- This week we drive from robe to beachport along the soft sand and sand dunes.This is something I have wanted to do and was on the list to do but did not want to do it on my own with no real 4x4 experience.So the stars aligned and met some amazing people while travelling South Australia that wanted to do it as well. Could not have done it with a better crew. With some more 4x4 experience I will return and attempt some more sand dunes.
Myself and Sue want to thank everyone for all the messages , texts and phone call with the passing of our best friend Sophie.She will sorely missed by us and I'm sure everyone that has followed our journey this far. We hope to continue to create epic content and keep travelling.
We also share some big news in the upcoming weeks so stay tuned for that.

It’s. Good drive eh? We’ve done it a number of times with the last one 3 weeks ago. The drive to Carpenter Rocks is a solid drive. Nice camp there also. A new van coming I guess

I have been there many times. The softness of the sand varies considerably- at times it can be almost impassable- particularly if there is a big slope down to the water.
Agreed. We have been told we got lucky and we had a good tide that day

Thanks so much. Yeah it was very unexpected. She was fine on Thursday night, Friday morning gone with a burst tumor on the spleen, cancer. Has been a really tough few weeks, she was an amazing dog!
