Who tf comes up with these topics? "Lack of Black Male Talent on main roster" ppv/ple? The draws and the crowd favorites should be in the main roster ppv/ple. The color does not matter. Any type of fan will always favor quality over equality.
Monte’s Vontavius Porter?
WWE got a lack of Asian Male Wrestlers in general. If anyone has the right to be upset about the lack of race and representation in WWE, it's us Asian people. 🤷♂️
Ok so, I want Melo vs ford for a title.
I loved fight forever, but yep. Lacking content. Let's also talk about how wwe has released games with characters before they changed too. But aew needed more modes, more options on release. Dlc was fine to release cuz it's a fighting game. That's how they do. They just gotta do better next time. I want the new game to be similar in gameplay, but with more. I still play it
Really annoys me that this whole "race" thing is even coming up. The requirements are so picky it's stupid.
When was the last Japanese male wrestler featured in a PLE?
When was the last Asain Male wrestler?
When was the last British Male Wrestler?
Stop making it so specific and just understand that having people just for the sake of filling a quota isn't healthy.
I agree 💯
Hard agree - I don't like the title of this video either as it is perpetuating that same notion.
Being aware that certain demographics are not being represented is good. That's all it is. IT actually seems like you guys are making the bigger deal out of it than it is, and it sort of gives us what kind of character you are as well.
Pro wrestling has gone through the ringers with rampant racism and bigotry. Now that companies are aware of this, and trying to do better, yah'll are grasping your white hoods.
@@RageyRage82 couldn't be further from the truth. This is them crying racism when there isn't.
Jade and Bianac are hosting badblood. Have featured in many PLEs both as single and tag team... yet because it's not men it doesn't count...
@@MadHatterJimmy they really did not say it was racism, as they do not suspect it is intentional. It just goes to show how you do not listen, because you have the privilege of the benefit of the doubt.
It is simply being proactive. Just goes to show how very unaware, and ignorant you, specifically you, and all the others whining about it, are.
You are racist. Simple as that.
WWE is more diverse now than it's ever been. Demanding token representation is disgusting for all involved.
Typically, mcmahon follower thing to say.
@@Payaso_M13so you think tokenization of minorities is a good thing?
@clyde-s-wilcox the tokenism is literally already the problem so what are you talking about???
@@Payaso_M13 these wwe fans are hella racist it’s no coincidence all the black superstars end up leaving the company
How is being aware how talent in a global company being booked = demanding token representation?
Where anywhere was it said people want the wwe to hire or make someone the designated black guy who wins ppv matches?
Using words you don't even understand...
I’m sorry, but it has nothing to do with race. If fans are this upset about it, buy their merchandise and show interest in their characters. Why are you going to feature people who aren’t over and aren’t moving merchandise? Nothing to do with someone’s skin, absolutely ridiculous. The world has gone insane with this PC crap
This man says this as if HHH vs Booker T didn’t happen, this man acting like we didn’t just see the Vince doc with the all black and sometimes underaged “ring boys” , mana acting like WWE didn’t drop the ball with Bobby twice 😂 keep crying thin skinned whitey , but you support trump too 🤡
He can book the black wrestlers better then
@@jdog7673he can't even book a good show with the established top card, he's not gonna do any better when he has to start focusing on race pandering
Has everything to do with race. Black people are expected to support non-Black merchandise, but it is never reciprocated. Target or any retail store proves my point because the Black character merchandise is always on clearance. Lashley's life achievements were undeniable, so WWE was forced to push him as a main eventer, and unlike Brock Lesnar, they still made him lose to inferior talent. Carmelo Hayes was pushed to be the next premiere talent but since putting him on Smackdown, he has lost matches and needed to cheat to win. The answer here is that Vince McMahon had his problems, but he was fairer than Nick Khan and HHH, a man who would never count the lights for a Black wrestler even if they had an impeccable record. If you say the Rock, I am going to layeth the smacketh down on you because he is Canadian/Samoan.
@@Steven-cf1ty Oh please, WWE is doing great rn
How many black employees does Cultaholic have?has anyone made them “aware” of this?
Good point 🤔
With the abundance of black male talent on NXT, I’m sure we’ll see this change over the next few years. Really interested to see what the main event scene looks like 5 years from now.
There's currently 3 african american world champions, another non white with Jey, Oba in NXT, if we want to count the speed champ thats another foreign champ, Trick was also recently champ.
Idk man I think people are being given opportunities don't know what this is about...
What are the 3 world championship that are black? ...cause nxt is a Canadian lol Cody is a uh oh oreo doesn't truly count lol and Gunther is definitely not black lol nic nemeth is Champ in tna he definitely wonder breaded up lol aew is Brian lol so what 3 world champions you talkin bout lol

