I love your solution for the bezels that were too small for the cabochons, that was really brilliant!! For all you say "I still make mistakes" you also come up with really clever solutions too :)
Ohhhh I love how these turned out, I love the cogs and wheels one and the clock face. I think the bubbles add to them rather than being a defect. So cute, great job lovely
What I do with the ones that didn't have a matching bezel was do a really good backing, drill a hole and use push bails! Or, forget the hole and get some glue on bails! They can be stunners! I found some GORGEOUS push bails on Temu! 😉👍✌️
Im breathless - wow! Made a slow dozy Sunday morning suddenly inspiring. Just cant take on another crafft - so will live vicariously thru your channel! Just pure eye candy for the soul
Summerween! YESS! I’m totally here for it! Yup! I became obsessed with making my own silicon inlays after watching you make yours. You and Wendy from Toonpish Crafts, are so awesome for sharing how to do this! Love them! The differences on the two techniques is amazing.❤❤❤ The clock one with the bubble, it looked like it had a pearl in it to me. I think the one with the bats is actually my favorite. 🦇🦇🦇 Okay, I lied… the green heart is my favorite. 💚💚💚💚
The hubby and I ordered a bunch of resin and chameleon powders from Let's Resin. I'm over the moon to start working with them. Fantastic results, Claire!
The bat inlays are awesome! Love those! The cog though, what a cool 3-D effect it gave! Shame not every cavity had a corresponding bezel! These are very cool! Hard to pick a favorite!
That’s a neat tip regarding powder on resin. It gives a real depth to the chameleon color. Will definitely be doing it that way when possible. Excited to hear you are warming to green. It’s become my fave colour but not many like it. Gorgeous makes. Love the heart. Thanks Claire ❤
Fabulous inlays and fabulous colors that you used. All the charms came out gorgeous, Ms Claire 💜😍,even though some bezels were not proper in size ,you corrected them very well and the results were stunning 😍😍💜💜
I have this set also. I use a glue on bail on the ones with no bezel. sand them smooth and they make a very tactile piece for pendants or key chains. I put black resin in the bezel and set the cabochon, then if anything shows around the edges, it's black
oh I love the Halloween in July lol The pieces look fantastic and it sounds like you had a lot of fun . Thanks for the shout out on pigments and everything 🥰
I may need to aquire some halloween inlays! I use the Tiny Turner micas without a black background and they are so opaque it's hard to tell they're isn't black. With a closed bezel I've used a black marker rather than resin, trick from Sherry Moulton for uv resin. Love a cheat as it saves space in the bezel. Such a fun video!
Never thought of a marker, but I HAVE used nail polishes! And I use ALL my old nail varnishes to back my pieces. Using complimentary colors can REALLY make my pieces pop! I did a lovely piece with flowers, and backed it in a lavender ... And WOW! And, if you are anything like me, you've got plenty of old nail polishes! 😉👍
Great video Claire! Not only are you back this week after a well deserved break but you're really BACK, doing what you love, halloween/gothic/steampunk. My vibe totally. We've missed you. Roll on Halloween 😊🎃❤ xxx
Happy Summerween! 💜 Three greatest takeaways: sneaky inlays give holographic effects, pour first-dust second with chameleon powders and too small bezels can be topped up with dyed resin.
Summerween! Next we will have a spring into winter or fall 🍂🍁 oh you need to do a fall into summer right when summer hits because we all know you are such a fall girl! Loved it all! Great video! Dont know if you read these anymore but i enjoyed it a lot! I wish youd do a full series on summerween!
The cauldron may have been better in a larger mould so that you could fill the area above the top of the cauldron with bubbly resin to give it a brewing cauldron look to it. I love how you finished the green heart off. You could use the empty space around the outside of the resin shape in the cabochon as an area for making something to come out & sit on the resin piece for example vines growing up & out of the cabochon.
I have those same bezels and was so disappointed to realize the molds don't fit, but yeah- it's cheap so it is what is is. Some of my favorite pieces I've made were also plain with chameleon powder. Love to see I'm not the only one with simple taste. 😁
I feel like the cauldron might work as a snowglobe if you used it upside down, with a tiny inlay inside it! That would turn it into a 3 layer project instead of 2, but the image in my head is awesome!! X
I know you use Jesmonite and I recently started messing with Gypsum/hydrocal and wondered if I can use epoxy resin to fill part of a mold and after that cured can I use the Gypsum for the rest of the mold. If you can help it would be so great full. Also your art is absolutely beautiful. I love that you take risks and also show your mess ups. Lol you, Wendy, and Daniel are my favorites. Thank you for being amazing ❤
The heart with the watch face says The White Rabbit to me and I would wire wrap it. As for those bubbles , they always look like pearls to me and dont detract from the look. Until they do of course but in that piece I think they are just fine.
My faves are the golden cog and the green heart clock! Daniel has bezels to fit the big ovals. Might give him a shout and see where he got them. Amazon, pretty sure.
Ok - this is weird. I've never heard of summerween, but I'm currently making scarecrows and setting up my yard with "nondescript" Halloween decorations b/c I already want it to be Fall. Thank you for more ideas! Loved the inserts.
I think this is my first "Summerween" video. Didn't know that it was a thing. Christmas in July, sure, I love it, but I never heard of Summerween. 🤷🏻♀️ That said, I loved most of what you made. The heart with the clock and the deep cog ones were probably my favorite but there were no bezels for them. 💔 Of course, you could make your own bezels. 😉 I know you have polymer clay and making bezels with it isn't hard. If your resin is heat safe you could probably even bake with the resin piece in place since you bake polymer clay at such low temperatures. 🤔 That definitely depends on your resin though. If it's not heat safe hen you need to make a glue-in bezel similar to the premade ones. Oh, there's also wire wrapping or you could do some basic metal work with fancy bezel wire and a bit of soldering. That takes a bit of practice and an investment in tools and supplies though. Best to work with what you have unless you really want to learn a new skill. 😅
I have a tip for pouring use a small paper cup dicsi cups i don't now now to spell it sorry but they hold about 2.5 oz the dollar tree sells two sizes you can pinch to a fold at the pouring side this will give you more control over the amount and where the resin is going.
If you look up Daniel Cooper on TH-cam you will find his homemade recipe for a strong adhesive he uses to glue resin items to projects. He recycles polystyrene to make it.
“It was cheap from Amazon” wasn’t it? I just got mine yesterday 😅 Love the deep pour cabochons, but it is infuriating that barely any of the bezels are compatible. I’ve been applying a cut shaped piece of hi vis tape directly into the bezels before setting the cabochons: it refracts and illuminates whatever is in them, makes them almost look backlit, like fire opals.
I wonder if you could put little bit resin in bezel and then the pendant, so the resin would seep out from under and fill the gap? Ok, I should watch the whole video before commenting... 😂😂
Hi Claire I wanted to let you know that for some reason even though I subscribe ALL and I used to get all your videos I am not getting them in my notifications. Has anyone else had this problem. It is a recent thing. I am having the same problem with Miniscenes and Toonpish crafts. These are the only ones.
Those turned out really well, Clair. All your life fixes meant that the whole thing was a 🙌 success.
So beautiful..the bubbles look like pearls
The heart one appears to have a blackbird in it..
I love the moth❤😊
I love your solution for the bezels that were too small for the cabochons, that was really brilliant!! For all you say "I still make mistakes" you also come up with really clever solutions too :)

