This demo gives you an idea of how the built in sounds for pop songs of the 80's sound, but there are two issues, one, you are probably listening through your phone or a laptop, so it isn't going to sound as rich as the Kronos does with nice amps and speakers, and two, the selected songs come from the perspective of imitation, you can tweak these sounds to death, each sound has around 40-60 tabs with multiple adjustments on each page. From there you can add layering, overlapping layers, splits, processing, effects, drum patterns and arpeggiations. From there you can move on to 2000 or so other sounds that come as presets. This demo is fun, but there is way more the Kronos can do. s
You know what’s left to do: make it happen, do a demo that covers all you said (I would love to watch it before buying the Kronos, as I’m still hesitant for the very reasons you mentioned).
Iistening a 2nd time, I must say I'm impressed! When you think about it, to get this large variety of synth sounds on just one keyboard is really an astonishing act! Think about it. Great as the mini moog or DX7 or OBX, or Hammond, could any of them emulate such a huge diversity of sounds so well? Not even close, yet we're hearing it right before our eyes. And it's gorgeous, i bought my Kronos 2 years ago, and have barely scratched the surface what it can do or sound like, i doubt I'll ever sell it to trade, what can possibly be better? Nothing!
What you have here is 9 synths a vocoder a sequence an advanced arpeggio tool and a sea of infinite drum sounds, I think he did a good job here and its literally all down to the musicians to exploit their own creativity........
Fantastic video and great product the KORG KRONOS 2 - so good I bought one!!! Thanks to Keith at AC Hamilton for his personal service and expert demo cheers. More videos please regards Ian from Bolton
it's a well presented demo, bur I don't get why people rehash all the old music and same sounds we've heard, it's certainly great, but Kronos is a giant synth capable of far more than sounds we've heard before. However, if you want these vintage sounds, Kronos has no iimitations and can deliver quite well. I always dreamed of having a VOX Continental organ, and just bought this sound set, you'd think I had the organ in my living room, sounded so real, actually better as the Kronos can stack sounds and add so many great efx, what a synth, nothing can touch it, not even close! Nice demo!
Excellent 👍🎹🎶 Are they all factory programs, or also purchased additional sound libraries? Do you prefer the Kronos 2 or the Montage M for playing improvised instrumental piano with layered strings & choir? Thank you 🤗🎹🎶
4:43 Favorite demo song that you played. Top Gun is one of my favorite movies. I didnt know that song was in E Major. I never wrote a song in E Major/C# minor. I'm going to write a song in that key and see how it turns out. Hopefully it will come out a fraction as great as that Berlin song. 5:35 Regulators. Mount up. I definitely want the Titanium limited edition of kronos2. I'm pretty sure someone still has a brand new box sitting in their storage unit that they want to sell to me lol
PLEASE!!!!!!! Those idiot rappers sampled that part from Michael McDonald's BEST hit! (I Keep Forgettin' (Every Time You're Near) And raped it with some whining and rhyming poetry words Rap is not music.
James Morgan lol.....where the fuck is he going....lmao. Who zeros in on that during a keyboard demo? Thanks for the laugh, this poor guy was given a verbal wedgie......
Can anyone please be so kind and tell me what's the original title for the song played at 5:34? It's on my lips, but i can't remember (lapsus)... thanks in advance!
Greetings Sir, just want to find out if you have any demo about the Kurzweil PC3K8 and what are your thoughts on that kind of keyboard. Thanks & God bless you! great video by the way! I love it very much!
+rondutch23 Both the Motif - or now Yamaha Montage (www.achamilton.co.uk/Yamaha/ProMusic/Montage.htm) will be excellent for EDM. Yamaha does has a very powerful arpeggiation system with thousands of arpeggiators to choose from very easily. That is great for ideas and creativity. The KRONOS offers incredible detail when it comes to editing i.e. MS20 engine and connecting cables with the vintage synth sounds. Both products have their positives. Best bet is to own Both ;)
can't decide between a workstation or an arranger korg or yamaha please help!!! i need memory i have a home studio and create my own music i'm leaning towards the arranger pa3x but they all sound great
I have a Kronos 2. There are hundreds of drum patterns which you can synchronize with the tempo so its actually that. And the tracks are properly organized so that there are smooth transitions between the pattern so that you can graduly increase the rythm intensity while remaining in a compatible style. Sounds are amazing but with 2 monitors its hard to feel how good the sound is. Playing the demo on my 27 inch screen does not justice to the demo but that is because of my screen , not because of his demo. I have to agree it seems that many time we can hear consensual demos rather than something off the beaten tracks and regarding Kronos it definitely does more than this. I played guitar solo with distorsion and this was real fun.
