THIS IS AMAZING!!!!! I've heard different presentations of a self made sounds on Kronos, but this one is the BEST! All sounds are presented in their own music style and that is GREAT! Because very often presentation consists of 20-30 sounds with the same played melody - it's boring. But you presented each sound from it's best perspective. Really enjoyed listening to these sounds. I don't have Kronos, but I'm absolutely sure that this keyboard is the best of all present on market. It has huge possibilities for creativity! Keep going!
Korg great sounds. I remember when I bought my first multi-timbral sound module the M3R = M1 That was big in the 80s Then the Triton wow Thanks for the post
Beautiful playing my friend, as for the sounds, truly awesome! I've watched & listened to countless TH-cam videos on the Kronos & I intend to own 1 in the not to distant future, it's a superb composition tool, workstation (9synths)keyboard, looking forward to watching more of your excellent playing, Thank you 😊
Awesome, GB. Was debating on whether to get the Montage or this one. The more I hear the Korg, the more I am convinced. You are one of those guys who could play "Mary Had A Little Lamb" and make a masterpiece out of it. Thank you for your time and sharing this!
Hi Gerrit, Excellent sounds, and your attention to detail is a joy. I could play your sound set for hours and be a very happy person. Please contact me. Best regards from Scotland.
I don't understand why are people debating about a KRONOS vs DAW/VST ? I see the KRONOS has very rich sounds and flexibility for your own customization. The Parameter Guide alone (1100+ pages) that comes with it which surely shows how unlimited this instrument is. Who says it is LIMITED? I agree that software VSTs are huge in number but who needs all these trillions of sounds anyway? In my opinion, hardware workstations are not LIMITED at all. Besides the stock sounds, you have an enormous sound libraries online for purchase to expand your rig. Just more than you need. Again, you also create your own sounds indefinitely. At least, I am not using a mouse to write my music. I am buying KRONOS 2 next month :)
Hello Garrit. my name is John and I live in Argentina. The sounds made in Kronos are very good. congratulate him, it sounds very good designer. I would like to have these sounds, is it possible? A hug from Patagonia Argentina. (translated with google translator)
I chose Montage because it has more sample ROM, but soon found out there's no support for una corda pedal and it won't play more than 8 MIDI channels from a DAW. Some vexing limitations.
Totally enjoyed your demonstration of your sound creations Amazing ! Very high quality patches with great ambience Coupled with your incredible playing , wow Are these patches for the kronos available to buy / download ? I would so Luv to load them to my kronos Thanks for sharing
These are not patches! Patches are designed on modular and semi-modular synthesizers! These sounds are designed by programing! There are no patching cords involved!
Gerrit Bosman, your sensibility at playing is noticeable - as is your good taste for creating these patches ! If I still had my Korg I would place an order right now, but that will have to wait - first my new home, then my new Korg Kronos, and immediately after, GB's incredible sounds ;-) By the way, how long have you been studying-playing? Keep it up, you are indeed a talented musician !
Hi Gerrit, fabulous 🎹🎶playing…. Would you be so kind to share the fabulous chord progressions in the Vox Humana demo, & the warm slow synth strings, thank you, much appreciated. Cheers, Garzo
@@GerboMusic Fair enough Gerrit, I understand, as I'm mainly an improvisational muso myself, and rarely in recent years do I read and play music of others. Thank you for your reply, and enjoy music forever. Cheers, Garzo 🙂

I just recently got a Kronos too and its my first keyboard ever, really beautiful instrument. Is it possible to get or have some of these beautiful patches? there's only a few I'm interested in. :)
How do you use your Tyros in combo wit the Kronos, Im thinking of the same conbo and wonder how you like using them together? The diffrent features of both you like?
Great!!! Tell me something: how did you sync audio and video? I believe you're using an audio interface, right? Is the video camera capturing audio too in order for you to sync in a specific program? I've been searching for a tutorial on how to record keyboard videos and upload them on youtube, but I can't find! Tks!
I have a good camera and a tascam digital sd recorder , so I press record on the camera and sd recorder and when I'm done load video and sound in a video program in the computer and mix the sound and video to make a movie at the highest quality possible
These are all extremely professional sounds and I'm SO jealous! I hope that you are not only enjoying programming and playing the Kronos but that you are also making some money from it. Are these sounds available to purchase?
