just waste.
I have had my eye on this for ages. Its always in stock on uk amazon but not always for the best price (its currently on sale for black friday). I like that there is only 1 pcie slot as i know ill never use more than 1, and they look ugly. I have just been waiting for the right case for it. I want to stick it in a white Phanteks NV9 MK II but god knows when that is coming.
How hard is it access the M.2 slots with a GPU installed. That my biggest pet peeve with the new boards. All that real estate and the can't make it easy to add or replace a m.2 drive.
I have a B550 board and a cheap one at that and it can add a thunderbolt card for fuck sakes. If you have PCIE bifurcation you can add an M.2 tray for 4 more SSDs. You could also have an internal capture card or second GPU for encoding. I have no problem with it being a 600 series board cause the 800 chipsets don't offer anything new they just guarantee USB 4 but 600 could have it anyway. Also it's good that it has Wi-Fi cause you literally couldn't add it later without a slow ass USB stick cause there is no PCIE expansion. x16 slots are used for a lot of stuff not to mention X8, X4, & X1. Also there are cheaper x870 boards that also have Wi-Fi 7 & USB 4 that have PCIE expansion for $100 less. This is not a price to performance board and is all about the looks and they really make you pay for it.
How useful is a reset button on the back of the mobo going to be? If you only get 1 PCI slot, you may as well just get an ITX board. You delete possibilities with only one slot.

Wait, there's stuff BESIDES GAMING? What is this nonsense of which you speak?
Capture card!? 🤷🏻♂️

Nah chief, for that price it better have it even if it’s not being used
I’ve never used any but the first one lol
Such a sick board. X870E version with 10gbe and im sold
Same
I do like that there are heatpipes that connect all the vrm heatsinks. That is pretty cool!
This is probably the best looking board I've ever seen. Stunning.
This board is better than all X870 boards
Yeah I agree that, with beautiful design and cheaper too

I purchased one the other day. It was readily available online in Australia.
this device is very beautiful
so looking forward to AORUS X870E Stealth ICE
even if its just a slight improvement

Really love the new intro

This is the dream motherboard for me!!
this has been in stock for £209 in the uk for months, the one thing that stopped me buying it was 1 type C on the back and I use 2.
I asked a gigabyte rep on their support site, and they said that availability in the US will NOT be coming to this board! Insane! Haven't they seen the popularity of the design?
Can you imagine how clean that would look with CAMM2 and an iGPU?
That would be spectacular in the ASUS ROG Hyperion GR701!!!
You are so lucky to get that board!!! So not jelly right now lol.
1 PCIe slot on an ATX motherboard is criminal behavior. Should've gotten an ITX.
That is disappointing. I would have to get a different wifi card.
That’s the motherboard I have been looking for but hard to get

Gigabyte should focus on bringing the X870E Xtreme to europe. I suspect they are currently pumping everything into the US.

they should make a black one, there’s not enough black back-connect boards if any.
If only single PCIe x16 slot, should have extra 5x4 M.2 slots to allow for 8x4x4, IMO.
Do you know if there is a AM5 board with back connectors and at least an extra Pci-e 4x to plug my Tp-link 10gb ethernet ?
Do you know if it can fit on a nzxt h5 elite case?
Muy bueno ❤
Damn, looks sweet
Hi when i Put 2x kc3000 m.2 ssd , gpu x16 not be cut to x8 , i need mount 5080 rtx?
i wish they release a back connect board for AMD in black
If you have a surround sound system 5.1 or 7.1, well good luck with this Mobo.
pro rs x870 by asrock!! pls pls review!! im begging to know you think !! 😢😢😢

that's a beautiful board ngl.tho the chipset and ethernet is disappointing.
The chipset is fine. The 800 series is a rebrand of the 600 series 😂
6 layers and 12+2+2 🤦🏻♂️
No thank you
x670e or x870e only for me
the only reason to get better mobo chipsets is for better ram speed.
But currently its irrelevant.
In Korea 280$ price
Not only late but Gigabyte has the shittiest service since these AM5s came out

Buy it in germany -> 285€
Not really late - it came out 3 months ago - I guess you are just late for the review.
B650 launched in October 2022 so it is a little late
