Makes sense that min heejin is a graphic designer considering how insane the branding of newjeans is. Their packaging and aestethic is a graphic designer's wet dream
Well, the design and brand of New Jeans, the aesthetics and even the choreography are copied from the Mexican band Jeans. You can look it up yourself. MHJ is only good at plagiarizing.
Pity it belonged to another girl group from Mexico first and also a UK group from the 90’s. You think she’s a graphic designer? Did she tell you that? Sucked in.
yes but their music was quite similar to what most people think of when Kpop comes to mind, Upbeat, strong, and in your face. NewJeans brought not only a unique concept, but a unique way of doing music relative to other groups. Their concept of y2k minimalism was also reflected in their music, which was very chill, relaxing, and nostalgic as most of their samples are retro and come from the late 80s, 90s and early 2000s.
I'll say this: NewJeans has a clear branding and color from the beginning, and that is _all_ Min Heejin. However, she took trainees that Hybe/Source Music had initially recruited (regardless if they were set to debut or be cut, MHJ did not audition and choose them to from a general audition), and used money from & the name of Hybe to produce and market this group. NJ is the product of MHJ _and_ Hybe. NewJeans most likely would not have seen this sort of success had MHJ built Ador on her own without Hybe (or another large company) to back her up with resources. I'm not supporting one side or the other. This whole situation is a big mess. Hybe is probably looking to axe Min Heejin _because_ she's upset about Illit. However, MHJ keeps deflecting on _all_ of the questions being asked about the hostile takeover. She's standing on public opinion and her personal relationships while Hybe is airing out way too much of their company drama. No one else will maintain NJ's creative image like MHJ, but if this woman really was planning a hostile takeover, I wouldn't trust her if I was leadership at Hybe.
It's not about where MHJ got her trainees from, but MHJ being promised one thing and be given another. She was set to debut Hybe's first girl group, but the group she wanted got denied when they signed Chaewon and Sakura for Le Serrafim. Hybe went back on their word and Debut LS. It's the reason New Jeans didn't get any PR from their debut. They lacked Hybe support to do so. It wasn't a strategy. It's the reason why she made the comments about PR.
Ok just to clarify this with your statement and understanding, the only SoMu member MHJ chose was Minji who joined SoMu in 2017. The other 3 members went for SoMu + Bighit joint audition in 2019 held specially for MHJ to find the Girls for her Girls group and even promoted it. Hyein was the last one to join after being spotted online in July 2021. They stay and trained in SoMu that's because they are expected to debut under SoMu till BangPD interfered with the process of her debuting Newjeans as Sakura and Chaewon was reported to be joining Hybe on August 2021 and that's when they push Newjeans debut aside and wants to use MHJ name to debut LSF as her first GG group under Hybe. Whichever group debuted first was important as audience were anticipating her GG. And for Hybe to use her name to Debut LSF first is called hoaxing and misleading the public. Also, MHJ questioned belift lab for the plagiarism not upset about Illit. She stated in the press conference, "This are all B*stard adult fault, it got nothing to do with the innocent children". Please correct that. It is only rightful for Hybe to provide financial support to debut a group and Hybe provided ADOR with 16.1 Billion Won. But did you know how much Hybe provided Belift Lab for the financial support for Illit? A 150 Billion Won. The mistreatment not only showed through the amount of financial support but if you go to Hybe youtube shorts page, you will find zero content of Newjeans. Why is that? They posted everything for every group except for Newjeans. The only teaser shorts Hybe posted for Newjeans was ETA Teaser and that teaser is hidden on their page. Please double check your info before posting it and don't post a misleading post.
I just hope that investment companies see this and pay for the Nj exit fee from Hybe so they can join Mhj to do their own thing with other people resources now.
@@eslnterif what you are saying is true and tgere is evidence of it,is thst why MHJ was planning to steal(coz its obviously stealing)a company and a grouo that doesnt belong to her?She is being accused of one thing but her and the likes of her keep talking about she said,he said
@@NowAndToEternity No one will do it. The only way to exit was prove of Bang PD/ Hybe interruption with ADOR's business, leaked of personal info/ invaded privacy/ mistreatment from Hybe and in turn breached of trust. Only then I believe the court will be much favor on their side. But seeing the corruption rate in Korea is so high, I wonder if justice would be served.
If she leaves, I hope HYBE is smart enough to have Shin Woo-seok (mv director) to oversee the groups image, Kim Eun-ju and BLACK.Q (main choreographers) to oversee the dances and have the producer "250" overlook the music production. It has to be an intense and close collaboration between the NJ and those I mentioned in order to keep and retain the sound/look without the overall direction of MHJ if she gets kicked out.
Yes, this is what's I'm been saying. They act likeif they took her out and everything would never be the same. While she's not the only one who working here. I'm been theresinc debut and saw many ppl who have worked with the girl from the beginning. If she out, does that mean she gon took everything withher? Including music producer, choreographer, mv director? Can she really do that? They got anything to do with her as a package or smth? Can't they just continue working with the girls like b4??? 🤷🤷♀️
why would hybe bother to do all that when it's already evident hybe have never been interested in newjeans ever since they debuted? no hybe will not do any of those things i guarantee you even now you can look at how hybe treats newjeans's bubble gum release are there any promotions for it?
@@moonlightpaw5868 bubble gum release was planned long before the fight broke out and instead of planning for the bubble gum promotion, why hybe of all time chose to purposely publicize the issue close to the release date when it's supposed to be an internal company matter? if that's not sabotage then i don't know what is!
Personally, I feel illit is more dreamcore than y2k and yeah there is familiarity between the groups, but honestly there is familiarity throughout ALL of kpop. This really breaks down to money and power, who has it and who wants it. However this plays out in court, the ones who will actually feel the negative effects are artists, not the ceos and management.
@@PolkaGeekmmwell that is an opinion. I agree with @JRiley813 that Illit is not y2k and their music is not even the same genre than NJ. Do they have similarities ? Yes, they do. But if you take other groups like BM and BP there are also big similarities, or even bigger I would say. I feel that the « Illit is NJ 2.0 » is an excuse and a diversion tactic (from whom I don’t know) so people do not focus on the real issues. In fact it shouldn’t be this big of a deal whether Illit and NJ are similar or not.
@PolkaGeekmm that is your opinion, which you are allowed to have. But honestly to think that concepts don't inspire other groups is silly... like how long have you listened and been into kpop? Nobody owns a concept, MHJ didn't invent y2k she just repopularized a look from the early 2000s. It was also said that MHJ took inspiration from a late 90s jpop group SPEED, if true then didn't she do with New Jeans what she is claiming the management of Illit did? All I am saying is y2k isn't brand new and when I first saw Illit it gave me a dreamcore feel, not y2k. Again that is MY opinion.
@@irisouyart So you agree that Newjeans and Illit are similar like BP and BM? Can you also see that they were released 7 years apart and not the year after their debut? Its definitely not the core issue of this situation, but it supports her statements of why she stood her ground and fought for what she believed in.
@@dwp_orange8416 well the similarities I see is that they all are very young and they all have dark hair. If you think that is enough to say they are copying NewJeans, then that is your opinion. Style-wise Illit is more doll-core, while NJ are y2k, music-wise Illit is more Uk garage, while NJ is more R&B etc. I was just stating that there are SOME similarities, but not enough in my opinion to say that Illit is a NJ copycat. Making a fuss for this is nonsense, because it is not that big of a deal (I am not saying that those who think they are very similar are nonsense, just that obsessing on it is a waste of time). That is why I suspect that emphasizing on this aspect looks like a diversion. And about BM and BP, there may be years in between their debuts, but if we talk purely similarities then to me, they are more similar than Illit and NJ.
I don’t think they will. They’ll get the sympathy vote and their own fandom wont let her down. They started with Hybe , they’ll be looked after by Hybe. That’s my prediction.
@@MoonstoneStarChaser Well this didnt age well. Seems that HYBE is considering a year and half hiatus for New Jeans, which ofc leads to speculation that they are trying to shelve New Jeans and promote ILLYT
Bang Si Hyuk and HYBE don't care about NJ, it's weird finding out there are ZERO NJ shorts on the HYBE official YT, though there shorts for every other group. He has no pictures with the members or any quotes of anything positive to say about them, this massively successful group that everyone loves. A stark contrast to his relationship with LSF. Whatever you think about MHJ, it's obvious Bang has no love for the group. He doesn't get to be the genius creator of the NJ sensation, he can only say he hired the right person. If they're left at HYBE, they're going to be put in the dungeon.
He doesn't love the group, however he treats them like queens, he pays them millionaire sums a year, he gets them luxury brands to promote, he lets them have the best places to live, it's pathetic how stupid fans like you victimize these girls when I doubt that a rookie group she has better treatment than these girls, what's more, she gave her CEO the possibility of working independently under an exclusive label for them and not being just another sorce music group, it's incredible how you can see the lies that this woman invents
MHJ is obviously isolating NJ from BSH and other groups under hybe. If she really plan on getting NJ members and ADOR out of HYBE, she would limit the connection of her group towards the BSH, the parent company and subsidiaries.
how hard is it to do an unbiased reporting of this it’s so hard to form an actual opinion when people “just reporting the news” clearly have an opinion
I don't see MHJ staying at Hybe. However, I don't think MHJ would have been able to do what she did with NJ all on her own without Hybe's resources - not just money but connections, music, network, training etc. If she could have she would have. Allegedly, she even borrowed the money to buy her shares from Bang. It's a huge mess and NJ have been hurt by adults they trusted to care for and protect them.
i almost wonder if NewJeans are making enough on their own to fund their own endeavors but bc of huge profit cuts from HYBE ceo’s, they only see part of it. i bet MHJ & NJ will all make more if they can own their own property. just like any talented artist signed to a huge label.
@@princesscherry5217 yes.so she should open her own business alone so the stocks is her stocks100% . if she plans want to bringing NJ out from there then she need to wait for the contract expired first. NJ is hybe labels asset. The girls is from hybe trainee. Also She coming alone when she working at hybe not with the girls.
@@princesscherry5217 If MHJ opens his own label (when he gets out of prison) she will also take on the risks. You have to pay the staff, you have to pay the MVs, you have to pay the artists. A small independent label won't be able to pay girls a $5 million annual salary or afford a big promotion. Maybe MHJ may earn more, but the girls will definitely earn less, because the bulk of the profit goes to the label, not the artist. Furthermore, to terminate the contract with Hybe, NJs will have to pay a penalty: even if they find an investor who lends them the money, they will then have to pay it back. BTS have finished paying their debts NOW for the money they borrowed in the past.
@@ycookies-rv9df You are not too sure. They already have Illit. We will only see things pan out if indeed after NJ Comeback this May if they will shelf them and give them fewer comebacks until they fade into view just like fromis_9.
One thing I don't see people talking enough about is how Min Hee Jin is directly targetting three artists: iLLit, Le Sserafim, and BTS. These groups are getting a massive amount of hate right now because of how she spoke of them in her press con. BTS is even being investigated *again* for already debunked sajaegi allegation back in 2017 because of Min Hee Jin and her "public opinion campaign." This "May public opinion campaign" was in the documents HYBE uncovered, and it's so sad to see these innocent artists being targetted when they've done nothing wrong. Min Hee Jin even used company money to pay for her shaman friend to wish ill on other HYBE artists.
@ferximochola7596 yeah it’s so awful, they are literally serving their country and these rumours are starting again 🫠. Just trying to spread the rumours about the government investigating it again are false, because so many antis are just believing more crap and running with it 🙄
There are some De Ja Vu on this (or some sort) Former LOONA creative director Jaden Jeong leave the company after BBC (the new management) decided to scrap off the LOONAverse concept storyline (though the preference of concept still exist in the later releases from "So What" to "Flip that!", the storyline never progresses) aside from problems with the agency's finances and debt, which led to the cracks began to form and even the mistreatment of LOONA began to reveal. If I recount, Jaden was the visionary behind LOONAverse concept/storyline in which he's proud of, and he broke his heart when he's not going further with the 12 girls. Therefore, LOONA will NOT be the SAME without Jaden Jeong. So as MHJ and NewJeans, if MHJ will kicked out by HYBE, the NewJeans will NOT be the same and much more HYPE and POPULAR without MHJ. Like Jaden, she's also the visionary (just like it said) of creating a new group in a different kind of concept, the style, and even the looks. Plus, NewJeans members were already ATTACHED to MHJ, and treat like its second mother to them. So sad 😢
Well, the design and brand of New Jeans, the aesthetics and even the choreography are copied from the Mexican band Jeans. You can look it up yourself. MHJ is only good at plagiarizing.
It seems like a lot of people haven't watched the conference... I hope people watch the conference from beginning to end and then talk about it. Articles distributed by sites with messy translations like allkpop focus only on what they find provocative during the two-hour discussion. Most Koreans who watched the conference did so without any bias, as many of them didn't even know who Min Hee-jin was. Despite differing opinions on Min Hee-jin's somewhat intense tone, if you delve into the content of her words, you'll see that Hybe was consistently countered with evidence and arguments. This aspect might not be apparent to international audiences. Among those interested in this issue abroad, many are already fans of K-pop and are familiar with Min Hee-jin or Bang Si-hyuk to some extent, and already have preconceived notions about them. Viewing the issue through such fixed ideas, those who already dislike Min Hee-jin for whatever reason will try to find fault in everything she says or does. However, when typical Koreans encountered this news, there were likely more people uninterested in K-pop or idols, and many who had just learned who Min Hee-jin was. Therefore, they would have viewed the issue without any bias and focused on the content, regardless of her appearance or tone being standing out and different from norm. (Even though that is how she dress even on other interviews and award shows) Sometimes when you hear stories from international fans, it seems like they think Koreans live their lives entirely focused on K-pop, but in reality, there are more people who aren't interested at all. So, there's no infiltration or change in opinions. Looking back at the Fifty Fifty situation, most international fans supported Fifty Fifty and heavily criticized the CEO. Most Koreans sided with the CEO. At that time, most Koreans didn't know who Fifty Fifty was, and they didn't know the CEO either. They just found the CEO's story more credible and truthful when they heard from two people. The difference in perspective between international fans and ordinary Koreans stems from several factors: the inability to understand the language, the slower access to news, and the mistranslation or deliberate sensationalization of news by companies translating these articles, resulting in international fans not receiving the accurate news. Koreans typically encounter news about Min Hee-jin or FiftyFifty-related news about once an hour, and these news pieces are often presented neutrally without taking sides. Additionally, many Korean TH-camrs neutrally analyze both sides of the argument and explain the correct and incorrect points, allowing the public to make their own decisions based on the content. Because to most of them or general public, it is not that important since they are not fandom of any group. It is interesting story and something to talk about, that is it. However, international fans often encounter media that leans heavily towards one side, especially outlets like allkpop or Koreanboo. Therefore, international fans frequently fail to access accurate information due to the influence of media. For instance, the word 'bad' in English can have both positive and negative meanings, but when Koreans hear it, they often interpret it negatively. Similarly, in Korean, translating words directly into English can result in distorted meanings, leading to misunderstandings and misconceptions. Min Hee-jin didn't selectively show KakaoTalk messages to prove only what she wanted, and at least she appeared more truthful than Hybe's official stance. Korean lawyers and people in the entertainment industry are not fools; they are very smart people. Most lawyers or marketing experts also think Min Hee-jin seems truthful, but they believe Hybe will prevail. Because they have 80% of share, and end of the day Big companies usually win. But culturally, Min hee jin wins, because she talked about a lot of dark Side of Kpop general public did not know about, and now they knows. And trying to fix it. From a neutral standpoint, it's not even important who wins. It might be important to fans, but to the general public, whether this issue is positive or negative for K-pop as a whole matters. It might be negative for Hybe, but when viewed in the context of the entire K-pop industry, it brings to the surface issues that have been swept under the rug for so long. Min Hee-jin mentioned issues like photo cards and forced fan meetings (how it is hard for artists, fans, because of greed of companies) during this conference. She also talked about industry-wide problems in the K-pop industry. Why don't they talk about these issues? While focusing on Min Hee-jin's appearance and tone, no one properly translates and spreads the essence of the content. By bringing up these issues, Min Hee-jin ultimately made Koreans who don't know much about K-pop realize that such problems exist. Issues like forcing CD purchases randomly and the lack of uniqueness maintained by each label, even though innovative marketing methods like NewJeans have been utilized, leading to the homogenization of the entire K-pop style... It's not just an issue of illit copying; in the past, groups from the Big 3 companies all had the same style of music and fashion, leading to the uniformity of the entire K-pop scene. If you're a multi-label, each one should be different. When one group succeeds, its style becomes a trend, and everyone starts following it. However, leading that from the same company is wrong, and it negatively affects not just NewJeans and Illit but the entire K-pop culture. That's why efforts are being made to change it. International fans seems to be more focussed on min hee jin and hybe, who is right or wrong. When Koreans talk about something else, more of problems in Kpop and how to fix it.
Thank you! I really liked what you wrote. I agree with you. But I want to add: It's not just about the money, and it's not just about the future of K-pop. If Min Hee Jin loses to these hucksters, people's sense of justice will suffer. And this leaves a difficult impression and for many it is more important than money.
Yes, bc korean doesn't give a shit abt this whole thing when hybe first published the situation. They didn't come out and has someone talking on a press conference explain everything. They just published a paper thru online. Now that the news didn't boardcast it either. And now when she had press con with all these news reporters in a room live streaming on one pf the biggest sk tv channel. And ppl tuned in bc it on the news. And they just found out abt all of this thru her only perspective, which is look like an employee being abusive from the mother company. Of everyone gonna side with her. But kpop fans in general been following this issue since the beginning. They been there since the first statement from hybe any mhj was published. So they have more context on this situation. With more knowledge abt this whole thing with also non-bias pov, I believe most ppl know how this is going. The korean side with her bc they feel sympathy to her from seeing the press conference and she did do everything to paint hybe as a villain of the story. But do they actually know abt the whole situation??? Have they ever do a research abt it? Or just tuned in the news when she did a press con, heard her one-side story and start believing her from that alone? I doubt that they actually been following or maybe even use that logical thinking skills for this whole situation for once, rather than just seeing some woman dress poorly talk crying abt everything that make her look like a victim on this story and feel sympathy and side with her at the end. If that so, then I got nothing to say than let's wait and see what the judge would say when she standing there in the court in the next few weeks😗😗😗

