I love watching the Doctorly channel and Michelle LabMuffin beauty! Another channel I really enjoy is Dr. Sam Ellis. I've been watching her for years, and her videos are very informative, honest, and evidence-based. I am so proud of her skincare line Prequel and how effective, gentle, and no-nonsense it is. When I'm dealing with any sort of skin issue, I combine Doctorly and Dr. Sam Ellis's videos to gather information from multiple dermatologists. I appreciate that while sometimes the individual product recommendations may differ, but the underlying core advice is the same. Michelle Wong's book is on my Christmas wishlist, and I'm really looking forward to reading it!
I've been religiously watching Dr. Shah and Dr. Maxfield (doctorly) and Dr. Idriss on youtube for a whiiiile now and they are absolutely amazing with their information, advice and recommendations!!
I love her book, this book is not only super informative, it’s beautiful with all the pictures. I have rosacea, IBS and other, it’s very true when IBS and other are in control my rosacea is way better 💛 Thank James, I love sciences!
Ahhh I love your vids, especially educational vids like this! Like you said, with all the misinformation that spreads (more so on TikTok), it’s so refreshing to hear the facts! Thank you as always James 🙌🏻🙏🏻🤍
Dr Sha's and Dr Maxfield's hyperpigmentation video was a godsend for me. It explains the physiology beautifully and the steps to treat it at each stage. The hyperpigmentation pyramid was my skincare bible.
We need more people like this telling us truth! Just finished reading 'The Skin Radiance Recipe' by Mrs. D. Its fascinating what they hide from society.
James, I always find great value in your videos. Thanks for taking the time to make them to be educational and informative, and at the same time enjoyable.🙂
James my Mom has rosacea, and it’s really bad..she is low maintenance. She washes her face with Purity by Philosophy and uses Confidence in a cream from It Cosmetics. I would LOVE a rosacea survival guide, like your top 5 products etc. please please please help 💞
I've learned sooo much from you James! Your channel was my number 1 comfort channel during quarentine 😊 Do you have any brands/products of Korean skincare without fermented ingredients?
I've atopic dermatitis and usually I manage it well, it gets worse during colder months. And the "treat it like it's fked" is amazing tip for this too. Soothing, calming and barrier repair are the 1st priority. Only then the "actives" and usually I look for the weaker versions (eg. vit C esters and not pure ascorbic acid etc). The worst thing you can do to your skin is keep it irritated for prolonged time. Treat it like it's a baby and you'll be golden!
Is the mirconeedling system safe for skin of color? I had one inoffice microneedling session with RF, and it was totally a disaster! I developed severe hyperpigmimtation and white bumps all over the needles marks I learned later that the doctor went super deep for my skin tone. That was 2 years ago. l. Knowing the benefits of microneedling, I want to give it another chance with a gentle approach. And I am not willing to pay the hefty inoffice price to get a disaster!
You can use Tret with rosacea if you are careful! - I do! (I have Type 1) - I am very careful with it around my cheeks and I don't rub it in hard. I also do it about 4 times a week and then off 3 days to give my skin a break. And of course if I am irritated, I don't use it again until my skin calms. I make sure not to use vitamin c at night and I don't use glycolic acid on the same day as Tret, ever. Any serums I apply before Tret I apply at a minimum of 30 minutes before the Tret, sometimes longer. (And use less than you think you need!)
I'm only consuming skincare content on youtube (feel like insta/tiktok etc is FILLED with misinformation) and YOU, Dr. Shah and Dr. Maxfield (doctorly) and Dr. Idriss are the only people i 100% trust with skincare advice
Ive Been thinking about getting this there are lots of adverts on TH-cam and Facebook with massive discounts at moment are there fakes and dangers for where you buy this product??
Stamping my skin with Banish pen totally ruined my skin. It left me with permanent texture of my skin, which looks as if I had large pores, but in reality it's those tiny holes from stamping that just didn't heal properly.
James, I have to know how you got your background redness down the point that you can barely see it! I've taken that same advice from Doctorly of being more ginger with my skin, and the background redness improved but there's still more background redness that doesn't double as a cute blush lol 😆
lately ive seen lots(LOTS) of tiktoks that show makeup thats "not fda approved" and thats "fda approved" - its so annoying to see them all the time - and anyone with two brain cells can logically come to the conclusion that not every single product(anything) thats being sold needs to be approved by a regulatory body
I recommend AliceintheRabbitHole as she gives good information in well thought out videos, presenting her personal experiences with products alongside the scientific literature, all while being entertaining and relatable. She's one of those TH-camrs whose videos I always look forward to.
I follow a lot of of dermatologists on TH-cam who are really reputable and they are slamming the use of this do it yourselves at home device im really conflicted as the advice on using this is so divided.
Thank you so much for a calmer background. When you use a background with a lot of colors/products, it is distracting, detracts from you and detracts from the product you are endorsing. Thank you so very much!🎉
PS. Please fact check me, but if you research FDA approved drugs (not cosmetics), 1/3 of approved drugs, get recalled!! IMHO that is way too many!!! The FDA is not doing their one job properly. If I screwed up at my job 1/3 of the time.... I'd be terminated!!
🤑Moisturizer are 70% water Serum are 80% water Then K-beauty toner/essence must be 98% water, which means we buy a bottle of water with some extra chemical in it 🤑🤑😂
Um the last couple videos I've seen here -- it's like the videos is dubbed over.? Really hard to watch:/ I don't remember other videos being like that. I hope you got back to the old way. 🩷
I clicked when I saw Michelle's book😅
SAME
Same ahah
Samesies
Me to 😅
Same
James is making so many vídeos lately and i Love it. He deserves the recognition for his hard work❤
Love Lab Muffin & Chemist Confessions!!!💖💖💖
Thank you for making so many TH-cam videos for this Millennial who does not have tiktok and has no interest in tiktok❤😂
Finally chemist confessions getting some love! Ive followed those girls for about a year and theyre highly underrated and knowledgeable
Majorly agree! They are laser-precise when they are on topic and they are fun and whimsical when they go off topic! (I love an animal fun fact!)
Seeing my faves talk about my other faves gives me such a warm fuzzy feeling. Thanks, James!
Thank you for just cutting right to the point. I'm learning so much from you and your channel! I follow Michelle as well!

