I’d 100% agree. For the people who said this is a biased video probably has not experienced this unit. For this reason, I plan to buy an Hcalory and LF bros (n2 so the price point is comparable) myself and make a comparison video. Any input of what points specs to compare would be appreciated.
No diesel fume coming out of the inlet duct, however, depending on the wind direction and all, slightly amount of fume smell may make their way into the tent through the opening. Not a big deal since they will just go right out and also I have two CO detector in the tent. If you decide to purchase one, feel free to use my code to help my channel out Thank you!
Nice review. I had no idea these were available. I'm curious why you didn't connect the heater directly to the DC power output of the power station, instead of incurring the electrical losses of the AC to DC converter.
That’s a good question, I did that because I don’t think my power station’s 12v port is rated for that kind of power surge, and being the first time running it I just wanted to keep it safe
Very cool. Great review thanks for the data with it like power supply required etc Seems like a good rtr unit instead of custom work. Maybe the best modular one I've seen
Unfortunately the code only works on the n2 pro during their Black Friday and Christmas sales period, because their sales is pretty darn good at this time. But the pro is still able to use my code. Thanks for letting me know !
@ thanks for the follow-up. I wish the N2 Pro was available, looks like it’s currently unavailable for order. The closest spec seems to be the N3 for the silent fuel pump and Japanese glow plug @ $500. I’m currently debating between that or the N2-T @ $360. I’ll be buying one of them, for sure.
@@g1mpster I am glad to hear. If you don’t mind, please use my Amazon link to direct to the Amazon page, doesn’t cost you a dime but will help me out a bit. Thanks man.
Curious why you want to go from DC to AC back to DC when you could more efficiently just stay DC? They’re pricey, but they do seem much better quality than my cheap $100 unit.
I only did that is because I find my 12v cig port to be somewhat flimsy and I see how it can be accidentally yanked and lose power for the diesel heater which is kind of not good. And plus my 2kwhr etaker power station have enough power to compensate the DC to AC inefficiency so that makes me feel less bad lol. It is much better compared to other CDH especially it’s super quiet and the thermostat function is great to have.
It’s. Or noisy at all actually it’s one of the quietest one out there. However, if you decide to mount it inside of your truck, it’s not recommended since the exhaust has to go outside.
Why don't you place the intake in the tent? That's better for ultimately efficiency. It will draw warmer air to heat rather than very cold air to heat.
I watched a video on the wippro diesel heater, looks like a good heater for the money, but it is unattainable on amazon, I've been waiting 3 weeks . What a joke ! I will give this on a try . Thank you for the video
As long as the power station has a wattage of over 200watt in the output, I’d think that will be fine. And also from my testing it seems to consume 600watt hour of energy for 12 hours. So maybe a 1000whr power station is a safer bet to comfortably run one night.
You ought to put the "I got this unit - plus a bunch of other stuff from this company - for free" at the beginning of the video. Sketchy to bury it in the last 30 seconds of the video.
@@PatO85not sure what you mean by not being honest. It’s a setting I have to select when uploading so it says upfront on the top left corner when the video started “includes paid promotion”. Plus being quality built, better parts such as almost silent fuel pump, and adjustable to altitude and a controller that has thermostat function. And one year warranty. Oh forgot to mention, it comes ready to run. Plus they do have cheaper version of it if you can’t swallow the price tag of the n2 pro.

Hi there, what model do you have? I have found a few on Amazon, big price difference tho. I’m guessing this is the more expensive $639.99 unit?
Pretty impressive. Look forward to more reviews this winter
Will definitely be testing them a lot more when the temperature drops
Thank you for your video!
I am considering buying one. Just wonder if you smell any diesel fume while running?

As I explained in the video, it was getting way too hot in the tent and I want some more cooler and fresh air from outside actually.

does this heater have wifi connection?
Not for this specific model
But they do have a remote controller
It would use much less power if you used 12V direct through the 12V on the power station.
understood. But the 12v outlet of my power station isn’t rated for 170 ish watts
