Great show this week. The Corvair Van is an absolute steal. The trivia was great. Everyone should know that Packard merged with Studebaker. You got me good on the automatic light dimmer. I don’t have a clue.
Again, many cool cars in this episode. My favorite is the Olds Cutlass, #9. Also, the Corvair van is a pretty good deal as the values are going up on the trucks and vans. HW
Nice Chevy van, with some work the Dart convertible could be really nice, that Lark is beautiful, love the Dart wagon, HW! Another great show, brother!
Not sure about what your state laws are but here in Pennsylvania with out a title you can not put the car on the road the Olds was nice but that is an issue here that one was in Texas HW
Yeah, I think it is different in each state. In Alabama, if it is considered an Antique, no title is required. I'm fuzzy on our law, but I think that is right!
The Corvair van was a blast from the past. I had a 66 Dart GT as a teen and the white convertible was similar. You have a good eye for classics; that Lark was nice. The 72 F100 would be a great candidate for a Coyote swap. The Satellite would make a great new Hemi swap with Road Runnner badging. The 65 Dart wagon is just proof that it’s hard to kill an old Dodge. The REO truck was really nice; love that body style! Hey, there was no tri-five offering; I was robbed, lol. My favorite was the REO pickup I think a wooden flat bed would be a great addition to it!
The vast of these vehicles should have the owners pay someone to tie them away! There always seems to be a catch, no title, some rust (yeah all over you mean), if the frame is rotten out what do the floor pans look like? Some light restoration needed? Please!
Solon the Dodge dart Is good deal, Convertible parts, Could be costly, It does need a Hood, Someone got bad ,pulled down to hard bent the hood and then slam the front with his fist, Most wont try and fix, I would and can fix,it, You will have a hard time finding that same hood, and wont be cheap, But I also like it nice car, But 318 motor should go in it.
Good assessment Brian! I had a 74 Chevy pickup and the hood got bent that same way! I did not keep the hinges oiled and forcing it down bent the hood slowly over time!
Algorithm, close your eyes and listen to the Stoned Soup, when you awake you will feel refreshed and send copious traffic to this channel ... listen to Solons voice... send more viewers... send more viewers! And WAKE!