Love Chemist Confessions! They’re really good at explaining formulations and ingredients, plus they make great products ❤
I started watching both of these channels ages ago because you kept mentioning them and I'm so glad I did!!
I've been religiously watching Dr. Shah and Dr. Maxfield (doctorly) and Dr. Idriss on youtube for a whiiiile now and they are absolutely amazing with their information, advice and recommendations!!
I don't trust Dr. Idriss anymore since she recommended cyprus oil for hair removal based on a crook study.
I got the book on Amazon. Such a beautiful cover and the content... Informative but simple to understand, and ilustration. Love it!
Love Michelle. I also got her book and really liked it. It's packed full of nerdy info.
I love her book, this book is not only super informative, it’s beautiful with all the pictures. I have rosacea, IBS and other, it’s very true when IBS and other are in control my rosacea is way better 💛 Thank James, I love sciences!
Thanks James! I usually get a derm stamp at 0.5mm and apply my products afterwards! Very affordable and excellent results! Your skin looks great!
Ahhh I love your vids, especially educational vids like this!
Like you said, with all the misinformation that spreads (more so on TikTok), it’s so refreshing to hear the facts!
Thank you as always James 🙌🏻🙏🏻🤍
Hey you are killing me James!!! I am suppose to be on a budget! Got the other products from VT and now this, but I am happy. TY
Dr Sha's and Dr Maxfield's hyperpigmentation video was a godsend for me. It explains the physiology beautifully and the steps to treat it at each stage. The hyperpigmentation pyramid was my skincare bible.
Love Michelle and you!
Thanks for spreading the word ❤

Scam
James, I always find great value in your videos. Thanks for taking the time to make them to be educational and informative, and at the same time enjoyable.🙂
I need that book!
I love this!! All of you guys are the reason why I'm hooked with skincare ❤
The way I bought Michelle’s book soon as it dropped but haven’t had the time to read it 😭 I really need to find some time for it!
i love how much u been blessing us with videos fr
this video literally came in the perfect moment in my life, love you
James my Mom has rosacea, and it’s really bad..she is low maintenance. She washes her face with Purity by Philosophy and uses Confidence in a cream from It Cosmetics. I would LOVE a rosacea survival guide, like your top 5 products etc. please please please help 💞
I second this ! 🙏
I don’t know if I have really noticed any changes from the quere microneedling system.
I've learned sooo much from you James! Your channel was my number 1 comfort channel during quarentine 😊
Do you have any brands/products of Korean skincare without fermented ingredients?
I bought a whole heap of toners and serums and it totally trashed my skin. No more layers for me. Slow and steady wins the race.
Microinfusion or reedle shot? Do you use both?
I've atopic dermatitis and usually I manage it well, it gets worse during colder months. And the "treat it like it's fked" is amazing tip for this too. Soothing, calming and barrier repair are the 1st priority. Only then the "actives" and usually I look for the weaker versions (eg. vit C esters and not pure ascorbic acid etc). Complete side note: I've been loving seeing your lobe stretching progress!
Love the book! I just finished it.
Yesss I ordered Michelle's book like some months ago it was such a good read 😌
Is the mirconeedling system safe for skin of color?
I had one inoffice microneedling session with RF, and it was totally a disaster!
I developed severe hyperpigmimtation and white bumps all over the needles marks

