3:31 bit slow on the brakes by d c driver
Yeah that was easily DC’s fault, not just a rear end but the other guy had good reason to be slow
Yeah, why would you not start slowing down once you saw the craptiva moving into the lane? By the speed on the cam he didn’t start slowing down till within 5 m
Yeah from an insurance/liability angle DC 100% at fault.
@@almc8445 its always the driver behinds fault.
He didn't expect the craptiva to stop completely.
Craptiva could have made it through but stopped completely instead of just slowing down.
DC drivers fault for sure, but it is easy to get caught out - like when people stop at give way signs for no reason, and you are checking left and there is no traffic.

Truck going through Red light should be Loss of License
Just trucks?
Same should go for all you dumb cnts that sit in our blind spots and that think the do not overtake turning vehicle signs on the back of our trailers are just a suggestions
It should depend on the circumstances. Slowly crossing the line on red a fraction of a second before the lights turn green is a very safe thing to do.
@ A red light means what, a yellow light means what, a green light means what? And you're assuming that another light from another direction won't get the green.
You do realise it takes trucks a lot longer to slow down than a car. The clip only started as the cars started turning right. You just don't know if the truck was loaded, speed it was traveling. What I will say is it was clear the driver wasn't 2 steps ahead at that point in time
4:32 cam driver in the wrong. U turn gives way to everyone
illegal to U-Turn over a solid line. The DCs lane was marked out clearly across the intersection.
So the other car doesn’t have give way lines?
@@boxhead6177that’s a turn line to be followed if turning right. In Victoria all turn lines used to be solid lines - some still are, but you can still do a U-turn at lights unless there’s a No U-turn sign.

Looks like the health system is in good stead with all these 2 wheel organ donors available.
27:00 A "professional" driver, who didn't bother to use his mirrors. It's all too common to see truckies driving as though there is nobody else on the road. On freeways they love to attempt to overtake on ascents - all too often only to find that they cannot succeed. Instead they inconvenience every other road user. I appreciate that they deal with all kind of idiots in cars... but there seems to be an equal proportion of imbeciles in semi-trailers too.
Their social media will be alerting management to the issue.
Yep, gotta love these "professionals." They'll risk everyone's lives for the companies bottom line. And I love their excuses, and the people here who run to defend them. "They're heavy, so that means they can run red lights." "They have blindspots, so they can just run anyone they want off the road." "They have timeslots to make, so dangerous overtakes to save 4 seconds per km is totally justified."
6:57 you heard it here first folks, farts inn jars cure cancer.... half of the funny part to these vids are due to what we listen to in the car lol
The one where the car is trying to park is almost painful.
Why I advocate for taking Learners into an empty carpark somewhere as their first experience. Not enough people have a proper feel for the size of their vehicle and how fast or slow it turns going forward and in reverse and at a variety of speeds.
The odd thing is that they almost had it, but kept turning right instead of straightening out. It was so painful.
I hope Avada Traffic put an incident report in for that close call 😅 0:02

How the hell is there so many people going on the wrong side of the road in this country ??
Have you seen the migration numbers from third world nations where there are no road rules? They have the answer.
The standard of verbal abuse is diminishing over the years. Come on Aussies, let’s lift the game a bit.
It's more just the ratio of Australians in Australia is diminishing rapidly.
The spider panicked when it seen the tipper and dog and decided to make run for it

I was at a T intersection, minor road entering the main road. It was earthworks all round and very restricted visibility where i was sitting and on the downside of a mountain. The traffic control prat waved me into the main road - I hesitated just for two seconds and a large suv came flying down the road on my left. Had I of did what the the traffic controller wanted there would have been an almighty T bone crash. The traffic controller fkd up, he had a good line of sight as to oncoming traffic. Just because some clown with a stop go says its ok to go - check first.

6:00 If you're going to chase ambulances at least stick your head out the window and bark.
The amount of stupidity on our roads seems to increasing with every video, the number of wrong side of the road, no blinker, roundabouts, driving on footpaths etc etc . 4:40 dash cam driver at fault here?
"a driver making a U-turn at an intersection must give way to vehicles turning left from a slip lane. This is true even if the vehicles turning left have a "Give Way" or "Stop" sign"
28:20, what is the issue? in Vic this is perfectly legal if there isnt a no u turn sign, i presume its the same in QLD
Correct - dc driver at fault.
28:20 the issue is they blocked traffic to make an unsafe turn while less than 100 metres away is a dedicated turn lane.
Can't U-Turn over a solid line, his lane is a solid line across the intersection to the left lane.
at 28:20... that is a turn lane for the oncoming traffic, his turn lane is suppose to be the next one (which is clearly marked with the right turn sign)
@@boxhead6177that solid line is a turn line and only applies to vehicles doing the right turn. Victoria is still in the process of converting all its solid turn lines to broken ones.
But the Dc driver has already made the u turn and he was hit from behind so not his fault, just the driver turning left at speed only looking at traffic on the right and not infront of him
I more I watch these dash cam Video's , I'm amazed the road toll isn't higher

@@boxhead6177that’s a turn line for right turns, and therefore that turn line doesn’t apply to a driver doing a U-turn.

At 10:24 who else wanted the Yaris (the black car in front) to go in the puddle in the middle of the roundabout 😊😅😂
21:50 is some Need for Speed POV
I'm guessing lowered car. Some put a camera there so they don't get the front bar taken out by wheel stops in car parks (or gutters) and can pull in as far forward as possible. Don't have to be illegally low to hit those things either, as they make some big enough so people that drive-by-braille don't just drive over them anyway.
Another great collection of 70 series Land Cruisers taking every opportunity to lose control in mildly damp conditions. At least they end up where they belong - off the bitumen.
Was that worker saying at the end of clip the DC should take his dash cam back?? Negligence not checking the light system is working properly before allowing traffic in.
No, he took the remark back about the light not being green, because dash cam doesn’t lie😉
Have to admit that after an 18 hour flight to Sydney, remembering to stay to the left was quite the challenge. Learning to play gear hunter with a manual transmission using the left hand was icing on the cake.

5:00 Should the DC car be turning left from that lane?
the dash camera driver was at fault as the right lane turns right, 'left' lane is actually center land that can turn right and go straight, the left lane is a slip lane at the start of the clip.
Yes.
That lane the DC is in can go straight ahead or continue turning right.