It has nothing to do with race, it's about who looks like a star/somebody and presentation. Trick and Oba will be top stars when they move to Raw/SD.
Bobby Lashley never stopped looking like a star
@@swagglikebillyjoel I've commented on numerous videos saying similar about Bobby.
Unless it was personal choice, WWE did F up not keeping him. Even at this late stage, he has name value and something to offer.
This is false.
I'm quite old compared to many fans, but I remember Cena coming in. He was liked, then pushed to the moon, then HATED relentlessly by everyone over 15 years old. They continued to push.
My point is that they can push literally anybody. They appear to only be pushing white men or the bloodline right now. Why? Who knows. They ate giving karrion screen time no literally no ROI.
@@swagglikebillyjoel Charisma vacuum. Love his work but the guy can't cut a promo for shit.
Oba is Nigerian which is different than Black. Based on what WWE has done to Carmelo Hayes on the main roster, I highly doubt Trick Willie has a shot. At least Hayes was able to successfully defend his titles in NXT. Williams has been a transitional champion every time.
Oh god here we go... 🙄

Hate to be that guy too but this seems to be a narrative especially pushed by AEW people who conveniently ignore the fact Swerve is the only black talent to main event a pay per view despite all the talented black wrestlers on the male and female rosters.
Do you believe any of the other black talent on the AEW roster should've main evented a PPV thus far minus Swerve? Swerve's main evented four times and he's been stellar each time- especially against Ospreay, Danielson and Hangman.
Wild how someone as green as Brit Baker was given a world title on AEW but a proven veteran lol Athena was not…
No disrespect or anything, but It is interesting that how WWE handles their black talent for the PPVs as a talking topic, yet isn't AEW in a similar situation as well since isn't Swerve the only black talent that wrestles on like every AEW PPV or at least most of them?
@@Jamieb1994 how do most white people view Swerve Strickland be completely honest
@@thegreatestshowonearth7623boring, no character/gimmick, zero charisma, just a collection of racial stereotypes and trends
As a black man I don’t or never thought it was a race thing. I think we gotta have black talent in position to fill those roles and we don’t have that right now. We don’t have any black Bron Breakkers or Roman Reigns at the moment. I think guys like Melo and Trick will get to those rolls and the Obi guy down in NXT now can definitely become a main event star but we have to wait till that develops. Nobody wants to see Apollo Crews in a main PPV right now just cause he is black.
Yea. Oba and je'von will be future stars on the main roster. Don't want to rush them just yet.
@@EmberMcLain87 agreed. I forgot about the Young OG. I just recently got on to him when he was in 4 way for the title
People just like to whine. Especially the "special" ones, while they conveniently forget that Jade/Bianca are tag champs, the most decorated WWE tag teams are black/Samoan with The New Day and Usos, Woods and Kofi are currently heavily featured on RAW with their story and woods has a IC title match, Melo is featured on Smackdown with Andrade and L.A.Knight, Oba is NA champ, Trick is again in the NXT title match, Je'von was put in a match with Orton for the swap to the CW network, Kelani Jordan is NA Women's champ, Nia is one of the Women's single champs (or is she not black enough as a Samoan?). And then they also ignore all the latino and japanese talent that is also on the roster.
@@DarkSun123456789 I’m with you overall which is why I don’t believe it’s about race. But I do think the article was specifically taking about black men on main roster not featured in the latest PPV events which if you look at the card is true. But again with the caveat to me of there is not any black wrestlers on male side that is ready for those spots at this time. The future will be different
Careful. Those kinds of statements anger the white liberals.
Changing devs doesn’t surprise me with how the roadmap has been so far. Initial features that were promised were not there at launch and added later so from that perspective it makes sense. The DLC is too expensive and the base game has been practically being given away.
With how much they feature Bianca and the obviously huge plans for Jade I don't see why this would really be a race issue.
This problem will self correct as Carmelo continues to do his thing and as Trick and Oba Femi make their way to the main roster.
I will say that they dropped the ball with Bobby's last year there though.
Bobby *AND* The Street Profits... AND Cedric Alexander... AND B-Fab... AND Asante Thee Adonis... AND EVEN R-Truth.
Letting Bobby leave without a WrestleMania 1v1 match the last 2 years was dumb, especially when beforehand Brock jobbed him like a small guy when he’s bigger than Brock. Then we got Brock / Omos instead lol.
