Thank you, OPB, for this video and thank you, Barbara, for your love of and dedication to wild flower lands. I am hoping to visit in the not-too-distant future. ❤❤
at 59, i'm just learning about post-menopause. i heard yesterday that female humans and whales are the only mammals who go through menopause. the best understanding is that once the focus can shift from reproduction, women can focus on teaching. i'm doing a horrible job of paraphrasing. my point is - i am really enjoying focusing on things other than men and the rat race. i enjoy meeting other interesting, interested and excited women who are reformatting their lives. in all of the tree planting and other ecological meetings that I attend, i very rarely see a male of any age.
So thankful for people like Barbara and the others that do this great work. ❤
A beautiful tribute to an amazing woman who inspires us
Am the only one that enjoys weeding? I love getting in a garden identifying plants and pulling weeds. It's my therapy. God is my therapist 😊
We love you Barbara! Thank you for doing all you do!

Thanks! We love OPB, but this film was fully produced by Friends of the Columbia Gorge. OPB wasn't involved.
@@gorgefriends Friends of the Colombia Gorge have really expanded their wheelhouse!
Glad I found your channel today, I miss living in the PNW.....
I had no idea, thank you! An inspiration to say the least
We spent some time weeding with her at the Discovery Center. She is amazing and it was very hard work.