4:20 - technically HYBE Corporation bought all of them (including Big Hit Music), because before the creation of HYBE Corpo. labels like Source Music and Belift Lab (although Belift Lab was in co-production with CJ ENM) were already under Big Hit Entertainment, so after HYBE was created, Big Hit Ent. change its name to Big Hit Music and all the labels became equal to each other/to be on the same level as Big Hit Music (and not to be under them), because HYBE Corpo. became like a big umbrella for all of them.
Instead of watching this video watch her press conference... It was all red flag type she indirectly admitted that there was conflict regarding shares equity. Any person who has knowledge of psychology will tell you that she's greedy. She asked for more shares. Look at her audacity to ask for more when hype created ador with their money and she bought shares at a discount price. @eslnter well she's just an employee but then she bought ador shares. There's nothing wrong about it. But initially, hybe sold her 10% of shares in discount... She said that's not enough plus there is 45% tax on it. She was unsatisfied they negotiated and sold her 3.5% shares again in discount and vesting period for those 13.5% was less than standard vesting period... this wasn't enough for her she asked for more shares. Hybe denied in the beginning but then they agreed and sold an extra 4.5% of shares and 2% to her underlings but the condition was that she can use those shares after standard vesting time period which is 5 years just to make sure that she doesn't sell stocks n run off immediately.. Those 4.5% of stocks are extra, she should have realised that she's just an employee and stay in a limit. Plus hybe never wanted to sell this much of shares to only one person as it doesn't look good in other shareholders' perspectives. It wasn't a slave contract but more like a sweetheart contract. Just because she brought 335 M won to HYBE it doesn't mean she has the right to ask for more money. SHE IS JUST AN EMPLOYEE AND NOT A FOUNDER.

