Amazing info on the two devices. I don't think anyone commented on this yet, the Firestick 4k Max just went on sale about a few hours ago for about $35 at Amazon. I thought I'd give the FYI If anyone is interested in purchasing this device. It'd be my very first firestick purchase as well.

Your video helped me make my decision. I decided to go with the Fire TV cube. With my TV mount being able to extend and swivel, I have it mounted right behind the TV on a Fire Cube wall mount. The performance between my 4k Fire Stick compared to the Cube is night and day.

I had a 4k firestick
But I invested in a 2nd Generation cube and I wouldn't go back to firestick
The cube is so much better
The only thing I will say is when you first try to update your cube you need to use a wire from your cube to router and update your cube before you can use the WiFi on the cube

I went with the firestick 4K max, at Christmas it was only $35. If the fire tv cube had a gig Ethernet port or usb c port I would went with the cube
Both on offer at the moment on Amazon UK. £59.99 for cube and £36.99 for 4k max. Ordered my second cube.

Got 2 cubes, 60 and 55 quid. Used the 4k sticks, they are good but the cubes are just a bargain, however I would still use the sticks they are still very usable

HELLO, ONE ISSUE ABOUT THE ANAZON FIRE STICK 4K, IS THAT I TRIED TO ADDRESS WITH AMAZON, IS THAT WHEN USING BLUE TOOTH WITH BLUETOOTH HEADPHONES, THERE IS NO ADJUSTABLE VOLUME, WITH THE HEADPHONES MAXED OUT, AND THE (AMAZON FIRE STICK 4K)AT A SET VOLUME, I CAN NOT TURN UP THE VOLUME BASS OR TREBLE. CAN YOU LOOK INTO THIS?

Just purchased the fire cube second generation and waiting for delivery. Question is I want to hide it behind the TV...Will doing this prevent the remote control from working properly? If so, do I need to use the IR extender?
No, the remote is Bluetooth and shouldn't require the extender if it is just behind your TV. You may need the extender if the Cube is place inside of a cupboard as an example. Thank you for watching 😊👍❤️

if you just want a smooth experience in HD on Netflix, Amazon Prime and TH-cam, are the differences between Firestick 4K MAX and Fire Cube significant or neglectable?
No, they are not significant. Streaming experiences are the same between these 2 devices unless you have a Wi-Fi 6 router (which I do not have) then you may notice a difference with the 4K Max. Thank you for watching 😊👍❤️

I use Nvidia Shield TV Pro units because no bloatware & Fire devices must be connected to internet or they are useless. PLEX or movies on attached storage for android boxes still function with no internet.

Great information Tanya 😁 I've got the 4k Max with otg and it's a snappy little number 😂 but after what you've just shown on Geekbench 5 it gets trounced on performance 😳 The cube is a liitle expensive atm, and I need to do more research on it. But i do take advantage of WiFi 6 sooo it's swings and roundabouts 🤷♂️

Nice one Tanya, I do like the Cube apart from its terrible audio integration with my Denon amp. Also, why isn't there a proper ethernet port, instead of that useless USB-2 dongle? It's not like they didn't have room for one, cheapskates!
I agree, there is definitely some room for improvement, but for the power and price (when on sale) it's a pretty impressive streaming device in my opinion. There are no other Android boxes that I have seen within the same price range that compare when benchmarking performance. Thank you for watching 😊👍❤️

I live in ireland and purchased the fire stick 4K MAX of amazone thinking i would get the exact same fire stick as sold to the uk customers but no it seams the uk version has a live feature on the home page and the ones that are sold in ireland or irish customers do not what is going on there

I have just ordered a Fire Cube in the Amazon Black Friday sale.
I don't have router with Wi-Fi 6 and with having to buy an ethernet adaptor for the stick
i decided that with the sale price, the cube would be the better option

The firecube blows the sticks out of the water processor wise and storage wise ram I think the cube has 2 gigs as the latest sticks have 1.5 processor wise the cube it's an 6 core while the sticks are quad core processors

Just purchased 4k max ...when I clear cache the digits go to zero, like other fire stick generations, however the 4k max cache returns to the numbers I'm attempting to clean. Is this normal?
I have the same issue but my 4k fire stick clears cache without any issue.

I got the new max and being honest, besides the fact that it can easily be expanded in memory, I find the 4K firestick better, maybe my max is a defective but the remote control is less responsive, and I have exactly the same apps on both firesticks.

My Cube pauses automatically in the middle of streaming. Spent a lot of time with Amazon trying to work this out. Never solved it. It's a POS. My two Sticks work well.