The Bianca run has had ups and downs she had a long run but losing in almost record time to Becky damaged her character permanently, the women’s tag division is a mess tbh all of the tag divisions are currently a mess and a heel turn from one of them is so obvious it’s a for gone conclusion (could still be good if done right though). Black and Latino talent right now are either supporting cast or undercard and it’s not from a lack of talent. I’m hoping they do something with the people they currently have on the roster rather than waiting to call up more people The New Day are doing something, Melo’s doing something, Cedric’s still with the company and idk where he is same as Ashante, The Profits you could still have a singles run and be in a tag team WWE will never understand that logic for whatever reason, Naomi’s kinda spinning her wheels a bit. Idk it just still feels off center of what we should be seeing.
Brock and omos was a punishment to Brock from hunter for the way he acted on the first vince exit. And since when has anyone cared about Cedrick Alexander or bfab at all? Now Bobby and the profits is the only actual argument for right now. As for Bobby not being at mania one opponent was bray and those problems led to brays death
In fairness there definitely could be more but at the same time Melo is getting featured every week in a big series every week, Xavier Woods is going through a big story development, Apollo Crews has gotten back to back wins and Jade and Bianca are tag champs and featured very prominently.
Odyssey Jones being a scumbag and Bobby Lashey leaving done no favours either as well as Big E’s injury there’s some bad luck in there too.
The good thing about Big E is he might be cleared to compete soon. He hasn't but all signs are pointing to him being cleared.
Great job naming the 4-6 black people featured in a company of hundreds! Wow!
@@hotspot171do you know any other black people prominent enough to be pushed over the likes of Bron, Sami, Jey, Gunther etc. Trick has potential but is far too green.
@@cubeddoubled1543 the problem is literally in the question you’re asking. Wwe doesnt develop their black talent enough for anyone to feel like they are as prominent as those you mentioned they have constantly undermined most of them until like last year. Plus there is clearly a numbers advantage so of course there would be more examples of non black superstars that are featured more prominently. Can we use logic here?
@@hotspot171 WWE is a business, why would they put focus on say Angelo Dawkins who is a good performer but stagnant in merch sales and crowd reaction over a younger Bron Breakker, who in less than six months is more over than a large majority of the roster. If fans don’t react it or buy merch WWE won’t push simple as that.
F representation. Skill should be what these performers are "judged" by, not race.
Calm down racist
This. Not trying to be racist but a good % of NBA Players are black. It’s not an equality thing, its just that they are the best at the profession.

I can't believe Stadium Stampede was a dlc for the game instead of it's own standalone release.
Free to Play Stadium Stampede Battle Royale might not have saved the game, but it likely would've performed a lot better. Especially since the only other wrestling battle royal, Rumbleverse, had recently been taken down, leaving a massive wrestling battle royal shaped void AEW could've filled.

@@Handsome_Black You all do as well. Black talents are doing relatives well. What's the problem here? Should they have every single championship at once? Should we fire everyone in the promotion who isn't black? What do you want?
Are they really racist when the female talent is majority poc?
I can speak on the lack of Black Talent. But everybody's way too sensitive.
WWE needs to look at not only Black Males but also Asian and Latino male talents. Why can’t the LWO or New Day be on some type of upward trajectory? I am sure Akira Tozowa would like to evolve his character from the silly character he has been the last 10 years.
So weird how all the Latino talent circle around the LWO. Wish WWE did not do that most of the time. Put Hayes / Andrade together in a group after their rivalry.
New Day are literally 12-time tag team champions and held the record for longest reign ever😂
They're going to address the issue? So we have to assume any future black champion has been gifted the title because of their skin color instead of earning it with talent.
the skin color of the talents on the main roster is not an issue at all the only issue is even bringing it up. when a black male talent gets over and gets a compelling storyline behind them they will have those spots. with the amount of black talent coming up in NXT right now, IF you want to bother making this a issue i really don’t think it will be in a few years.
for me though skin color means nothing just talent and charisma, whoever has those deserves to be in the top spots, it’s as simple as that.
Oba Femi main roster debut incoming.
I'm sure the comment section will have a pleasant discussion on this matter.

