Hi, thanks for sharing your thoughts and fears! I guess we all have the same feelings about this. Fear protects us from doing stupid things. Im 55 now and own a PAS, getting 4000km on it and im happy with this bike. At the moment im thru chemo and this bike is my real therapy! Thank you, enyou life and ride safe, bro!!! Greetings from Germany
Thank you for your comments and for watching the video. Good luck with the Chemo, I think most of us have someone close to us who have been affected by cancer. I hope your journey is a healthy one, stay positive and keep on riding! Good luck.
I think if these issues stress you that bad, you should make sure you you have the best dealer support and best warranty. It doesn't matter if you keep the bike you are on or get a completely different one. They are all going to have small issues. I got rid of my GS because of issues and massive parts lead times. The PA had less issues and better support, but I'm in the USA.
I've had really good support from my dealer, they have been great and understand about my health. I'm hoping to have a few months of trouble free riding and get a 24/74 later in the year.
If you’re looking at Triumph and BMW, both good bikes, but you will likely have issues. I have well over 15,000 miles on my Pan America and I’ve had zero issues. Also, Jiffy stand is not an American thing, it’s a Harley Davidson thing. It’s a patent for the style of side stand they use. If you notice, when you extend your side stand, it locks into place under the weight of the bike so it doesn’t roll forward off the side stand. That’s the “jiffy” stand.
Great video Stan, love that area! 😘 If you want some off-road adventures, Nick and I are always happy to help out! 😊👍
I want to do a bit more this year, preferably when it's a bit dryer so my tyres won't get clogged up.

Every days a school day 😁
Doesn't explain why to the Breakouts are always falling off the jiffy stand though lol
Oh my goodness… Haven’t heard about that on any of the forums for a good 10 years. Anyway, your answer can be found by a simple Google search :-)