The fight isn’t over New Jeans it’s about money, power and control. Ador’s CEO couched it as her and New Jeans against the big bad corp HYBE (in that classic narcissistic, manipulative press conference) when it’s really about her wanting complete control over New Jeans and Ador. More importantly it is about her wanting to be the CEO of a major brand on par with HYBE. When HYBE didn’t bend the knee and give her what she wanted because well…contracts which she willingly signed and got handsomely compensated she attempted a coup with outside investors. Only people who are going to suffer in the end is New Jeans because well you know, she loves them like a mother. 🙄
The Stan from Hybe are funny. The woman held a press conference to defend herself from the witch hunt they have against her without having found her guilty of anything.
100% this is about money and power. She asked for something and she didn't get it, uhm because why she signed a contract. If I ask my current employer for a raise and they tell me no I can't just go around posting slanderous info about them cause guess what I will get fired and could also get sued. So what if I may have created something that benefited the company I am obligated to be a good employee. If not guess I should go somewhere else. This works the same exact way. She asked Hybe said no, end of story she should have just stuck it out or quit. Which sound like she does want to quit but take her creation with her. Sorry chica you should have asked for that option to be added into the contract you signed. She can go kick rocks.
and thats great but what does that have to do with the fact that MHJ apparently copied another group, but isn't she the one complaining about another group copying NJ's. Sorry if it is ok for NJ, than it is ok for the new group to do the y2k thing as well. Sorry but it all seems rather shady. Especially for a person who claims she created this all....all herself. where did they copy the mexican group jeans? Did NJ steal their songs? nope. Did NJ steal their style? nope. its Y2K and you can not copyright a fashion style. Did NJ steal their dance? nope. Did NJ steal their concept? nope.
Kk so this is clear that Min and hybe just wanna play corporates, min is using NewJeans member’s insecurities and promised better life to get them over. Here, only suffering and career threat situation befalls to the promising young members of NewJeans and possibly ILLIT if hybe loses this. Don’t think for a second that Min Heejin is some angel. It’s all about personal accomplishments.
The fact that here in the comments there are both stans of Hybe or Ador/Min Heeji makes me laugh so much. Both parties are A MESS and they are just money and power hungry, as every big company (and its subsidiaries) is. The drama they created can really rival the best plot of a k-drama. What I am really concerned about are only the girls. New Jeans, Illit, Lesserafim: the antis and stans are already fighting and these poor girls are being caught in the fire, with consequences to their mental health. I really hope they are being taken care of by adults that have the girls' best interests at heart. Who cares about fame if it's making your life miserable? We already lost too many idols. Let's just protect the girls, as fans, let's just give them love, not hate.
oh god, finally someone said it… i can’t even imagine what these girls from all 3 groups are going through, they are in the middle of the hell all these girls just wanted to debut, and it’s COMPANIES that allowed them to, that build their marketing plans, concepts, music and etc. like there’s so much things they are not responsible for but get hated all this girls are so young, many of them are minors too, which is k-pop industry’s and company’s problem, not girls’ and i genuinely can’t imagine, how hurtful it is for their mental health… i’m a lesserafim fan myself, i just genuinely adore this girls, their music, performances and personalities, and just let me say, i don’t go in socials cause it’s really hurts how they get hate for everything they do and i enjoy nj and illit music too, never hated them or anything being a gg k-pop stan just really hurts.
Honestly I do think MHJ is doing what she thinks is best for NJ, she treats the members as her own children, I think people don't really understand the relationship between MHJ and NJ, it's a lot different from the usual corporate, professional relationship and that's why NJ are obviously on MHJ's side