I saw that you recently did a video with the new Electro 5 HP. If you don't count the fact that this is workstation (I don't really need a workstation because I use a bunch of software), how does this compare in terms of sound quality, quality, portability, and user friendliness? This looks like a great board. So great that I'm officially torn between the 2.
Marcus Wiles Hi Marcus. Its one of those questions that really will differ depending on the person using the product and their ears. The only way to tell what suits you is to try them both yourself. Both sound top class. The Korg obviously offers a lot more with incredible sound editing features and capabilities where the Nord is more dedicated to its piano and organ stuff. I don't find either complicated but I know how they work so obviously its no issue for me. Portability - nothing will touch the Nord but it all depends if portability is more important than sound availability and features. I always prefer hardware over software synths so for me the choice of more, high quality sounds would be the decider. I would recommend you check them out in store or come to see us if your local and we can go through them with you.
they were being modest with you, i just purchesed 2 months ago and let me tell you, ive abadoned all my soft synths. kronos crushes. my buddies have the nord 2 and yamaha motif...which are also on par with kronos. just absolutly amazing sounding without tieing up midi resourses
I was looking into picking up the Kronos 2, but I'm not much of a "live" player, primarily at home studio recording segments for videos I record and produce. Does anyone have info on how well the Kronos would accompany a DAW -- I know this may sound odd, but I like to listen to sounds the KORG can produce vs. the sounds my DAW can produce ... run the MIDI sequence thru both to compare. And finally, can the Kronos 2 be used as a DSP with multi-channel output (lists 6 outputs L,R,1,2,3,4) ... effectively eliminating my existing MOTU interface?
+Rob Ainscough just like you Iam looking for a synth or controller to do some home studio recording, not interested in live concerts. Any idea which controller or synth to buy? One that allows you to save and play tons of software sounds from the internet and at the same time be able to create new sounds by yourself and music.
Rob, Like what issues? I bought kronos 2, but maybe i should have bought justr a midi keyboard and use it with DAW. Anyway i need to plug it to DAW. So why do i need this expensive keyboard?
Thank you for this great demo. The only problem i have is this: All of your sounds so far can easily be found and played from the Korg Krome.(nothing wrong with that). The only thing I noticed so far was that your drum sets sounded more realistic than Kronos. Please, could you also create a demo with sounds only available to kronos?
the new kronos series is a great synth board i love the good sounds Ps the kronos is a nice synth when play live on giggs with the many good sound patches but i use the korg not as mush . as a studio music maker producer i can do mush more on my older yamaha motif xs with more options to can record without any daw complete multitrack music recording projects and can mix all single recording tracks = and can master with the more sound effects and also convert a full multitrack wave audio format again using non daw... so the great new kronos is more a sound voice mode beast when only use sound patches in live play stage giggs for a studio guy its a nice second board .. ok for me i speak for my own wishes on a full synth music workstation and notice i m a older guy who not like work with the complexed Daw s and make music with a pc mouse and never works like you wish i like to make simple way music the pc uis not for me on the kronos you do need a daw & pc to create in quick time - real time music recording projects grts from a grandpa from holland th-cam.com/users/ronmotif
I have MOXF6 (with flashcard). Thinking about replace with Jupiter 50. JP50 feels great touching. ( better than moxf6) My set up Nord Stage 2 HP76 Yamaha Moxf6 Access Virus TI Snow Nord Lead A1 Moog Miniature Novation KS5 Kronos 2 is a great instrument. JP50 has 76 keys which is comfortable for pianists. I will let go KS5, Moog, ti snow and get a Virus Ti2. Nord Lead A1+MOXF6=Kronos 2 61 I will uptade my set up but I change my mind everyday I 'm stuck:-) Help needed!
This is suppose to be a demo illustrating the KRONOS 2 and it may as well just be a demo for the SV-1. You piano guys would be better off saving money and buying a piano/organ type synthesizer. I go to these demo videos expecting to see some real examples of what a KRONOS can do and this is all I get.
Every 'youtube' video you watch, Kraft music, Rich Formidoni and the rest who promote Korg's flagship keyboard, get excited about the realistic 'grand piano' sounds on this instrument, don't get me wrong, it is a superb keyboard, but they DO NOT inform you that the 'grand piano' are for demo only and NOT the full version, that you have to buy.

