I've been wearing this watch for almost a month now. While it may be sometimes difficult to read the time at a glance due to the design of the dial, the watch with the rubber strap makes it light and ideal for everyday wear (work or otherwise). Switching to the mesh bracelet is also a breeze when compared to my RADO Captain Cook Over-Pole Worldtimer Limited Edition. This is a watch I can definitely wear for travelling!

@@joepat7336 I hope you enjoy wearing it. It has accompanied me in my travels and is one of the watches in my collection that has been receiving quite a bit of wrist time.

Having this watch on the wrist for a few months now, I can say it is a great one. The look is unique, ppl ask me about it all the time, it is casual yet dressy. The visibility is meh especially on a bike, lume is absent. The time zone dial is the by far the best feature and I actually used it a couple of times to know what time it is in a place when it is that time in another, so definitely not just a gadget
    Can only recommend

The word "dressy" has lost all meaning. You Americans think uggs and yoga pants are formal wear from what I've seen

I have the Mido Ocean Star GMT Limited Edition for Hodinkee, which is basically this case and movement with a simpler dial and a GMT bezel. Really love the watch and wish they'd do it as a standard edition as well.

Just bought this watch a few weeks back. Already had many compliments on it. I travel and spend time on the beach. I have worn it in many settings. Beach, bar or business this watch is a great compliment. Yeah the face can be seen as busy or as art. I don't dive but love the color pop of the face. I do use the world time bezel. For it's price, weight, look and quality, great priced. If you want an attention getter and a very adaptable style. This is a great buy. First Mido I have bought. Pleased with purchase

@@joepat7336 I hate to say it but I think I am a battery guy. Every time I wear it I have to set it. A few weeks later, I'm winding up and try to set everything again. If it's a every day watch, cool. Once in a while wear for me.

Having previously owned the Decompression Timer version, it looks great but it really isn’t intended to be used as a watch - it’s so difficult to simply glance at the watch to tell the time. Also, I wish it some contrast between brushed and polished facets. If I can get one for a good price Europe then it may be something I go for. For some reason, it almost impossible to buy Mido in the UK.