If a company HIRES and PAYS you to create something, that creation belongs to the company. This is absolutely obvious. Also, she isn't a creative artist. She's a business woman, specialized in branding. She doesn't create things. She guides and supervises the creation and marketing. The songs aren't hers, the design isn't hers, the fashion style isn't hers, the choreographies aren't hers, the video screenwriting and art aren't hers. Other people did that.

In the same line as Hybe having a hard time to win over MHJ in court; she would also not win over any plagiarism claim too. She'll more than likely leave losing NJ until their contracts are over (if the girls chose to side if her later on)

I be honest here. MHJ & Hybe are both not exactly in the right here. I guess the explosive quick rise of hybe means the leadership hierachy and cross brands cooperation is still in infancy. With this drama it is in shambles

@@起.承.転.結 i don't think you understand what a creative director does. And to take your example: bts has shifted a lot in terms of style, concept and sound over the years. It has payed off for them (though not always free from criticsm), but the aspect around newjeans is that people don't want these changes. So your example doesn't hold much credit in regards to this Situation
@@kangkangmygoat well, u can't compare a 10 yo group to a 2 yo group. So ur comparison is irrelevant from the beginning. Ppl grow, so is bts. Whether like it or not, they can't do the same thing forever. Also they didn't do all this for the fans alone, they do it for themselves too. What they like, they gon do them. If she wanted to have more creative control and leave at some point with her creation and have her own label. Shouldn't she have put that in the contract? Either way i still say she can go kick rocks. As usual the adults are fighting and the only person/persons suffering are the kids/young adults. Just sad.
she probably didn't think her parent company would steal IP and give it to their other subsidiary owned by a family member lol. plus they didn't even use hybe's media relations, they used MHJ's connections instead
@mochacup1868 this happens a lot under capitalism where the ceo thinks the whole company is theirs.. look at elon musk being sued by tesla for stealing ai ip to promote his other company.. SMH so blind
Dumb of HYBE to release Illit when they had New Jeans on the books. You give Magnetic to New Jeans and that song would have trended globally. GLOBALLY. MHJ is right, HYBE got greedy.
Are you knew to kpop? Companies releasing the same type of groups is literally the norm. The idea is bank on already existing fans that can support the new group while they develop their own image. That's why TxT and BTS had similiar images when TxT debuted and now they're completely different groups.
Magnetic plays everyday on the local radio in my region (small town in east europe). The last time kpop song was that big is ddu du ddu du by blackpink

NewJeans will be weaker if MHJ is forced out, but they'll still be strong. HYBE is running Le Sserafim, ILLIT, and NewJeans pretty much some of the biggest names right now.
Interestingly from a business perspective, Le Sserafim and New Jeans have very different results. In 2023, Ador made 20 million in profit while Source Music only made 9 million in profit. My guess is that Ador (New Jeans) have more partnership contracts. For a 3rd comparison, Big Hit (BTS, TXT) made 109 million in profit last year. Of all Hybe's labels, Big Hit is the most profitable and Ador is the 2nd most profitable.
@@InternetsNathan you srsl ask 'Like what'? Like how hybe treated MHJ and how Bang PD reacted towards NJ success at the billboards. I highly doubt that you understood the press conference. You just picked up some information from hybe-friendly media and try to show a highly subjective view against MHJ. If you follow the Korean media you will see that the majority stands behind MHJ. Also MHJ stated in the press conference how she does not blame illit. The Illit issue was so unrelevant during the whole press conference and you direct your video towards this issue is just mind boggling. Nathan you should take off your hybe glasses and watch the whole press conference and also check out the connections of the Korean cult Dan World and Hybe. With leaving out so much information you clearly direct the audience against MHJ and Newjeans.
She repeatedly admitted during her presser & later interviews that she spoke to outside investors, advisors & her shaman friend about Njs & HYBE. THAT is why her attorney tried to shut her up because she was admitting she violated her nda, employment contract, fiduciary duty’s, & violated the law. Regardless of the other evidence HYBE has, those are admissions. HYBE flipped one if the o/ former sm employees on the board who also admitted to speaking to advisors. They are all losing their jobs & frankly all the staff at ador should be culled & njs rolled into Source (where they were supposed to debut a way). If njs doesn’t want that they can break their contract, pay out the remaining 5-6 years & any penalties & leave all the njs ip w/ HYBE. I can’t believe you of all people are buying her horrible media play. Very disappointed. Will no longer watch your videos
lol u if u watched it u would clearly know he’s presenting both sides and it’s up to us as the audience to choose what side or not choose bc both are wrong it’s just MHJ is more wrong bc she has more at stake then Hybe does.
One thing that MHJ was not a part of: the music. She's not a songwriter, she's not a producer, she didn't contribute to the music at all. You know why their concepts became popular...they had good songs. That's why I think they'll be fine without MHJ if she is removed.
Yeah, as long as they are able to keep the same producing team especially and maintain their creative direction as much as possible they should be ok. I’m more concerned though about the members themselves because, although things are still ongoing, I recall seeing reports detailing that Hybe were unable to get into contact with New Jeans’ parents through their representatives, and MHJ/ some reported claims from Hybe framed things as if their parents had some degree of knowledge on the decision to try to separate ador and potentially supported one of the “escape plans” involving the termination of their contracts. If the court sides with Hybe (which seems likely), I’m slightly unsure on how things will settle if this was deemed true and they still support that decision.
@@olivw9303 I have heard that the parents weren't answering Hybe's calls, I haven't heard that they knew about any contract termination plans. But I think that the parents should open up communication with Hybe. It gives the parents opportunity to air out any grievances they have and gives them the opportunity to hear directly from a Hybe representative. At least give them the opportunity to talk about what's going on privately. If the parents don't like what they hear, at least they can say they tried. But by not answering the calls and not allowing the opportunity to communicate sounds pretty childish to me. It reminds me of the Fifty Fifty situation
@@caseyfranks371 I agree with this, and we all saw how the situation with fifty fifty turned out. Hopefully things will end with the best possible outcome for the girls, and all the other groups who are being unfairly targeted/slandered as collateral will get peace.

