This was my first car, quarter million miles that got side swiped and totaled 😭 I’m definitely planning on getting another 2012-2015 civic. Best car and so reliable!
@@keezy4109 some models of the 2012 Civic might have bluetooth, but I have the model featured in the video and it doesn't have bluetooth. If it did have bluetooth, I would've known by now
I have a 2013 LX and I love it. My mom used to have the 2012 but she hated it and traded it in for a 2014 EXL and she’s had it for 5 years now and she plans to keep it for another 20 years.
My 2004 civic got totaled by a nut job who ran me off the road. I'm admittedly devastated since she only had 72,500 miles on her and I just paid her off. Seeing this video does make me feel better about looking into the 2012 civic. It's new, sleek style bothered me at first, but I think it's something I'll get over, and at least it still feels like a honda
Just bought my first car today and this was one I got very excited about it been watching some videos on it just to get feel for things and get people thoughts on the car
My grandpa has a 2012 Honda Civic and man I love it so much. Before my aunt use to own it and she accidentally backed it into the garage and got a dent
@@mohamedgothany240 I financed it for $10K. Now I see that what I paid is higher by a few thousand than what you can buy from a private owner. I was desperate and needed a way to get to work the next day, but I am happy with it.
Honda should have just kept using the 2006-2011 design on the 2012 Civic and then brought out the 2013 as the redesign. I'd definitely rather have the 2011 Civic than the 2012. The 2013-2015 was a huge improvement over both. Honda developed the 2012 Civic in the middle of the recession, and it showed; it was cheaped out through and through. When it ended up sucking royally (by Honda standards, so it was still a C-grade car), Honda made improvements quickly instead of just sitting on a crappy design, like GM and Chrysler were known to do in the '90s and 2000s. However, I think that Honda should have kept making the 9th gen Civic a couple years longer and developed a 10th gen Civic that was more like a junior 10th gen Accord somewhere around 2018. Wow. Speaks volumes about the reliability of good old automatic transmission, doesn't it?

I've had the car for a few years now and haven't really had any problems with it. My major complaint is that the car doesn't have bluetooth.

Hector Castro the cheap interior, it looked like a 2005 Camry, and she says it was a lot slower than her 2014.
@@ShamuAquatics they have the same engine. Did she get the hybrid 2012? It only has a 1.5L instead of the normal 1.8.
