Description: There have been some bad road rage stories in Australia lately, we thought we would remind you all of why engaging in road rage or aggressive behavior is a really bad idea. - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
Lots of road rage stories in the news lately. I'd like to think this might make a few people think twice before they drive aggressively, try to force their way into another lane or get out of their car to start a fight but that is probably wishful thinking.
I don't think the ragers are thoughtful people.
@@lauraoconnor2655 you're right about that. they use their balls instead of their brains for "thinking"
Beautiful timing!
i always have a thinking that people by default is egoist and narcissist so i wouldn't expect much of human. Be defensive as you can.
Also, all the times people could have just let the kunt$ pass them and go on with your life. Some very stupid people on both ends of the lens in this video.
It’s just a shame that some of these pieces of karma is at the expense of innocent road users.
Yeah that’s the thing that bothers me the most.
Also a shame that probably most of them didn't get charged or lose any points or get fined for this behavior, just an insurance cost. That is a big reason why these people drive like absolute morons, because even though they know in the back of their mind that they're likely to cause a crash, they know the guard rails of society will protect them from the ramifications. People who drive like this don't deserve to drive period.
It's also a shame that even those that go to court for driving while drunk or other stupid stuff end up back on the road because the judge doesn't really care, just that the driver needs to drive for their job. I also dare people here to call any of those deliberate acts a "mistake" and try to argue that everyone makes mistakes so it's OK to drive like a moron all the time. Drive like that on purpose, lose your license for good or for a very long time (10+ years). Drive without a license or while suspended, jail.
*cars
That’s alright. Insurance will cover everything
@@nootherdestiny They sometimes cop a dangerous driving charge but that's about it.

Some trucks have up to 5 cameras 📷 around them.
@@ianrobinson9565 The trucks I drive do. 1 looking at me, 1 looking forward, 1 on each mirror looking back and 1 on the roof looking back across the load.

It's the "aaargh me leg" bloke! Classic.
3:50 The cammer should have given way as he had the dotted line. The cammer could have been charged with assault ly with a deadly weapon.
@@RichardFelstead1949you're right on those counts; but the arggh me leg guy is a farkwit for blocking an entire lane of a freeway while he exited his vehicle to road rage
Ultimately, though, "arrgh me leg" is a DCOA classic.
@@RichardFelstead1949 Yeah, both the Indian driver and the leg guy were dicks.
@@RichardFelstead1949" I feared for my life - and I moved away, as he was trying to fit me. He was being extremely aggressive" as the cop writes out the statement. Then the CPS gets the case and goes "Nah - he's absolutely in the clear". End of. The old cnut was being a... cnut and deserved all he got.
@@RichardFelstead1949 Although you are correct it still takes courtesy of the other drivers to allow people into the lane especially at peak hour. Also cammer feared for his safety due to old mate getting out and being aggressive so he deserved what he got. Old mate should have let him in but he didnt want to lose a spot.
Please lord, take my life if I ever believe that brake checking a truck is a good idea.
Well if you do it is absolutely likely to be around the next thing to occur.
It's the insurance fraudulators favourite thing to do and yet most of the trucks have a dash cam as far as I know
I drive a little putt putt car. If I brake check a truck, it's not coz I wanna live lol. Gonna be breakfast if I do.
Yeah they guy is clapping as if he's gonna get an insurance payout.
My brother in christ it's called obstructing traffic and the company that owns that truck is gonna have you grabbing your ankles through your wallet.
Probs use a truck to do it.
Ahh mi leg. 😂 Imagine trying to explain how getting your leg crushed while walking around the highway looking for a fight is the other guys fault.
He will think of something, he wants an insurance settlement. Unfortunately for him, he got recorded.
That was 100% the truck drivers fault.
He was in a terminating lane and ran over someone asking why they were not obeying traffic laws.
Go and touch grass please