This video seems a bit biased towards Min Heejin's favor. There's also a profound lack of discussion on how many different fandoms have been roped into this mess because of name drops and people getting confused over ethics and business. It's gotten to the point where many groups have been roped into severe hate trains, especially HYBE groups specifically LSF. Newjeans and Illit. It is a whole dumpster fire where people are trying to boycott NewJeans because they think it will somehow help what's going on. There's a severe amount of misinformation and victim blaming and tomato throwing and has made the fandom space even more toxic than it usually is. Even ARMYs have been roped in and have suddenly declared that NJs is the enemy?? Or random bunnies who think Min Heejin can do no evil??
Agreed. A lot of points missed and completely brushed over the fact that Min Hee Jin is diverting attention away from the very serious crimes she's accused of using innocent groups--specifically iLLit, Le Sserafim, and BTS. She's even been accused of giving away personal information (including health records) of groups to outside sources which is a HUGE breach of trust/contract not to mention disgusting on a moral level.
Agree he was biased to heejin. In my opinion both heejin and HYBE aren’t innocent. And I feel like heejins claims to ILLIT copying them, most aren’t valid. Like hair, makeup, photoshoots?? If this went to court about ILLIT copying new jeans I don’t think it would be successful for her
This. I felt the same. The cult and stuff is media play by MHJ to try and hide the facts of her misdeeds such as the renegotiating of contracts, put options, asking 200 million in share payment. Taking all the trainees from source music leaving them an “empty shell”. Etc etc
Love the format and info, but I think the jokes in between is slowing the video down. I find myself skipping 5 seconds ahead... Keep them but keep them brief?
she didn't say illit copied newjeans. what she said was their company followed their promotion road map footprint to exact. HYBE has not come out with one solid evidence, just talk, why ? if you have so much evidence, why not show it ? MHJ FIGHTING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please inform yourselves on what is currently going on! HYBE is deeply connected to the cult Dahn World. There is a reason why most korean people side with Min Hee Jin and NewJeans. Siding with Min Hee Jin does not mean that the korean people are against BTS. More than that, they are concerned about how HYBE and Dahn World might have influenced many groups like BTS, GFRIEND, Le sserafim, etc. If you take a close look at the change in gfriends concept, you can see how hybe turned them into witches that had to be burned and judged by the goddess Mago who is worshiped by the cult. After being burned as witches, they were replaced by le sserafim who kind of have a concept of (fallen) angels. Moreover, Dahn World seems to be a cult that is pro japanese (see: burn the bridge) and against christianity. After the press conference, Min Hee Jin purposely only got interviewed by the christian broadcasting channel in Korea (CBS) which is not influenced by the power Hybe and Dahn World are exercising. There is no news coverage on this whole situation which shows how corrupted the situation in Korea is. CBS is the only channel that is currently investigating Dahn World as a cult. In NewJeans MVs, Min Hee Jin drops many hints on the scary situation with Dahn World being involved with Hybe (see: Omg -> pls translate the korean commentaries). Furthermore, she uses channels as Ban Heesoo and Ban JiYeon to expose Hybe and Dahn World. She hides the message GET UP in Ban JiYeon’s channel. In Ban Heesoo‘s channel there is one christmas video that is purposefully muted as christmas is not a holiday celebrated by the cult. PD Bang was also against Danielle becoming a member of NewJeans because of her christian name and faith.
Min Heejin brand what now? MHJ came up with "ADOR" because BTS & ARMY branding is a door. It was popularized by BTS with HYYH and then Magic Shop in LoveYourself series. She the took another most popular thing which was the bunny specifically known for Jungkook and used that icon. A bunch of these things a in their mvs and more to attract ARMY. She is clever in making it not exactly alike, but any veteran ARMY cab see the alignment
@@lennosan2552 not taking their side but its true that mhj was trying to attract bts fanbase with nothing but a clever marketting. mhj has no right to involve other groups when it was all around hybe , illit, and nj but she did it she's getting the attention she wants. and also mhj herself involved bts too so i dont know whats the point.
I thought NEWJEANS was safe, and they had a fighting chance after knowing what will be in part two and keeping up with a NEWJEANS scandal, I don’t know anymore

