Please keep up the good work guys, this channel is far better than most out there as you actually explore te unbeaten path. Well done and thank you for your hard work bringing everyone this content!
Long time subscriber, first time commenting. Great episode as always and hopefully Torben didn't eat a "rotten egg" with his sausage. For breakkie. 🍳🥚🍳
First went there over 30 years ago and its great that this area is still accessible. The wide wheel track makes the trailer stable but looks to be holding you back in the sand. The beaches all the way from the Coorong to Canunda have swallowed many, many 4wds over the years.
Second that one. I saw someone say how "easy" it all was down that way but it's very changeable and some of the beaches are downright treacherous. I spoke to a ranger down there after we had, just, managed to get our thing out with Trax and luck and he said exactly the same thing. Something about some of the sand on the beaches down that way. Beautiful area for all of that.
Every time a watch an episode you inspire me to go out and explore further than I have been before. Thanks for the content, it's greatly appreciated, and thank god for "ROTTEN EGG"
Awesome stuff what a awesome spot on the beach and them Ronny balls look bloody awesome as well yummo ..and that last spot on the beach omg magic ... very big thumbs up
I think the catchphrase is “Let the audience decide.” Love your videos because of the scenery combined with the practical application of skills and equipment. Ronny, the camaraderie between you and Torrington adds a lot, too.
“Rotten Egg”. We just come back not long ago from a trip to Robe. Was my first beach driving experience and loved it. Geez the MaxTrax got a workout thats for sure. Wish we had more. Great episode guys
Loved this episode in particular because it was my old stomping ground. Great part of the world. Back in the day I drove an LJ Suzuki which could drive any beach with confidence, just couldn’t carry much.
“Rotten Egg”. We’ve driven that coastline heaps of times but the beaches in Canunda are next level soft in spots from Southend to Carpenter Rocks. Easter this year had 2 of our group hit a beach at 4.00 and 5.5 hours later they were recovered. Love the no nonsense approach to the vids guys
Gobbling on sausage and last one to the point…. Lol. SA, great scenery. Liked your “in darkness we find camp” shirt Ronnie. Great watch on a Sunday morning. 😊
I spend evey weekend out on these tracks from robe to carpenters rocks.. and when im not im watching your videos ... just got stuck on little dip beach the other week literally spent all night trying to dig out and in the end had to camp next to my car hoping the waves didnt Swallow it overnight ..had to get a mate to come down the next day to just to be my winch anchor point .. so i was like awesome when i seen this video !!!
"Rotten Egg" - for a set of maxtrax as seen at 11:56!! Unnecessary question - sticker applied pre/post loading travel buddy clip while up on the dune? P.S. Sand at Pt Lincoln good spot to check out too
I went 4x4 driving/camping at salt creek not far from where you guys were late last year and dam was it a struggle with soft deep sand, some of the worst Ive seen. We saw over a dozen big rigs in one day stuck in the sand lol. Really pushed the patrol to the limits but all in all def worth it with those beautiful beach views + peace and serenity.
"In darkness we find camp" I'm not buying into whether it was dark or not but there was the comment that it was too dark for sunglasses! 27:17 We did this drive earlier this year but in reverse and it was great, track is very tight in several places and you'll give you duco a good 'clean'.
Hey Ronnie, Hey Torbs......I think I have found the one thing the channel is missing, Rc Land Cruiser | Killerbody Lc70 BX01 | Upgrade Train Canopy Camper 4x4 Rc Crawler | E3S-RC 😀
We are hoping our brand new Hilux Rogue doesn’t prove to be a “rotten egg” boys. Got rid of the exec 4x4 and gotten myself into my first proper off road 4x4. Your intro videos to the Hilux has been amazing and I’ve taken on board so much from you Ronny and the gang. We shall be treading carefully with our tyre pressures as we experiment on our Xmas Adventure up in FNQ. Will be doing it with the stock 18’s but will go for a 31 tyre for all round efficiency and ability for my level. Thanks guys. I just need a set of MaxTrax now for when we don’t quite get it right. Cheers
