    I APPRECIATE YOUR NIGHT TIME SHOW CASING OF VEHICLES...
    I'M PARTICULARLY INTERESTED IN WHAT THE LIGHTS LOOK LIKE AT NIGHT..........
    IT'S JUST AS IMPORTANT TO BE SEEN AS IT IS TO SEE ........
    YOU ARE ONE OF THE VERY FEW WHO SHOW CARS AT NIGHT!

    A few point to add that I do not believe you covered... All the lights on the 2024 Prius Limited are LED. There is not one replaceable bulb, literally - not one. The headlights are bi-LED. They have just one "bulb" and do not change intensity. Instead the LED has a mechanical part that moves in front the the LED array and acts like a blind to either block some of the light (low beans) or let it all shine through. I am actually quite impressed with the light output. I took delivery of my 2024 Limited AWD and so far have very few complaints. I would dare say its shaping up to be the best car I have owned., based on the 2K miles I have on it. lol I liked the video, thanks for sharing it. BTW, What camera do you use? Its amazing!

    I’ve been waiting for this one. Thank you, Mike. You always cover details that most (if not all) reviewers miss and that is just one of the reasons I await your coverage. I can’t wait to see more footage of this car. 😎

    That does looks really pretty at night with the lighting definitely would need some extra lighting in the very back and inside but it is calming inside also

    The biggest design flaw of this vehicle is the gauge cluster. Idk why Toyota chose to change something that was not broken. Not only is the viewing perspective awkward with that screen and the steering wheel, but the info displayed on the screen looks very convoluted. The design and the execution of the digital gauge on other toyota vehicles is a lot more intuitive and modern looking.

    • @mrxman581
      @mrxman581 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I'm 5'-11" and have no issues with seeing the gauge cluster and having a comfortable driving position. You can simplify the data that shows up on the gauge cluster too.
      BTW, the Prius has always had the gauge cluster close to the bottom edge of the windshield so that it serves as a HUD. This new setup does the same thing.

    • @Painted_J
      @Painted_J ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The answer is simple, they designed this and the bz4x to have a steer by wire yoke design, which is why they could have gotten away with this gauge design. Obviously something happened during production that didnt allow them to produce this cars with the yoke and its why we are stick with this problem. Still a great cat but clearly designed for a yoke

      @@mrxman581 I agree. Going from a HUD RX to this has been a smooth transition. No issues with placement and I don’t miss the HUD tech. This just works, and works well.

    I love mine ! Im 6ft 240lbs. It's a little tight as expected . Everything else is perfect . I see a few complaints about the instrument cluster . Me frankly, i rarely use it . I know what 55 and 75 feel like ...lol And when i do , it's to maintain battery power and silent mode in my neighborhood .

    Thank you very much! This is very helpful. One of my main concerns with the new Prius design was if it has sufficient front and rear lighting. During the day, it looks like it would not be enough, but your video shows it to be fine. The interior of all the new Toyotas that are black are not great at night. I keep a flashlight in the front, and one in the cargo space.

    Great video! I was curious about how the dash and exterior looks at night. They don’t show it on Toyota’s website anymore. Those were some of their most intriguing photos IMHO. The low beams are so bright, maybe the high beams just don't seem much brighter in comparison? They probably could reach farther though. Just a thought. thanks Mike 👍🏽

    I wish it had more lights inside. That seems kind of weird that it doesn’t have some kind of a basic LED light to help you find stuff that’s in the dark. I guess I have to use the Flashlight app on my phone that seems not right but I’ll add some lighting. I get that car.

    I like the lighting on the new Prius for the most part. I prefer not to have lightning everywhere. That being said I would add the following.
    1. Light the center cubby w/hidden compartment because it's one of the places i use the most to put stuff while driving
    2. Add lighting to the rear seat footwell area like the front
    3. Be able to change the color of the ambient lighting
    4. Add a second light to the opposite side in the cargo area.