@@起.承.転.結 Hybe doesn't like NJ, it is obvious. They already have NJ 2.0. Would that petty man care about his adopted children (NJ) or his own children (NJ2.0)?
If nj really with mhj, if i were hive i would let mhj and nj to leave the hive after paying the fines. Its too much drama. And its not worth it. Hive can just create new gg. And in the next comeback of illit they change their concept then all the drama mhj stops there. Right because thats all her statement right? The “copying of nj and mistreatments” then leave.
Nathan, you're missing an important part. It wasn't the plan to debut New Jeans without PR. It's that they didn't have the support to do so when Hybe made Le Serrafim be Hybe's first girl group instead of New Jeans even though they were set to debut. It's the reason why she was able to get New Jean's parent's support since their initial debut was postponed due to LS. Also a lot of this information came out of the press conference. How could you reference the press conference without going through what she said?
Well, that's just one of her accuses. So she want the title first gg from hybe to be her group instead??? How greedy do u want? She never said anything until now. They been picking trainee to form a group since 2019-2020. Back then when iz*one still wasn't disbanded. What was she doing all those year??? She had so much time to debut a group b4 lsf was formed. Why didn't she??? U telling me is that hybe fault also??? 🤨🤨🤨
@@起.承.転.結 Damn brilliant reply. The MHJ team just relentlessly blames this toxic vixen’s behaviour on Hybe. Their language and thought processes sound like they’re really young and impressionable.
It was Heeins idea to not pre promote and come boom! out. Stop blaming stuff on Hybe, they are not a label, it's ADOR that did all the decisions, that literally why she demanded a new label, because she wanted to make these decisions independently.
The reason they debuted Le Sserafim first is because that was always the plan. Why was MHJ hired? To be the creative director for the first GG in Hybe THROUGH SOURCE MUSIC. Hybe had recently acquired Source Music and needed a new group to start bringing in revenue because Source Music was not doing well financially. That's why all of the trainees were from Source Music and Source Music was paying for everything. It was MHJ who wanted to get further and further away from what she was hired to do. She said herself in her press conference, she didn't want to work with Sakura or Chaewon who were brought in by Source Music to be in the group. Hybe/Source Music could have said "Too bad. We want these girls in the group", or they could've fired her, or she could've quit. But what actually happened was Hybe listened to her opinions and GAVE HER HER OWN LABEL! She was able to pick all of the members (from Source Music trainees) and had full creative control while HYBE paid for everything. Then they gave her 18% of the company. Quite the career ascent for someone who was just hired to be a creative director. But now that she has her own label with New Jeans, SOURCE MUSIC STILL NEEDS A GG (you know, what she was actually hired to do). So they put together Le Sserafim and now have two groups to debut and now have a scheduling conflict. It's not a surprise to me that they debuted Le Sserafim first because that was always the plan. AFTER EVERYTHING MHJ GOT IN ALL OF THIS, a mild inconvenience of postponing their debut isn't something worth complaining about.
I feel like Min was trying to negotiate a better contract because new jeans was very popular right out the gate. She wanted 30 times it's worth and HYBE was not willing to do that give her $300 million dollars. My thought is they're all under one company they could have been able to settle this if she felt BELIFT/ ILLIT was copying. Companies who have subsidiaries they pretty much copy each other cuz they're under one roof. I don't know whose side I'm on but I know if I own a company and I gave a person a good job and they did it well and they were negotiating with her to give her more money and she was too greedy well so be it. It's more money than she she was ever offered. And then to find out she was trying to steal part of your company no way.
I think you misunderstand the situation.. the 30 times you're talking about is actually the 30 times the original value for a put option which allows the holder sells their shares back to the company at a predetermined price. Considering the ADOR revenue jumped from KRW $19B in 2022 to $110.3B in 2023 this isn't unreasonable at all for high growth industries especially when MHJ contributed to ADOR's growth without Hybe's media connections and planning. ADOR also turned from a loss of $4B in 2022 to a profit of $33.5B in 2023. In 2026 ADOR's net worth is expected to jump to $2 trillion KRW as well. She wanted either this contractual change from "13 times" to "30 times" the predetermined price which was also meant to be reflective of her future projects (eg. a new boy group), or to get rid of the clause that states a part of that stock needs Hybe's approval to be sold.
New jeans is no different from all the other KPOP group. MHJ is the CEO not an employee. Get out of your emotions this is a business ask yourself what kind of mother would drag her children into her drama. Women know the power of tears and looking unkempt . Stop gaslighting on her behalf at least try to understand how a business work, but sure I'm wasting my time. Just like your title this was a SLOOPY video.
Mhj using NJ popularity and thinking about her self how to take NJ before she get fired or before she leave hype, MHJ she is an ex SM worker who work with SM and we all know how SM treat their group use them when they are popular and mistreated them when they are down
Hybe is a really shady company especially when they let scooter Braun in who supports genocide. Yes lessarafim debut has so limelight and new jeans come out of nowhere
This was not as thoroughly done. MHj discussed so much more that what you mentioned. LSM didn't want to debut the new jeans members. He wanted someone to takedown aespa and ive so he started le seraffim and recruited already well known members. MHJ fought for the debut of NJ members that's why they debuted back to back. LSM send sarcastic messages like "are you happy now?" when NJ did well. He's not happy that someone else did better than him. So he went out of his way to make another group that's exact same copy as NJ. That's what started this all. They want MHJ to cease and desist with the plagiariasm complaints so they're kicking her out.
First, congrats on not jumping the gun and took your time for some facts to come through before covering this. The outline that has emerged thus far isn't even that complicated: HYBE's cannibalization of K-pop has kicked into a crazy brazen gear, now Bang is eating his own children, but trying to project his total lack of ethics onto someone 1000 times smaller. Domestic media may debate over moral issues, fandoms may fear K-pop being eaten alive by The Hype Entourage with the likes of Scooter Braun on board, but top investors will only notice Bang's gluttony and desperation. For K-pop dabblers like me, I can only feel sorry for every artist and song that the world don't get to hear, because of the insatiable appetite of a few people. Anywayz yours a relatively subtle and balanced take. I look forward to your part 2!
It’s not just HYBE. Min heejin is also not innocent at all. First she’s a creep. Second shes thinking ILLIT copied new jeans but her proof wasn’t valid enough… etc
Your hatred is showing nothing you said is said because u care about right and wrong. You are just being hateful towards a company and it is okay to admit, you ain't fooling anyone here
crazy stuff. One thing that could be good coming out of this is kpop fans maybe realising how many people work behind the scenes to create the work they love
She is merely an employee, but she did purchase shares in Ador. Nothing about it is wrong. Hybe first sold her 10% of the shares at a discount. That was not enough, she said adding that there's a 45% tax. She didn't like that they negotiated and sold her 3.5% shares at a discount, and that the vesting term for the 13.5% shares was shorter than the usual vesting period. AGAIN she asked for more shares because she felt that this wasn't enough. Hybe first denied, but eventually they came to an agreement and sold an additional 4.5% of shares and 2% to her associates. The only catch was that Min Heejin could only use the shares after the standard vesting period of 5 years. simply to be sure she doesn't sell stocks and take off right away. She should have understood that she is only an employee and sticks to limits. those 4.5% of stocks are additional and from the perspectives of other shareholders, it doesn't seem good for Hybe to sell this many shares to just one person. She doesn't have the right to demand additional money just because she brought 335 M won to HYBE. She is not the founder; she is merely an employee.