First keyboard demo that I didn't close within 5 seconds of hearing the playing. Props to you mate. Great playing.

Ian Rutter Thanks Ian, we will try and find time to do some more videos soon.
This is how I like muy demos. Pure sound and no englishman talking about the specifications.
A large touch-screen and great sounds, put this one in front of the competition. Great Demo
still better than montage :D
it's a well presented demo, bur I don't get why people rehash all the old music and same sounds we've heard, it's certainly great, but Kronos is a giant synth capable of far more than sounds we've heard before. I just bought a Korg Kronos 2, Roland Jupiter 80 and Yamaha Motif XF7. It's all you really need.
I know of a lot of people who use this beast for studio work. Great vid!
i like my kronos 2 - 88 in black. awesome display. sold my triton extreme and the M3, no regrets..........
I'm definitely gonna order korg kronos soon 2022
Good to hear Prince's songs!
Excellent 👍🎹🎶 Are they all factory programs, or also purchased additional sound libraries? Do you prefer the Kronos 2 or the Montage M for playing improvised instrumental piano with layered strings & choir? Thank you 🤗🎹🎶
excellent la demo enfin une vrai demo !
wow those are the direct sounds of the real songs. I can imagine what's it can really do
There are unlimited editing features by far the most advanced around at the minute

What a demo ... well done!
LOVE the Rocky Theme!
Good demo!
the sound quality is amazing ... great demo, I wonder what happens next (Kronos 3?) ...
Who was the guy walking through the shot during "Take My Breathe Away"? Where the fuck was he going?
James Morgan lol.....where the fuck is he going....lmao. Who zeros in on that during a keyboard demo? Thanks for the laugh, this poor guy was given a verbal wedgie......
Must've taken his breath away.
Anthony Rodemus he was going outside to get some fresh air
Ooooohhhh ... what a great sound! :-O I love it.
Great demo....loved it ! Just struggled listening to Logical song an octave lower....lol
Can anyone please be so kind and tell me what's the original title for the song played at 5:34? It's on my lips, but i can't remember (lapsus)... thanks in advance!
Adrian Ioan Its a version of Regulate - Nate Dogg and Warren G remix
Extremely talented playing, an excellent presentation.
How called the song of minute 4:12 ?. Very good video !!!!
Hola, estaran los nuevos sonidos disponibles para el kronos x o habrá que pagar por ellos?
very very good demo ! thanks
Greetings Sir, just want to find out if you have any demo about the Kurzweil PC3K8 and what are your thoughts on that kind of keyboard. Thanks & God bless you! great video by the way! I love it very much!
so laid back now...triton sounds were Passionate and exciting, like micro x....all gone now ??
Great demo for sure!
The drum tracks are pre programmed to match the sounds of the famous songs included.
7:13 - what was that riff?!
Wow! That was great! Especially the last song from Rocky and Drago's training montage. You need a MONTAGE!
Genial, mas cuando tocaste Pyramid Song! amo Korg!
Do you deliver all around the uk or only in lankershire. I'm thinking of buying a kronos :)
wow you are so talented! , god blessed you
Would like to see a demo of Kronos handling EDM sounds for use in contemporary cover bands..
Or will Motif be better at these things?

+A&C Hamilton Musical Instruments dont forget that korg uses KARMA.
Both boards play them all well, a friend has both and each has differences, depends on what you want.
I am assuming that the drum tracks used had to be created separately?
dear my friend! what is the music performed with the dream piano? tks...
Cristhian Jesus I think you mean the Rocky Iv Training Montage
Can't even get the beautiful 'DX7' synth-bass sound anywhere close to - as on - "Take My Breath Away"!
Hallo, da kann ich mir auch eine CD einlegen ich weiß nicht was da so besonders sein soll??
can't decide between a workstation or an arranger korg or yamaha please help!!! i need memory i have a home studio and create my own music i'm leaning towards the arranger pa3x but they all sound great
where do you get the back-beats you play over? Is there a built in loop station in it?
I have a Kronos 2. There are hundreds of drum patterns which you can synchronize with the tempo so its actually that. Can anybody tell me who recorded the song Dreaming, (the original one), played in this video?, thanks.
It's from movie Rocky IV. Vince Dicola - "Training Montage" I guess
Igor Gredil
Thanks Igor
Olá esse teclado tem quantos combinações?
Esse teclado é melhor que o Yamaha montage?
Obrigado Deus abençoe.
what's that song at 1:00 i wanna listen to it i forget
Great Korg !
Is there Electric Bass glisses forth and back on one key press?
Excellent demo what speakers do you use?
What was the last song you played. It's driving me nuts.
+Renny that's vince dicolas original soundtrack for rocky 4