So we just ignoring Carmello Hayes and The Street Profits now? also give it time and Trick Williams, Oba Femi and others from NXT will fill out spots on the main roster.
Carmelo has not been in a 1-on-1 match on any PLE in 2024. He was in the Rumble and Money in the Bank, and that's it. Street Profits have been in some tag and multi-man matches but not singles like the video outlined. Trick and Oba will probably be ignored once they make the main roster like everyone else. Heck, Trick was replaced by Ethan Page the second he was available.

the lack of black female hosts in cultaholic is extremely worrying
How many African employees does cultaholic have? Please take a look at yourselves
There’s a Samoan dynasty at the top of the card or does it have to be darker skin wrestlers specifically? Nia Jax, Roman Reigns, the New Blood line, Jey Uso is now IC champ. Move Trick up to the main roster if you want to tick boxes but we’ve seen a ton of talent at the top of the card and that’s the key word. No one is holding down top “talent” regardless of ethnic origin. So show me talent for the top of the card because if Bobby Lashley is a benchmark I’ll show you a Trick Williams who trumps Bobby in terms of promo ability and in ring (2024) ability.
Samoan's are probably not b enough. One guy further up even said Oba Femi doesn't count, cause he is Nigerian and that's "different" than b.
LMFAO.
Sounds to me the black males on the main roster need to step up. NXT is almost all black males now. It’s not a race issue it’s a talent issue Carmelo Hayes is phenomenal and I love watching him every week and i wanna see him take that US title and become the top of the company and he’s working his way to it. Hell the new day doing the woods turn slowly is just phenomenal
If you’re good, you’re good. If you’re entertaining, you’re entertaining.
It has literally NOTHING to do with the color of someone’s skin. Pushing narratives like this are actually kind of shit and it’s annoying AF. If we’re really concerned about it then we’d also be upset about the lack of Asian, middle eastern, Native American, and many other talent. But we aren’t.
Cause it only ever matters when it's about black. Yet nobody talks about who commits the most crimes against asians in the US.
People are stupid. Your race doesn't matter. If you can put on good matches and move merch, you tend to be on ppvs. If not, then you're probably not on ppvs. It's that simple.
But Swerve is being over paid….
Lots of racist take sin the comment section, very sad to see. I was hoping that Carmelo, Andrade and La Knight 3 way at Bad Blood, Carmelo is getting a lot of TV time and push, so he's the main one to feature right now,. Then we gonna have Trick Williams coming up. Lets hope Triple H gives them the treatment they deserve.
When was the last time someone from Cornwall was on a ple, oh never and no ones cares!
The Bad Blood card is very diverse and that's a good thing. You've got multiple talent from different backgrounds and nationalities. Rhea is Australian, Priest is of Puerto Rican dissent. Finn Balor is Irish, Drew is Scottish. Nia Jax, Roman, Solo and Fatu are Samoan and the hosts of the show are black women. I don't see an issue. Nobody should be judged by the colour of their skin, only judged by what they bring to the table for WWE. Rewards in wrestling should be given on merit.
Oh good, affirmative action to PLEs.
In the next 5 years, health and development willing, Oba Femi will be a main roster world champion and a face of the company.
Hopefully they dont try to push someone who isn't ready (hayes) as a bandaid