As I live in SA, this drive is certainly on my 4wd bucket list for the future. Just getting into 4 wheeling and wouldn’t want to get bogged like a rotten egg without the gear.
After that epic cinematic show down to the point its gotta be "Rotten egg"!!!! The cameraman gods have spoken. I don't live too far from Robe, planning to that route soon! I've been watching your channel for a few of years now, love it!
Well here’s me planning a trip to Robe to do just that see how hard it is to tow in sand before I make a decision on towing the camper on the Canning Thanks for the info
Great episode and keep doing them this way....Not sure about the catchphrase , I guess it is ""family recipe handed down from centuries" - Should I win the Max Track, well ... living in Germany would mean there is not much use for them (No wilderness here to an extent you need them) so I propose to give them to the second picked person and I would be happy with a t-shirt or a patch for my camper van. Well done Ronny, Torbs and Camera Team... had some very good laughs...
The phrase has to be "I dunno" I reckon. Awesome episode. Dune system driving is as good as it gets I reckon. Especially in a V8 cruiser. They both just sound so good under load in the sand.
Catch Phrase, Who’s the rotten egg - Torben the sausage Jalapeño smoker, with the Royal salute. Jimny needs the Max Trax Thanks Sean. Ps just luv the V8’s sounds.
" Find the missing recovery track." Your videos are always teaching me something. I just got my trailer and am going on my first trip soon. Keep up the awesome work man.
@@Ronny_Dahl there is 1 track along the top and it's a very steep beach down tomthe water, think it's closer to robe from memory, we recovered a crew and they joined our little 4x4 crew, you can check that out on Stuie's Adventures on TH-cam, "robe to beachport, 13 4wd's....."
Last time I was on that track, we were all bogged (3 of us) just trying to recover each other, I had to have the wildpeaks down at 5psi, was a fun trip though 🤣
G'day Ronny, Well I will take a punt on "In Daylight We Find Camp" if it's not a good catch phrase at least it sounds like a good one off anyway. LOL Safe Travels Mate to You & the Crew, Steve.
I’m actually heading down to the Coorong with one of my mates in a few weeks for some 4wd fun. After seeing this I reckon we are going to have to extend the trip so we can hit those dunes. Looked like great fun. Also I think the code word is ‘Rotten Egg’.
Great to see you in SA, I much prefer the Carpenter Rocks to South End beach run as lesser known and travelled. Great editing in this one and loved the banter on the cooking segments 🤘🤘🍻🍻
'Right Here' in SA the Robe to Beachport is on the bucket list for sure. Since it goes 'In darkness we find camp' Ronnie wins and Torbs is the 'rotten egg' as it was still daylight.... nothing in the catch phrase about the sun being visable Looking forward to seeing more SA vids from time to time
Haven't been as far as Robe .. but the sand at Portland was pretty dam soft too ... was on 285/75/16s and at one point I was down to 8 to 10 psi .... 2003 4.8 patrol
Was the code word balls 😂 love the episode mate bout to pack up and head to beach port for a bday trip🎉 i was going to do jakem farm but after seeing this beachport it is❤
Wow no darkness finding camp! And great epp - I’ve been looking at that same trip so it’s good to see I might need some extra bit before I do l. Guess I’m the rotten egg as I’ll be there after you both.
My last set of Maxtrax were actually stolen out of my carport by a Rotten Egg, so I could absolutely use these. Loving the content, and yes.. In Darkness We Find Camp, not After Sunset We Find Camp!
Great stuff. Always loved South Australia and you are right, it does often get overlooked. We spent the better part of a year there on our way round Oz and I would love to go back. One thing I an confused about though, "Jalapenos and chilli", I always thought Jalapenos were chilies???
Did Carpenter Rocks to Southend several year ago and sand was crazy had pressure down to 10 psi saw two overturned Utes in the ocean. would have liked todo the Beacport run. next time 😀
It's a South Australian beach, or it's nothing! Nice video guys. Can't wait to do Robe to Beachport myself (and hopefully with a set of maxtrax!!) Wouldn't want to be stuck on the beach like a rotten egg!
Loved the comeback from Torben! “Where’s the rest of it?” Took you by surprise, was so perfect

