My favourite Leica Q2 accessory is the Leica Finger Loop which screws into the side of the Leica grip - it means I never feel the need to use the camera with a case or strap. Combined with a third party articulated Thumb Rest, the ergonomics are brilliant :- )

The Leica version is expensive (isn't everything they make?), but I think it's worth the money. You'll have a lot to shoot in Italy!! I actually bought my Q2 last year specifically for a trip to Italy and Switzerland. the Q2 is easily the best travel camera I've ever owned, and I've had a few. Next on my list is the M6 and maybe the M11.

I was just looking for accessories for the Q2M I ordered. Thanks so much for the recommendation on the Bolin leather half case. I placed the order on Amazon for the black. The Leica version is so expensive, and I couldn't go for it right now after already spending a boatload on the camera (used) and an extra battery. Can you recommend a pouch or sleeve that will hold the Q2? Looking for something that will go in my bag to keep it protected. Like a neoprene pouch. Best of luck with your TH-cam channel!
I’m so glad you liked the Bolin half case. I have to say that it’s indeed my favorite! I’ve been using the Leica one since March and although I like the color and texture, the fact that I have to fully remove the case to swap cards/batteries is really annoying. I don’t know of a specific neoprene pouch but I put ny Q2 in a soft dust bag I have that came with something else I purchased and it’s been working great!

Great video thanks. One thing maybe it's not as much of an issue on the Q2 but my experience with the Sony Tough 300mb/s SD cards is they often error out on my M10-D and M10-R. I have them because I use them in my Sony gear but have had nothing but issues with them on my Leica bodies. I still use SanDisk Extreme Pro 300mb/s cards and have never had an issue with any of them.
I would assume all of the flashes I talked about on the video work on the Q. The only items I think might not work are the half cases. You probably would need to order a version made specifically for the Q.
Just be careful in Italy with that brightly coloured case and strap. It will potentially attract the wrong people who would love to acquire your expensive new Leica.

Oh no, I'm sorry to hear that! I've had mine since mid 2020 and it's been fine so far. If you've only had it for a little while I'd reach out to the seller and try to return/exchange it to a different unit. I'd definitely give the Godox a shot!
Never liked straps with a big metal buckle. When you put your camera in and out of a bag, the LCD screen or metal camera body will be scratched. Believe me...

Oh I know and I agree! I always wrap my camera in a cloth/dust bag and wrap the strap around it so it never scratches my camera!
