  • Heres a dry fit of the superb Mitchy Hub to a MV Agusta F4 or Brutale...
    So simple I was able to do it one handed while fumbling with my camera phone !

    At 1:50 there is a spacer on the left to your hand - where does that go ?

    Are you sure that's not a car tire?

    Hi i just bought my first mv agusta, but is it normal for the rear sprocket to have a little bit of wobble in it?

    • @josephgeoghegan9594
      @josephgeoghegan9594 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes Driss, a little play left to right is perfectly normal even when new. However, rotational lash should be zero.

    What exactly is the benefit of replacing a genuine Agusta part with this crap?

    • @BigDickIsBackInTown

      A Dude the original hub has a design flaw which can result in catastrophic failure. The most common failure is the seizing of the rear hub which is undesirable when riding at any speed. Mitch’s hub rectifies the poor design flaw so the chance of catastrophic failure is lessened exponentially.

      @@BigDickIsBackInTown Never ever have I heard of a failure of this hub; I have almost 22k with my 1090RR... Works just as day one. Also; I would NOT replace ANY genuine part with some other "better" stuff; this is not a hose, like HD or Japanese crap, this is a well sorted work of mechanical art... If something like this goes bad, it's most likely poor maintenance; you do know you need to check periodically for play (usage) and apply specific grease, don't you?

      @@BigDickIsBackInTown Here's a video of how you maintain your rear end in a manner in which it will never fail, but also remember, there is a torque specification for the two bolts which lock-in the desired position; over-tightening CAN AND WILL result in failure:

      I have 4 MV’s that I purchased new and have yet to have an issue in 16 years because I service each and every one. I know every inch of my bikes and how they have been maintained and ridden. This is not the case for all people as they buy their bikes used and have no clue what has been done or how the bike has been ridden. I completely agree that poor maintenance is the most common cause in MV’s for catastrophic hub failure. www.mvagusta.net/threads/how-many-rear-hubs-bearings-failed.38009/

      @@BigDickIsBackInTown Right! And I have 32 MV's since the beginning of time, who gives a fuck about what you have or think? I ONLY said, I would never ever use third party parts on MY bike (s). Does this guy make better parts for Agusta? That's great, they might buy the designs off his hands so that he won't struggle to sell online for the rest of his/her/it's life...

    Ask the riders who have experienced a collapse of the genuine MV Agusta hub bearings.