Road rules: merging
"When you are travelling on a road without lane markings and the number of lanes or lines of traffic is reduced, you must merge by giving way to any vehicle that is ahead of you. This is often call a zipper merge. Changing lanes when a marked lane ends."
From the NSW Goverment site, so the car was this case wrong. This is recorded in Australia after all.
@@linuxares Are you completely blind? There's clearly lane markings on this road indicating the lane is ending. The literal previous example on the website you've just quoted shows this exact situation. The truck is in the wrong and needs to give way to traffic already in the lane.
Please do not ever give road advice on the internet ever again this is embarrassing for you. It's even worse because you're smug as fuck while being completely wrong.
@@linuxares First off, zipper merge is a lie and doesn't work. People aren't water and don't behave like it. People are not autonomous robots.
Second, it IS the truck driver's fault for not yielding.
Third, the guy that got ran over is totally his own fault for getting out of his car. You step out of your vehicle in a threatening manner then I'm assuming you're a threat and will be treated as such.
However, this is Australia and giving the merging vehicle right-of-way is exactly why they have problems like this.
Old mate in the Everest popping his airbags is my favourite 😂
When one person's being a dickhead there's probably going to be an accident, when two people are being dickheads there's definitely going to be an accident.

Funny that they call this car a "ute" when it has no real utility and is just a status symbol for the suburban road rager.
It's western Sydney they all are 🤣 I don't give anyone an inch that tries to cut around the queue at that intersection.
@@FragenzeichenplatteFar out, I'd argue it's got much more call to the word 'ute' than these modern lifted dual cab shitboxes. At least it's low enough that you can put things in it without doing your back out

Road raging should be an instant loss of license for 5 years, maybe then they learn to more respectful on the road.
In order for that to happen you have to define “road rage”
@@NomoreABnot that difficult to do.
@@NomoreAByou thought you were smart with that reply.
@@NomoreAB I reckon I got one, 'any reasonable person could describe the act as road rage'. Yes there's still a grey area but in all of these videos it would be pretty easy to say yep, this person should not have a license. I've thought this for quite some time but never had a reason to say it
@@mitchellcollins9221 thanks for the response. Unfortunately the law requires specific actions. Not being difficult but aggressive driving is not very specific and varies among people as to what constitutes it. I’d also point out that most of the obvious actions (running into some) is already illegal. We need to have a civil discussion in order to get anything accomplished. Thanks again
The whole video shows you the value of having a dash cam running ALL THE TIME ! It's a great defense tool.

What sense does it make to stop a car in moving traffic just to have a temper tantrum? Kindergarten school yard.on highways now!😡
aaarrr arrrr me leg me leg!
that was funny
You expecting road ragers to make sense?
Got my first of those A-Hs the first week I had my dashcam. Dude ran an absolute red in front of my car so I beeped at him. He stopped in the traffic to get out. Lucky a fella in a 4wd was right beside me telling him to bugger off. Footage went straight to the cops. Didn’t make the cut for DC Australia though.
My grandfather said the wisest thing I ever heard about driving drive like you own the car not like you own the road.
Excellent advice! I’ll take that.
1:24 that wasn't karma, that was a victim crashing because of a rager's actions
Both are Idiots. The Breakchecking one is a potential murder tho.
agreed
That was karma. Kind of. I just feel bad for the cammer. The rager was the tailgater here! There would be no such thing as "brake checking" if people wouldn't tailgate...
@@fgm1197 You don't belong on any road if you justify a breakcheck like this.
@@rbn-190 I don't justify brake checking (it's spelled "BRAKE"!!! for gods sake) Brake checking is wrong but tailgating is even worse! And you obviously didn't get my point. If people wouldn't tailgate then there'd be no "need" for brake checks...
That big fat guy running at the girl with his fist in the air was probably a black belt in online karate.
Bwahahaha, Gold, pure gold!
Awfully generous of you to call that “running”
The Flabalanche @8:40...hilarious.