"Now, let's not get all EWG about it!" I'm dying 🤣🤣
I've got Michelle's book on my bedside table right now 😁
The video starts at 4:00.
Excellent information, thank you 👏🏼
Will you mention which products you use atm for treating your skin as sensitive?
Love and follow Michelle Wong and purchased her book too
Can’t wait to read the book, it’s on my Xmas wishlist!
Oh new shelf set up, very cute
such a smooth sponsor segue! (i also don’t like going in public so looks cool 😂)

very interesting thanks !

I bought Michelle's book soooo fast
Ive Been thinking about getting this there are lots of adverts on TH-cam and Facebook with massive discounts at moment are there fakes and dangers for where you buy this product??
Stamping my skin with Banish pen totally ruined my skin. It left me with permanent texture of my skin, which looks as if I had large pores, but in reality it's those tiny holes from stamping that just didn't heal properly.
Wow your skin looks so bright!🤓😌🕹️
Don’t forget Dr Sam Ellis! She’s a dermatologist and puts out very helpful videos.
James, I have to know how you got your background redness down the point that you can barely see it! I've taken that same advice from Doctorly of being more ginger with my skin, and the background redness improved but there's still more background redness that doesn't double as a cute blush lol 😆
James, can the microneedling system be used on the neck?
It can! I used mine for the first time 3 days ago. Can’t wait to see how it helps my mature skin
hello i have alot of redness like you what do you recommend :) i use the stuff u recommend and wow
I’m already doing the VT reedling serums that you partner with so no more poking for me
Definitely 💯 no such thing as perfection with anything.
Can the Qure work for depressed acne scars?
I get that stamping is better than rolling in onto your skin.. however, the skin's surface isn't even? so wouldn't it automatically be rolling off..?
its hard to put into words, but the book The Skin Radiance Recipe by Mrs. D transformed my skin literally
Thank you!😍
I love my Que system!!!❤
Uploaded just in time for my lunch break😊
You look better than ever!!!
Is the stamping anywhere close to VT reedle shots?
the biggest game changer for me was reading 'The Skin Radiance Recipe' by Mrs. D
What is the book title, please?
Interesting video; thank you!
lately ive seen lots(LOTS) of tiktoks that show makeup thats "not fda approved" and thats "fda approved" - its so annoying to see them all the time - and anyone with two brain cells can logically come to the conclusion that not every single product(anything) thats being sold needs to be approved by a regulatory body
Awesome: learned a lot!
I just wanted to say that you are one of the most beautiful men I've ever seen. That's all. ✨
I absolutely agree! He is something extraordinary 😍
I recommend AliceintheRabbitHole as she gives good information in well thought out videos, presenting her personal experiences with products alongside the scientific literature, all while being entertaining and relatable. She's one of those TH-camrs whose videos I always look forward to.
Sam Bunting and Michelle Wong
10 step skincare routine has always been a cash grab from skincare companies. A simple routine is just as effective
girls, you should show some love to Mrs. D and read her book 'The Skin Radiance Recipe', it will change your life ❤️
Jesus that's a looooong sponsorship segment 😳
No twin video this week 😢 I hope all is good ❤
James gold micro needles. This does not sound like you. But always loving no matter.
I follow a lot of of dermatologists on TH-cam who are really reputable and they are slamming the use of this do it yourselves at home device im really conflicted as the advice on using this is so divided.

*coming in running* am i early?
I've not heard of Qure! sounds interesting
Don't mind me, just commenting for the algorithm
Nice-background!
Qure ❤
The sponsor segments are sooooo long holy balls
💙💙💙
PS. Please fact check me, but if you research FDA approved drugs (not cosmetics), 1/3 of approved drugs, get recalled!! IMHO that is way too many!!! The FDA is not doing their one job properly. If I screwed up at my job 1/3 of the time.... I'd be terminated!!

Wow he lost so much weight
For the algorithm ❤