Actually, New jeans is thriving. Public opinion regarding this has shifted to MHJ side in Korea. That is what's most important about all of this. MHJ has never looked better.
MHJ THE CREATIVE GENIUS is obsessed with intriguing concepts. ETA has reference to the terrorist group named ETA. Now inactive ETA was run by Micheal. Cookie is bout female breasts. You have to watch the press conference. He made that face because she wanted to reveal details of her contract, and the lawyer told her not to. It's funny how a single out of context image can create a whole narrative.
Musically it is due to MHJ but commercially rich is due to Hybe getting their hands on those endorsement deals. Look at illit getting all these public and endorsement when they haven't debut. Plus Hybe literally paid MHJ to do her job. Hence, she could not have done it w/out Hybe. They own 80% after all.
the pacing and delivery of your jokes really fall short for me. lack of set up, awkward cut in music, punchline not making sense (like the lightstick joke at @4:08). otherwise great informational video
There was plagerisum with New Jeans and it was proven some have no idea of it and a few does such and a Mexican girl group Jeans ( don't know when they were popular ) or if they do anything about it. MHJ stated this when BTS are in the militarty and they can't say one words about it. MHJ kept stating in conference that its not about the money when its 100% about money. She wanted to destroy HYBE and BTS which I believe she can't. She planned to send New Jeans on hiatus and she was going destroy HYBE and get all their money then bring back New Jeans. New Jeans shouldn't have been brought up or BTS because this battle is between MHJ and HYBE.
I don't like min heejin but illit copying newjeans is so obvious and back when they started teasing the debut, everyone was saying that. Yes, min heejin or newjeans don't own y2k. But the similarities are undeniable and before min heejin went public with this, everyone knew that and would agree to that.
Exaxtly, the dirst time i heard magnetic, i thought of new jeans. In lucky girl syndrome's mv, they made one of the girls look like hanni. Illit looks like a knockoff newjeans and all the girls deserve better than that.
Nahhhh, y'all would say anything similar to nj is copy. Not everything orbit around u, yk. Learn to study concept first b4 using only feeling to judge smth u don't truly know👌👌👌
Than do u think ILLIT copied new jeans by hair and Makeup like ador said ?? I don’t believe that they were copied but I hope people aren’t dumb enough to think makeup and hair was copied cuz makeup and hair were basic on both sides and not a valid point
MHJ was doing alot of great work and HYBE was copying how MHJ does her magic. now that they figured why she is so popular and successful, they didn't need ehr anymore. if want to know everything, you have to know the contract between them, it will tell you everything. the time is coming for HYBE to pay her a HUGE amount of $$$, but they never intent to pay her HUGE amount, but if they fire her due to technicality they only have to pay her like 0.5% of the amount so...which is why HYBE is trying to put a label on her character. if you follow the Korean news, it is obvious who is winning and who is at fault. US media is doing lots of media play for HYBE as they own record companies in the US as well. now there is an English version of MHJ press conference for English speakers, i recommend everyone go check it out. imo, HYBE has become a $$$ making machine ( greed ) well know it will catch up to you someday and i think that someday has come. one thing that really creeps me out is the many of HYBE vids have cult or satanic symbols and hand gestures.
That press conference was unhinged. MHJ did not come up with an original concept. If you want to look something up, look up TLC and Aliyyah then tell me what magic she worked
I don't think Ador or Hybe wants NJ back, the group to toxic. Hybe just waiting for NJ to breach the contract, which they already did but Hybe just waiting till they sue the Ador.
HYBE isn’t a music label. Or an entertainment company. HYBE is more like Kakao, than it is like SM or JYP or YG. Why would HYBE have any creative control over any of their labels?
@@InternetsNathan One more thing: Ador is the only label that’s created from scratch other than Be Lift. But Ador is the only one created specifically for a person. Be Lift is a label created as a joint venture of two companies. I know you already know all this but I merely want to point out to illustrate a point. As such, each company which joined HYBE has a preexisting leadership team. Each of these leadership teams direct their own creative direction, such as whether to do a promo, when, whether to do a teaser, what kind, whether to do photo cards, what kind of alum or poster, etc. Resources to execute these are from their parent company, HYBE. This is the incentive for smaller pre existing labels to join a bigger conglomerate such as HYBE and Kakao. In HYBE’s case, a lot of them was independently owned by friends of the founder of HYBE. While in Kakao’s case the acquisitions are less friendly. Supports such as money, staff, material, and labour, among others which I won’t list since I think you get the idea, are obtained from each of their parent companies. Such as Kakao and HYBE, whose business encompasses A LOT MORE than kpop. If such control had been asserted towards Ador, I doubt they (and when I say “they” I know most kpop fans only think of Bang SH) would let her use the “This record surpasses BTS mega hit song Dynamite” phrase for 75 times in one press release alone. That’s just my thought.
@@HailToTheMeep In this case each of those labels you mentioned have creative control. However, to bring the conversation back to the topic at hand much like HYBE, Kakao could motion to remove someone in a leadership or creative position to appoint someone else so…
@@InternetsNathan Right. I just added a comment to share my thoughts. I am merely asking the question: If a huge conglomerate with a large variety of businesses to manage financially, would be inclined to meddle in such smaller scale operations such as a creative direction of a label. And if so what would the financial invectives be. Because no conglomerate would spent time tweaking creative outputs without any financial reasons. Thanks for the response. Been enjoying your content since I found BTS, was researching about them during the pandemic, and became more curious about kpop which by then had changed a lot from how it sounded during the 2nd gen, so was more interesting to me.
HYBE has been facing so many scandals of plagiarism/copying from style, concepts even mere fandom names esp in the 4 months. To me this lack of internal creativity and vetting just topped everything. I support MJN a lot because it takes a lot to collect put together and create or modify something in artistic way that is appealing to whole mass.. HYBE has become lazy in creativity and the low quality is becoming more& more clear. HYBE is becoming bolder in it response to poor behaviors " like who are you to challenge me, IAM HYBE". Does it not surprise everyone SM /JYP that have many groups, all have distinct colors, you can tell the difference this is SUJU, GG, SHINEE, EXO NCT or this is TWICE and this ITZY. HYBE needs to learn more and get over its obsession in destroying SM.
THIS!⬆🎯 HYBE is Bang Sihyuk and BSH is HYBE. Other labels may have their anti-artist sins but Hybe is something else. It's not that HYBE "has become lazy" but they are normalizing CHEAP, LAZY, EMPTY works, because Bang PD is not a creative man, he is a pure money man pretending to be a creative. HYBE doesn't care about music, or Kpop, or any pop music. Bang and pals just coypasta their way to the bank. Belift is 100% HYBE owned, and so far they have plagiarized two western indie artists, got their MASSIVE Hybe fandoms to bully and silence the victims, and use cheap lazy ai in ILLIT promo. Cheap, because nothing they make is meant to last a season. Everyone, including non-SHINee fans wondered out loud, why was a HYBE soloist covering Taemin's brand new VERY PERSONAL title song Guilty at GDA - when Taemin, who wanted to perform the song at GDA, was blocked from the event? Even worse, Big Hit casually appropriated Guilty, by willfully omitting Taemin's name in every video title uploaded to every platform, it took SHINee ifans protest before Hybe added Taemin's credit to the video. It was clearly an attempt to hijack Taemin's magnum opus. There is no precedence of a personal title song being robbed like that, in Kpop, or in US pop. NONE. HYBE now buy/grab whatever it wants from SM. The thing is, if HYBE could stab Taemin's heart in broad daylight, if a HYBE idol could eat Taemin's soul alive, nobody else stand a chance. Everyone kinda sensed that horrifying reality, but couldn't put it to words. So they just blame SM. But it was just HYBE eating Kpop's Ace of Aces for lunch. At least now we can see the entire view. I'm glad Korean citizens are calling for anti-trust/ anti-monopoly probe on HYBE the BULLY LEECH.

Media play is you right now, the fight is not about Keeping the annoying group, and the findings against her are not made up The group was already picked she didn't even do that
Whatever the drama is, the adult shouldn't involved the kids or even mentioning the groups name.. don't they ever think how awkward the relationship between the groups would be? Not mentioning hates from respective fandom...
LOL I like your buffet analogy. The whole thing just feel like one vicious little big man on a vengeance path. Bang PD is obviously obsessed with Lee Sooman's legacy, so obsessed he would plot to buy them or license them just to devour, digest, spit them out and destroy everything that is good about SM. Then he'll go whatever good music/artists that YG and JYP have.
Imagine making a gg and calling them New Blackpink. That's what happened with New Jeans. Jeans was already a pop group but from decades ago and in Mexico
I’m siding with Min Heejin. I’ve dealt with corporate leaders in the past. Sh*t, one of my best buddies owns his own corporation…and I can relate to how he wants to run his daily operations and have control over his business and financial affairs. So if MHJ is responsible for the success of NewJeans, let her buyout the remainder of her contract (or to terminate her contract). I’m sure she can find a lender to provide the money.
And then why didn't she do it alone, why didn't she use her own contacts and her own money to form a group like new jeans because she didn't form it without the help of hybe, it's because she obviously can't, if that had been the case this group would have had a medium success in Korea, but it would never have had international success without hybe, that is the reality that this woman's fans do not want to understand
She has the right to sell her shares but don't forget that HYBE sold shares at a discount price and she won't sell her shares (since her plan was to buy at least 50.1% shares of ador) but her searching for investors and potential future shareholders and not telling Bang PD about it is shady.
Companies who have subsidiaries they are pretty much copy each other cuz they're under one roof.
Where is Part 2?? By the way some people still didn't know who is Min Hee Jin, they thought that She doesn't have connections or well known outside K-pop Industry.
People live two-faced lives. This saga coming out this year is going to be an open eye for everyone and the music industry worldwide. No one can predict the future of NEW JEANS unless all of us are God the almighty or Sharman for those who think so. If the case is already in the hands of the law, let's wait and see who was right and who was wrong. Then, from there, we can judge. I know NJs won't disband, but MHJ is a 50/50% of her career as she is the one who who brought it to the public either for her gain or allegenation on hybe's reputation. But I can tell one has to go to jail.
Min Heejin has a point and is right to be upset. But how she has handled herself is inappropriate and unfortunately just part of business. It is Hybe's company they can do what they like in the end. If MHJ did nothing, NewJeans is already huge and would have been fine, her actions although she says they are for NewJeans have just hurt them.
If she didn't do anything, she'll be free from everything that been accused of. But do u think hybe really out here only to destroy their reputation if they don't really have smth fishy abt her from the first place??? 🤔🤔🤔

Sucked in.
No groups did Y2K before New Jeans? Stayc and Weeekly come to mind instantly.
yes but their music was quite similar to what most people think of when Kpop comes to mind, Upbeat, strong, and in your face.