If the catch phrase isn’t “Torben went back to gobbling his sausage” I don’t want to win the maxtrax 😂😂

Love when you cram some comedy into your work. Haha that camera guy skit was great.
I think the catchphrase is “Let the audience decide.” Love your videos because of the scenery combined with the practical application of skills and equipment. Ronny, the camaraderie between you and Torrington adds a lot, too.
Just returned from here, 3 hours on the shovel and one set of maxtrax on the VERY soft sand. Ronny’s hot balls could have fuelled us for the recovery.
Man, I had a good laugh with this episode😅. Keep it up guys, this is by far the best off-road show ever.
Thanks for watching ❣️

The cuzzies over here in NZ love the space you have in Aus. Great work even if you have to deal with a Rotten Egg every now and then 😁
Gobbling on sausage and last one to the point…. Lol. SA, great scenery. Liked your “in darkness we find camp” shirt Ronnie. Great watch on a Sunday morning. 😊

Guys loving the little improv moments through the episode. Keeps us laughing during the episodes. Love the channel guys. ROTTEN EGG 🥚
Cool beach driving around the beautiful areas keep up the good content more of it
I swear these guys are a crack up! What would I do without them haha
Robe to Beachport is on our bucket list. Thanks for the funny video.
Great to see spots my parents took me to as a kid. Inspiring me to get back there. Catch phrase: “it’s soft but it’s not that soft”.
Great video and informative, planning on doing this drive one day and am sure a set of maxeys would certainly help. Last one there is a rotten egg!
"Rotten Egg" - for a set of maxtrax as seen at 11:56!!
Unnecessary question - sticker applied pre/post loading travel buddy clip while up on the dune?
P.S. Sand at Pt Lincoln good spot to check out too
Rotten Egg is the code word! Love your work and humour, Ronny and Torben!
"Rotten Egg", another great episode lads. I've done that trip with our local 4X4 club. Anywhere along that coast is great.
“Ronny’s balls” 😂 Robe is incredible, hanging to get back there in summer.

Hilarious episode and credit to your camera crew. Did the Robe to Beachport in a Holden Jackaroo back in the day, no rotten eggs on our trip!.
Curious as to roughly where the first nights campsite was? Keen to head back over that way again & do some beach camping next time tho. 👍👍
“Rotten egg”
Such a great episode! Beautiful scenarios and great beach driving! 👏👏

Awesome episode. Dune system driving is as good as it gets I reckon. Especially in a V8 cruiser. They both just sound so good under load in the sand.
I love "lots of Jalapenos and lots of chilli" and the good thing about that is, you know when your hungry cause you bum stops burning. Great edit.
Awesome entertaining vid Ronny. Great touring and great camping as always. The Rotten Egg race was Monty Pythonesque. Love the sound of those v8,s
My stock 4banger tacoma is jealous of these rigs. Wish i could visit Australia sometime. Love the vids guys "rotten Egg" 🌭🥚🥚

There's 1 beach in there that is super soft never turn around towing or not it's sooo soft... Loved the cooking segment, had a good laugh...
Is that the last one before Beachport? That’s the one we were warned about by 2 different people

Hi Ronny 😀 you should call this video a "jalapeno trip" 🤣🤣 greetings from Poland 🍻
Another great vid, Great to see you in SA ... last one to the point is a 'rotten egg'
I'm new here but, love the videos and your trucks are badass!
Great edit and a hell of a location.
Great stuff. Always loved South Australia and you are right, it does often get overlooked. We spent the better part of a year there on our way round Oz and I would love to go back. One thing I an confused about though, "Jalapenos and chilli", I always thought Jalapenos were chilies???
I’d say you are correct mate 😂 I just have so many of them I consider them in a class of their own 😄
The secret is #ROTTEN EGGS
Although it should be sausage eaters 🤣🤣🤣
Great episode guys, good laugh
Finding camp in darkness has got to mean there's no light left. Torbs is just a rotten egg 😂
Did Carpenter Rocks to Southend several year ago and sand was crazy had pressure down to 10 psi saw two overturned Utes in the ocean. would have liked todo the Beacport run. next time 😀
Awesome episode 👏 love the content and whst a beautiful beach ⛱️

Wouldn't want to be stuck on the beach like a rotten egg!