I’m black…. Idgaf.
Give me a damn story, it’ll soon be time for the likes of Trick and Carmello ❤
NXT have some of the most promising talent I’ve ever seen in years who are white, black, latino, Samoan…. Give praise to Shawn Michaels.
Trick, the guy who was jobbed out to Ethan Page, or Carmelo, the guy who has not had a singles match on any 2024 PLE?
I mean tbh Carmelo Hayes vs Andrade Match 7 should be on a PLE. But like there aren’t many singles superstars right now in even the mid card for WWE. Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins are in the tag division. Kofi and Xavier seem to be heading towards something but I think they’ll string that out. They completely gave up on Omos. I think the only other black male superstars on the main roster is R-Truth and Apollo Crews(completely forgot about Apollo originally).
NXT has great representation. At WM almost all titles went to Hispanic wrestlers so why are people complaining? Why isn't the NBA worrying about white, Hispanic or Asian representation?
The scope of representation shouldn’t just be Males in a 1 on 1 PLE match. Bianca and Jade have had recent PLE matches. Bianca also won the tripe threat with Asuka and Flair at Summerslam last year. I’m all for more black representation if there’s a good story being told but to specifically limit the point to a male black wrestler in a 1 on 1 match is a bit ridiculous…..
I think that the issue of WWE not booking Black Male talents on PLEs is overblown.
For 1, PLEs are no PPVs. PLEs are just Raw/ SD made to look bigger due to their location and perception.
2nd, Right now WWE doesn't have any Black male talent that qualifies for the ICWs quantifiers but NXT is full of them, Melo is doing good, the women are killing it. Samantha, Alicia, Byron are doing great. The future is bright IMO.
Which singles star is being over looked right now? I hate these narratives. WWE is a meritocracy and will always be that way because we choose the stars not them.
SRS offered $40k to job to a black wrestler on a PLE to bring back representation.
Green is the only color that matters in business.
This will not change.
Anything could look racist when there’s people concerned about inclusion.
First iff all there is plenty. Second colour does not matter. Americans ALWAYS focus on the wrong issue. Ffs. Get a better education system.
WWE pushes Black wrestlers (typically men) as bafoons and comedy acts. Example: R-Truth and the New Day. Truth is a fucking jester. The New Day, while a great team, have been presented as the smiling, happy-go-lucky babyfaces for the past 10 years. Nobody really takes R-Truth seriously, and probably never will. And nobody takes New Day seriously as WHC or Undisputed Championship material. So, unless WWE hire someone new and push them to the moon, this will be a problem for years to come
Ppl have nothing better to do in their lives than just complain about everything???
Skin colour doesn’t matter what maters is your ability to he good enough to be in the main spot
It’s a at least a good thing that they acknowledge it and the wrestlers in the back are open minded especially Hunters best friend Shawn so hopefully it does change. I’m a big fan of Carmelo Hayes I see him as a future world champ.
Should someone tell the NHL about the kack of bkack talent. I mean Jamaica had a bobsled team.
The thing about the Fight Forever game is it's very limited & to me, it's just one of those games where I don't see myself playing for hours, but only playing if I wanna kill some time. I also find the controls for the game complicated as well.
WWE really does need to have representation for others as champion it helps gets fans invested and stuff when they can see someone who is like them and that it could be them one day should people be rhis worried about it no but still
It's not yukes fault Kenny can't over see good games lol jus because your a gamer head doesn't mean you should be overseeing a video game lol some ppl are players and some are developers and there is a tiny few that are both and sorry Kenny you are not one who can do both lol
They shouldnt change developers, the game just needs more polish. Thats everyones main concern, how the game looked and the glitches are what people's main complaints were
The fact that people need to look up these stats is sad. So people should be featured just because of their skin color?

LMAO WWE being aware of a lack of black male talent on main roster PPV'S see this is way I'm glad vince is gone from WWE because IF he was still in-charge he'd forget this and move on AEW changing game developers well you shouldn't have released a game that nobody's playing 1-year after it came out Kazuchika Okada vs bryan danielson on dynamite tomorrow is gonna suck especially that the continental title is going to be defended for a short time AEW'S creative is a fucking mess why have that title be defended at all and you see why people have stopped watching AEW in favor of WWE the creative is just as bad and as confusing tony khan is becoming vince mcmahon it's already happening just by awful creative decisions.
Wwe has always had this problem.
Lol, nobody is complaining about this.
Nobody you know
@dpittman8791 Oh yeah, it's totally the top buzz on r/Squared Circle and loads of social media campaigns to get this changed. 😑
I never said it wasn't an odd issue that happened, but I'm not so quick to start assigning blame and throw ppl under the bus given everything that has happened in the last 2 years of massive changes. I don't sit there and do analytics of all ppl under contract just to find something to complain about.

Who ever wrote that paper made a typo Indianapolis is no longer going to be the home of the “first” two night summerslam. It will still hold a two night summerslam but the first is going to MetLife for 2025
"the lack of male talent on main roster WWE PLEs" come on, you're already talking so slow and you still forget the word "black" that is the main focus of all this? xD