Why do I have the feeling that all these road ragers will tell their friend they were the victims and not the aggressors 😢
Plus the “man-boy” with his mommy(last clip)acting all tough until the police arrived was classic😂
Yeah, and too ready to threaten a woman, big gaiboi
The old saying; if you are surrounded by arseholes everywhere you go, you're the arsehole.
because you have common sense, it's a feeling of common sense.
it's true in 99% of cases, all the aggressors claim they were the victim. most also lie about any raging, they claim they were calm and didn't do or say anything.
what still shocks me, is how people don't realize that almost everyone has dashcam these days. lot of modern cars have built-in cams already, yet they rage and blame others for their own mistakes ... like what is the point? ITS ON CAMERA! you can lie all you want .. police can just look at the footage.
those people are literally like flat-earth level dumb, they probably have never been on youtube either and think it's all a myth and cameras don't exist.
I mean, I feel like some of the dash cam submitters were the drivers at fault. The truck guy who got mad at someone not giving way, then running his truck into somebody's body to prove a point? That's a bit red flag behaviour.

Ute drivers in Australia all have one thing in common. When they are in front of you they cant do the speed limit, when they are behind you they want to go over the speed limit
My theory is that they’re sitting on 11 demerit points so they’re scared to speed, but then you overtake them to do the speed limit and their ego gets bruised so they have to prove to you that they’re actually more of a man than you, despite what they think you may have thought when overtaking them 😂😂

And if he actually was injured it's the cammer that will be charged, there isn't and excuse to hit someone with a vehicle even if he was mouthing off or being threatening Australia's self defense laws mean you must use proportional force
Something that seems consistent with most of this type of ‘Dashcam Madness’ is: 1) The vast majority are not accidents but avoidable incidents, some of which the Cammer could have prevented but were caused by the other party anyway. 2) The “music” playing in the Cammer’s vehicle would in itself be considered a crime in a sane world.

Seems like a fairly standard thing to do. It's basically like the fluorescent flag that you put on your overhanging load behind your car/truck to mark the hazardous protrusion.
Road ragers get angry with other drivers, but they are the worst drivers on the road. If you can't drive without emotion, then you should not be driving at all.
4:34 love the "mmm" after "don't step in front of me" 😂
Here's a tip ... never, EVER, let anyone know you have their misbehaviour on video. There is a serious risk to your own safety if they know that. Say nothing, exchange names and addresses as required and give the video to your insurance company. That way you're safe AND another insurance fraudster is caught.
That last one.......pure KARMA
If only police are there more often and intervene when road rage incidents happen
I don't understand why you would brake check someone, even if there is no dashcam showing the event you've still totally f*cked up your car just to make a point, then all the insurance hassle and getting a new motor. What's the point? On the other end it's like that scene in Mr Inbetween with the therapist, "some people are arseholes Ray", "Do you know why?", "Why?". "Because people let them get away with it". The first one was case in point where he probably does that billy big bollocks stuff all the time and now someone called him out on it.
It's called Insurance scam. In pretty much all places, if it isn' recorded, whoever goes up the ass end is the one at fault. Not that hard. Usually because the car is at a point where they have insured it for more than what it's worth and use that money to get a better car.
@@Schnipps Insurance companies are business not charities, you cannot "insure it for more than it's worth"
Simple. Brake checks tells tailgaters to F off. - Not condoning it, but it's the lesser vs the actual tailgating
@gibbogibbogibbo you can't insure a car for more than its worth. But you can have a car that's insured for more than it worth, if your car is insured for the top value of what a car of your model is worth but your particular car has developed engine/gearbox issue its insurance price if written off is worth more than what you can sell it for therefore your car is insured for more than its worth
To be fair, if you're not a total dumbass, you brake check just enough to give them a fright and don't actually brake hard enough for them to hit you.
I've said this for years....if you're found to be responsible for causing an accident through negligence or dangerous driving you should have your license taken away permanently.
Only problem with that is that most of the idiot drivers in these videos don't have a drivers' license because it is either suspended or cancelled or they never had one in the first place.
"Arrrrggghhhh my leg" made me laugh.
Last clip - bearded mama's boy obviously didn't have his Weet-Bix that day.
One of the things about modern driving is that everyone, literally everyone, has a relatively nice car now. Back in the 1990s, a guy driving with his mum and wearing a weird arm brace and clearly on his last nerve at all times, would be driving a rusted-out Torana or Celica with bits of the badging missing so it read "TO ANA" or "CELI A". Now the crazies could be anyone. All the cars are shiny.
It was the WoW gamer from South Park wasn't it?
The impotent hammer fist raise at the end has got to be the least threatening act of violence I've ever seen. My toddler projecting a bite from 5 metres away is less threatening than this dongbag.