Excellent choice!!!
+A&C Hamilton Musical Instruments i know the last peice was from rocky (i think) but what is the title of it?
I have Korg Kronos 2 Version 3.0.2 . what is the latest version going on now
Por favor el precio de este teclado. Y la referencia
Wonderful!!!
Will These new Sounds avaible for Jörg Kronos x?
How does the Kronos compare to the Kurzweil PC38K?
The Kurzweil PC3 range are absolutely awesome with killer sounds.I love mine ❤
Why does everyone who shows demos have to sound like its 1982???
Believe or not, the 80's was the best decade in terms of music.
Umm... we don't believe it.
^..^~~
Doesn't matter or not whether or not you believe. The 80's was the BEST!!
Yes, and the usual fixation with piano.
Johnny 5 no...it wasnt

Thanks for response, I decide to go another route as I've read too many issues with Kronos 2 that I feel shouldn't exist in a $4000 keyboard.

What is the song on 1:58?
+Панин Женя Virtual Insanity by Jamiroquai
+Scott Babb Thanks a lot!
hola saludos alguien me puede ayudar quien es mejor el KORG KRONOS X o el KORG KRONOS 2015?.........gracias por la respuestas
The new KRONOS 2 is the best version.
nord, kurzweil, roland o yamaha, korg es de segunda calidad
Es cuestion de gustos, probalo vos en vivo y ahi ves. A mi me gusta mucho korg, y
tengo tambien yamaha.
Mauricio West Hay gente que usa tremendos teclados y sin embargo hacen las conexiones en mono. Que desperdicio.
¿Lo decis por mi video Alejandro Donaire?. ya mejore eso.
Whats the song name at 6:22
Stefan Tsankov I think is "True Colors" - Cyndi Lauper.
nice.
I play kronos,too.
Thank you.
what song at 4:20?
Faithless - Insomnia
song at 5:59??
Excellent
I liked the hammer action on the Fantom G8 much better than the Kronos 2 88!
02:53 this one sounds very similar to One More Try by George Michael.
Good luck finding a repair center if it ever breaks on you. The link on Korg's site has not worked in probably a year.
4:13 Song ?

Best Song ever

Kronos 2 ore fantom 8?
Who in the hell would wanna buy this keyboard for over $3,000 because of what he's playing throughout the video...for example 2:19
You should show us all the (about) 200 famous songs samples :-)
oof, when the Radiohead came in 0:26
queria saber pra que o Kronos tem esse teclado numerico, quem usa isso hoje em dia?
very nice
very good playing
Nice video screen. Now they need to work on the sound.
6:48 - ROCKY!
song at 1:00?
Logical Song by Supertramp
WOW! Its sounds great if you are looking for that cheap Filipino karaoke sound!
how would you compare the Kronos 2 to the Kurzweil PC3K8?
entenfang the Korg Kronos 2 2015 model is better all around workstation! nothing comes close!
Hahaha! Love the hardware synths, but can't justify the cost when the VSTs sound so much more modern. Sucker for cheesy sounding synths though.
Herman Crantz trust me theres a lot more to this keyboard then this. play he is mimicing the 80s sound. you probably was born in the 80s
DX7 and DX21 Elec. Pianos sound much better!
Great demo but lady Madonna is in the wrong key!
And, it sounds more like "Laddy Ma'Ding Dong!"
Song at 6:46-7:30 please?!
Rocky Iv Training Montage
Nice
"Thriller" sounds like a SQUEEZEBOX! And the 'Elec. Pianos' sound zilch like a RHODES!
@pupsamson777 The last korg I owned was a Poly 61.
wish the sounds wasn't that distorted :(
2:19 Chas n Dave play The Beatles
the intro at nothin compares is identical with intro from a different corner George Michael!! Did you notice?
Yes, I was gonna comment the same but it is similar to One More Try. (not From a different corner)
@@gabrielirlanda yes, thats it
It is too polished. It needs some dirtying up.
It's his playing. Wussy versions of everything.
I must be Wussy, sounds great.
These sounds are available in VST instruments. So why pay money for these toys?
👍👋👋👋👋
Supertramp!
i have a korg m50 and im ok already. kronos is great but not for me. every musician has their own opinion if it fits their needs or not. im done upgrading and upgrading.