No. Illit is literal NJ 2.0
It's VERY obvious
And about BM and BP, there may be years in between their debuts, but if we talk purely similarities then to me, they are more similar than Illit and NJ.
its so much to wrap my head around, just sucks NewJeans will certainly take a significant hit in some way from all this mess D:

She is evil. Anyone who uses shamans and witches are from the devil.
stop it the only real victims here is new jeans
BTS aren’t being investigated again. That was a rumour that a known lying reporter made and people ran with it.
@ferximochola7596 yeah it’s so awful, they are literally serving their country and these rumours are starting again 🫠.
Just trying to spread the rumours about the government investigating it again are false, because so many antis are just believing more crap and running with it 🙄
Because it's not true. Hybe is the one using BTS (and every group under their label) as a shield to distract the public from their very petty actions.
There are some De Ja Vu on this (or some sort)
Former LOONA creative director Jaden Jeong leave the company after BBC (the new management) decided to scrap off the LOONAverse concept storyline (though the preference of concept still exist in the later releases from "So What" to "Flip that!", the storyline never progresses) aside from problems with the agency's finances and debt, which led to the cracks began to form and even the mistreatment of LOONA began to reveal.
So sad 😢
I think NJ are going with their mom if this "divorce" ever happens lol
Well, the design and brand of New Jeans, the aesthetics and even the choreography are copied from the Mexican band Jeans. You can look it up yourself. MHJ is only good at plagiarizing.
It seems like a lot of people haven't watched the conference...
I hope people watch the conference from beginning to end and then talk about it.
Articles distributed by sites with messy translations like allkpop focus only on what they find provocative during the two-hour discussion.
Most Koreans who watched the conference did so without any bias,
as many of them didn't even know who Min Hee-jin was.
Despite differing opinions on Min Hee-jin's somewhat intense tone, if you delve into the content of her words,
you'll see that Hybe was consistently countered with evidence and arguments.
However, when typical Koreans encountered this news, there were likely more people uninterested in K-pop or idols,
and many who had just learned who Min Hee-jin was.
Therefore, they would have viewed the issue without any bias and focused on the content,
regardless of her appearance or tone being standing out and different from norm. (Even though that is how she dress even on other interviews and award shows)
Sometimes when you hear stories from international fans, it seems like they think Koreans live their lives entirely focused on K-pop,
but in reality, there are more people who aren't interested at all.
The difference in perspective between international fans and ordinary Koreans stems from several factors:
the inability to understand the language, the slower access to news, and the mistranslation or deliberate sensationalization of news by companies translating these articles,
resulting in international fans not receiving the accurate news.
Koreans typically encounter news about Min Hee-jin or FiftyFifty-related news about once an hour,
and these news pieces are often presented neutrally without taking sides.
Additionally, many Korean TH-camrs neutrally analyze both sides of the argument and explain the correct and incorrect points,
allowing the public to make their own decisions based on the content.
Min Hee-jin didn't selectively show KakaoTalk messages to prove only what she wanted,
and at least she appeared more truthful than Hybe's official stance.
Issues like forcing CD purchases randomly and the lack of uniqueness maintained by each label, even though innovative marketing methods like NewJeans have been utilized,
leading to the homogenization of the entire K-pop style...
But I want to add:
It's not just about the money, and it's not just about the future of K-pop.
But kpop fans in general been following this issue since the beginning. They been there since the first statement from hybe any mhj was published. So they have more context on this situation. With more knowledge abt this whole thing with also non-bias pov, I believe most ppl know how this is going. Instead of watching this video watch her press conference... It was all red flag type she indirectly admitted that there was conflict regarding shares equity.

The fact that here in the comments there are both stans of Hybe or Ador/Min Heeji makes me laugh so much.
At least give them the opportunity to talk about what's going on privately. If the parents don't like what they hear, at least they can say they tried.

This. I felt the same. The cult and stuff is media play by MHJ to try and hide the facts of her misdeeds such as the renegotiating of contracts, put options, asking 200 million in share payment. Taking all the trainees from source music leaving them an “empty shell”. Etc etc
A lot of what you mentioned will be covered in Part 2

MHJ FIGHTING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, I am looking for anything that HYBE has found but so far nothing yet
Because they are smart enough to let MHJ keep flapping her gums and bury herself.

It was Heeins idea to not pre promote and come boom! out. Stop blaming stuff on Hybe, they are not a label, it's ADOR that did all the decisions, that literally why she demanded a new label, because she wanted to make these decisions independently.
@@skarbuskreska Thank you! These kids are just blindly following this twisted vixen. The damage she has done to her own industry is enormous.
HYBE gave proof to the police and this will go to court, so let’s see what evidence HYBE has. They found evidence and it’s no joke.
So far there hasn't been any solid proof of anything so I'm looking forward to something

I’m making a Part 2 to explain on more detail
Ok so where is the part 2 ??
Still not here 😂
First, congrats on not jumping the gun and took your time for some facts to come through before covering this.
Why are there alot of streer vendor analysts out there?
Talking abt not jumping the gun but all u saying is blaming hybe. Just say u hate them and leave. It's okay😭😭😭

I feel like min heejins career might be over, but especially with new jeans , their concept from the start was so well done that It’d be a loss for the industry to lose her, if it did majorly come from her conception
Yeah sadly I think that’s how this unfolds
Actually, New jeans is thriving. Public opinion regarding this has shifted to MHJ side in Korea. That is what's most important about all of this. MHJ has never looked better.
SHE COPIE A JAPONESE GIRL GROUP AND THIS GIRL GROUPS THEY ALL LOOKS ALIKES
MHJ THE CREATIVE GENIUS is obsessed with intriguing concepts.
ETA has reference to the terrorist group named ETA. Now inactive ETA was run by Micheal.

There are some 18+ scenes In cool with you
In the past, MHJ once posted her wall decor. There were photos of the child actresses who worked in famous 18+ movies. These movies are based on sexu....zating minor, ped0phila.
Doesn't mean all those allegations abt her ain't ture. Now that hybe already repported her. The only way to find out and reveal everything is on the court 🤷🤷♀️
Times were better when it was just Bighit
the lawyer was CONCERNED 😭😂😂 13:27

Damn I need to go to a improv class or something?
If getting mistreated by Hybe means not getting sent to coachella unprepared, then NewJeans is pretty fortunate.
But i think there is a fact check needed, bc NJ couldnt promote. Hybe saids it.
Now NewJeans went Live. I don't know what's going to happen and I'm scared.
I’m not scared, because no harm will come to me
But I AM super curious as to how this will all play out 😬 bc I have literally no idea
That's why people shouldn't make these kinds of videos if the case is in early stage and still on-going.
Aging like milk I must say
*Let this play in court and support all the groups Equally just to prove a point that YOU nor the Groups ARE THE PROBLEM.*
Mhj copied as well
Step away from the meth.
hey love your videos!!! could you please make a video on how kiss of life was formed?
I don't think Ador or Hybe wants NJ back, the group to toxic. Hybe just waiting for NJ to breach the contract, which they already did but Hybe just waiting till they sue the Ador.
I need the part 2❤
HYBE isn’t a music label. Or an entertainment company. HYBE is more like Kakao, than it is like SM or JYP or YG. Why would HYBE have any creative control over any of their labels?
They appoint those who will lead in those creative control and have ultimate control and decision making if they want
@@InternetsNathan Genuine question: So do you think Kakao has creative control over SM, IST, Starship, EDAM, Bluedot, High Up, and Antenna?

Utter nonsense.
Hybe wants to replace New Jeans through ILit. Not Fair. They copy everything.
They will terminate her contract for sure
This is the best Kdrama Korea ever produced. Better than Queen of Tears lol
Companies who have subsidiaries they are pretty much copy each other cuz they're under one roof.
Where is Part 2?? By the way some people still didn't know who is Min Hee Jin, they thought that She doesn't have connections or well known outside K-pop Industry.
Coming soon!
Its funny that what she wore that day sold out online.
I can tell people will be creating a lot of memes
And thank god MHJ finally stepped down as CEO today. Lmao Ws all around.
