So I watched it again and again and again and kept going back to what MHJ says and contradicts since the start. I also corroborated with facts given by the Investment Banking Industry. I am not falling for “Hybe’s media play” …the first time I watched the PC I also fell sorry for her but something felt off. So I watched it again and again and again and kept going back to what MHJ says and contradicts since the start. I also corroborated with facts given by the Investment Banking Industry.
She has contradicted many things she said and also in the PC she never really answers the questions asked by the journalists. She misdirects, and minimises many of the important points.
No one knows who is telling the truth but lots of neutral parties have highlighted legal and valid pilots and her contradictions.

not only the song, A LOT of people when they saw Illit’s promoting pictures or their concept photos saying it was similar to newjeans (i literally scrolled through comments and 80-95% was bout newjeans). Also there are choreography steps that are very similar, basically the same steps and movements like in other nj songs, that also create many of topics. No shame to the girls, but their company definitely did this on purpose to create more hype about their debut. Now, when illit debuted, has their on fanbase, and alot of people hates MHJ, they deny any similarities 🫡

but that aside I get mhj’s frustration. she was told she would create hybe’s first girl group only to be stabbed in the back when they debuted le sserafim. and even when new jeans became more popular, hybe refused to promote them and instead created a copycat of new jeans called illit, so they can benefit from and use mhj’s formula/concepts for new jeans while still refusing to promote new jeans. it’s clear she saw what they were doing and I don’t doubt that once they made illit the new ‘new jeans’ in the company they would continue to disregard new jeans’ promotion until they withered away in the background. so mhj had to do something about it.
she should’ve lawyered up before going to the court of public opinion though, because hybe has a lot of power and has launched a public smearing campaign against her and international stans will believe anything hybe says because they don’t have the same access to information the way knetz do.