Yeah, and scarily the cammer seems to think he had right of way when he didn't.
Though the other guy is an A hole and made the situation worse getting out, he did have right of way at the merge. Then deliberately hitting someone with a vehicle is excessive force compared to the other guy trying to punch him.
@@jake8748 regardless of what happened previously if someone is trying to get into your car and trying to assault you then i dont expect any court would give a crap about the consequences of you attempting to get away from them, even if you were in a 2 tonne vehicle that happened to crush them a little bit, or even severely, in that attempt to escape - so long as you dont voice out loud and gleefully for the camera that your going to squish him.

But in context there is room for him to continue straight/some room on the left to drive away so he wasn't required to attack back either. It's a grey area there but I wouldn't want to take that chance with the legal system. Plus we only saw a recent snippet, there could be more further back down the road that changes the story either direction too.
But yeah, both guys are idiots. DC tried to force in when the other guy decided not to let him in, which he is legally allowed to do, and the other guy is a road raging W ⚓️ who has some mental issues.
And don't get me wrong, I don't feel sorry for that idiot who got crushed. I actually do agree that self defence so long as it's not intentionally to cause harm, should be given alot of leeway.
But like that recent one I think was Melbourne or Adelaide where the guy died being dragged by the ute, the other guy had gotten out and reached in apparently and the guy who drove off was charged for manslaughter because they dragged him with their car. Similar arguments to here, someone reached in to possibly assault, injured/killed as a result of the other person driving away.
@@arkayenro8225 the truck driver is in jail now and will pay a lot of money for the old guy , from what i have read
I feel so sorry unsuspectingly being caught in the crashes caused by these FWs.
Arrr my leg, arr 🤣🤣🤣
Impressive driving by the silver Subaru and Gray Triton.
You guys take road rage to another level. In the United States there would have been a Firearms involved😂

2:24 playing chicken with a truck is never going to end well.. just sayin
Did it seem like the truck gave up braking at the end to teach him a lesson?
@@PaulFilmeryeah he did, but can’t be proven so break checker liable for crash
I do wish i could have seen Mr. Angerball at the end there explain himself to the cops 😂
In the last incident, the first three characters on the number plate spoke volumes. 😂
1:46 and this is why (despite the p-plater being a dickhead) brake checking is illegal
Honestly that clip was horrendous. Someone could have lost their life. 2 wrongs dont make a right.
Mazda driver was a slow learner and incompetent to boot..
Brake checking?
No. He just saw a fairy on the road.....I'm sure the police n his insurance would've bought that 😅😅
I feel like the cops should have a word with them considering the severity of the crash that occurred
And that type of driving kills innocent people.
Excluding Mazda driver that was following to close but chose to
the last one is just a timeless classic
Love how the first guy looks offended after knocking off that mirror the other car hits him back lol.
It’s always a minor inconvenience that causes these rages isn’t itlol
4:15 "Ahhhh me leg!!!" That is the funniest thing i have ever heard 🤣🤣🤣
meanwhile the dotted line suggest he doesn't have to giveaway to dash cam driver. It's a dick move but dash cam should just suck it and move on coz law is not on his side.
That is the funniest thing i have ever heard""
Serious? The DC crushed the guy between the truck and the car. How is that funny?
It is freaking hilarious.
@@alexanderSydneyOzyeah it’s really hard to listen to. Regardless of the bloke being a knob and threatening, I don’t enjoy hearing someone in pain.
@@alexanderSydneyOz I think a bit of gallows humour. Fucked around and he found out. He should have stayed in the car and moved on.
I take a sip every time a DCOA clip involves a Ford Ranger
The guy who brought his elderly mother to the fight at the end 😂

Legend? Reality has it that he upgraded to a Ranger.
