    FAQs??
-How many squares do I need for a baby blanket?
This can vary, it really can be however big or small you like, but i generally do 4x4 or 5x5.
This blog post might be useful: bit.ly/1UIobie
-How many chains shall I do for a *single/double/etc' blanket?
Again, this can vary. I would suggest that you do your chain and lay it down agains the bed you are wanting it for. It should be the same width. You should then ad a few more to make it a little wider.
This blog post might be useful: bit.ly/1UIobie
-How much yarn do I need?
Unfortunately, I will not be able to answer individuals questions about how much yarn you would used do to multiple factors affecting it. Such as, your tension, the size of hook and the yarn being used.
    -What equipment do you use?
    Camera: amzn.to/2jkNDl2
    Tripod: amzn.to/2w4ReK8
    Ring Light: amzn.to/2w4vrC7

I have tried to learn this stitch from 5 other videos and 3 websites and I could not get past the first shell. The first time I watched your video I did the whole things (with a bit of pausing lol) with no problem and now I am on my 22nd row of a blanket. Thank you so much, you did a brilliant job on this. I also usually have an issue with the turn over and starting a new row, but you made me understand it the first time you explained it. Thanks Again...

You know I've known how to knit, stitch & sew all my life. Just didn't know how to crochet. Finally learned to make a granny square & got so taken by it, I made many - I later got the hang of it, and made all kinds of things & even began to work with Plarn (plastic yarn made from plastic bags) Now I haven't crocheted in a while & would you believe it, I forgot how to make a shell - NO kidding!! Watching this video it came back to me & I thought "Geeez this is complicated, can't believe how easy it felt at one time!? L😆L. Thanks for explaining it so well. 🙏Namaste from USA!!

Your channel is a gift for me! I love that your patterns are always described in multiples of a number instead of yarn size, it makes it so much easier for me to apply that pattern to any size yarn I want, and I love that. Thanks so much for all of these videos!

Thank you for re-teaching me how to crochet, in English, wich is actually tons of fun (even if now, I cannot read a French diagram at all)...!

OMG.. I 💙💚💜 how you explain STEP BY STEP..
You speak SLOWLY which I have to say is my #1 main reason I 💜 your videos! You ve got the camera zoomed in good , close & tight which helps a GREAT DEAL!
My mom taught me how to crochet like 20 yrs ago.. and I of course know the basic single & double stitches, but I mostly did the Tunisian stitch, which I absolutely ADORE.. sadly, my mom passed away 2 yrs ago.. and I've got 2 friends both having babies VERY SOON (less than 2 months away) I don't have the $ for all the yarn to do the Tunisian stitch, much less, I can't find either 1 of my long double crochet/knitting hooks.. so here I am, it's been over 4 yrs since I crocheted last.. trying to learn a simple, easy yet stylish stitch for 2 baby blanket/throws that use the least amount of yarn at the same time..
I have literally started making the 1st blanket 6 different times, each trying a different stitching style.. only to get irritated & beyond frustrated every time cuz the ppl go WAY to fast, camera isn't zoomed in tight enough. So I have undo what ive started, and try again..
    Thank you SO MUCH!

Thanks for making this video. I am a beginner and am using this stitch for a mermaid tail afghan. It's my first large crochet project and I'm so glad to have found this beautiful, yet easy pattern.
Tip for other beginners: I found it too hard to make shells from the foundation chain, so I built a sturdier base with a row of doubles (trebles) followed by a row of single (double) crochets. It looks quite nice and the first row gave me the opportunity to perfect my double (treble) stitches for the shells. :)

I believe it was your channel that a member of my knitting club saw and learned how to do this stitch. She's making a blanket using white, light green, a slightly darker green and a reddish rust color. The colors together in a blanket reminds me of red and green apples with some of them cut in half ( because of the white). It is so beautiful.

Lidya Chitra then youll have uneven shells or they won't look like a shell

    • @calliem872
      @calliem872 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Sky Sin and Lidya Chitra You will have even shells, only the at the end of the chain will you find the problem. As you won't have the right amount/number of chains or shells. And then you have to undo it. I have the most problems on the foundation chain, once you get the pattern down from there, it gets easier.