Love love love those steampunk inlays!!!❤❤❤
That bat inlay pendant yo made is just: chef’s kiss!
What I do with the ones that didn't have a matching bezel was do a really good backing, drill a hole and use push bails! Or, forget the hole and get some glue on bails! They can be stunners! I found some GORGEOUS push bails on Temu! 😉👍✌️
Do love Summerween! Loved how they have all come out.Amazing.
I love the heart. Bubbles in steampunk works!
Gorgeous pendants, Claire. 😊 I love the vintage vibe. But those cute bats, though. 🦇🤩😍😊
They are fabulous and the plum one reminds me of a mood ring or pendant!!! Yay summerween all the way
Im breathless - wow! Made a slow dozy Sunday morning suddenly inspiring. Just cant take on another crafft - so will live vicariously thru your channel! Just pure eye candy for the soul

Love the bats and the plum color. Love your videos.
Omg, Summerween!!! Never heard of it and I am in love! Your inlays are stunning, and those colours are perfect!! 💜

So much fun here! They are stunning:)
Really nice outcome…well done Claire
The cog and the green heart are stunning!
Oooh your fav would make a gorgeous ring ❤. They all look fabulous though
Gorgeous colors and great results. Thank you! 💜
Beautiful work! The pumpkin, perhaps if you dusted the inlay in a contrasting colour, it would stand out beautifully.
I really like the bubbles and the cig with the inferno powder and the green heart are my favourites!I feel your pain with remembering words!😊😊😊😊❤
I was pretty disappointed when I received the mold and bezels also. Beautiful ❤️
I actually love the pumpkin
I adore the cog ones-loving that inferno and green colour too!
Those were so awesome. Love the mistakes and the extras. Just my 1 cent
They are stupendous, so much sparkle. Love the cog and the bats, and all of the others. Thank you Claire x❤
There all stunning well done
These are incredible! The cogs/clocks are my favourite, especially the clock inside the heart :D
The gear in inferno is my absolute favorite! The depth of the inlay really allows for maximum color shift AND shadows! They’re all stunning Claire!
I am looking it. there so beautiful. I can't wait to try it. Thanks for sharing
This was a fun video. My fave is the one with the bats. 🦇❤️
these are beautiful and I love the inlays! Brilliant idea with the green heart 😊
Those really came out beautiful! Thanks for your wonderful videos and your discount code for let's resin!!
They are superb!😊😊
Good save on the heart pendant!!

Love the poison bottle. That as it is against a bright background would look insane
I may need to aquire some halloween inlays! I use the Tiny Turner micas without a black background and they are so opaque it's hard to tell they're isn't black. I love this project!❤❤ Do you sell your inlays? Love watching your channel. It makes my day. I'm happy to have you healthy and happy. 🎉

My faves are the golden cog and the green heart clock! Daniel has bezels to fit the big ovals. Might give him a shout and see where he got them. Amazon, pretty sure.
😂 pizza boxes make the best stackable storage boxes for Holiday small things
❤
Would spraying the inlays with alcohol before putting them in the resin help with the bubbles?

You can get the bezels from Temu
We just had a new shop open in our town for goth , steampunk , alternatives bet that's full of witchy , Halloween type stuff
😍😍
Me ha encantado, pero en la descripción no pones donde se compra el molde que has usado 😢