Great ......Great.....Great...... Patches and palying , Sri ! I am from India have Roland Fantom G , if you have Fantom G patches like this .... please contact me ...
ak kum I have used the Fantom X88 since it's inception and sold to purchase the Korg Kronos X 88 (the latest Korg after the regular Kronos) This is my preference if it helps at all. I enjoy the pure organic sounds of the Fantom, especially the pianos I had in the expansion bay and orchestral instruments buy a long mile over the Kronos X. For the Kronos X I prefer the synth sounds as they are hard to describe why but are sharper in image and just have and edge in the timbre over the Roland sounds. The most important thing if you didn't already know this is that you can purchase tons of new sounds and slide them into any of the 8 expansion bays on the Fantom. If I am mistaken that they have rid of this in the Fantom G from the Fantom X, my apologies but I would imagine you could still get plenty of extra sounds made specifically for the Fantom **you can always get sounds off the net but the ones created for the Fantom are my choice. Additionally, I am listening to all of these through 3 sets of studio monitors ergo Mackie HR824mk2 8 1/4" with 1" dome tweeters, a pair of M-Audio BX8 carbons and a pair of home made or made by a good friend 6inchers with ribbon tweeters plus Beyer Dynamic DT990 (open back) headphones, each with their pluses and minuses as they each serve a different purpose in mixdowns etc but never mastering- My point is that I have had an array of quality studio monitors and headphones that aren't quite flat but close enough that you aren't feeling like you've turned your song into hip hop eq'd quality in the low end. AND... the verdict my friend is that you own a Roland that has plenty of additional options for sounds and need not look to Korg for them (sorry Kork, but I own your top workstation and love it dearly and as I have mentioned, as is everyone's posturing regardless of what they profess, when it comes to workstation sounds, it comes to preference. If you aren't sure, make your way to your closest keyboard outlet of Guitar Center and grab the highest end headphones or see if you can connect to some higher end monitors on the Korg AND the Fantom with the full expansion bay of sounds. If I were a betting man, I would place my money that you will choose the fantom generated sounds if you are into more of an organic sound and warmer, maybe almost the warmth of the old analog sounds. Otherwise you'll like the Kronos for it's synth sounds and the maybe some of the other 9 generator sound banks. WIth that someone else on this would be able to tell you if you could maybe SAMPLE? and install on the Fantom? That is beyond my expertise. Sorry for the long winded note to you but even just recently I recorded Chopin's Etude Op10, no1 on both units and it was a landslide in favor the the TRUE PIANO expansion sounds of the Fantom over ANY piano in the Kronos X by myself and several others. Hope this helps.Mackie HR824mk2
Hi, my name is András from Budapest, Hungary. I like your kronos patches very much, and I would like to ask that, if it is possible to download or buy somewhere? Thanks for giving this sound pleasure....
Yes i think that can be done . You have to listen very careful to each sound and than chose the right samples in the initial sound edit mode to start with . than modify them to create a sound that sounds like the video sound . The Yamaha Motif XF is a very powerful synth. the sample i used what i can remember are piano ,electric piano, vocal, organ ,brass, analog pad, noise, analog str. and effects etc. in different combinations in one ore more elements . I agree you have to have some experience to do that .start with the easy ones. Good luck !!
I just bought the XF6 because its cheaper but I know the Kronos is superior because of the 9 synth engine technologies it has, the preset sounds of the Kronos blow the XF in many areas, specially the pads, organs, some strings and the acustic pianos. I might later get an M3 module or a Kronos module if they do make one.
@@GerboMusic Thanks does it have an actual Arp Button on the main panel as i didn't see one in the photos of the Kronos 2, the Yamaha Montage has over 10,000 Arpeggiators has the Kronos as many as that.
I don't play in a studio or write music but what I do want is a keyboard that allows me to replicate ANY sound I want and layer those sounds to build a song starting with drums ect... Is it worth going for the krone or spending the extra to get the Kronos 2 I would really appreciate feedback. Many thanks
I am proud to say I have this synth. Very nice.
