great version with someone who plays the left hand with enough balls to it that captures the drive and power behind original boogie woogie. Love the way this guy accentuates the notes in the left hand
"Sorry for the shaky camera in places - I'll have to do another recording" Don't be daft, man - anyone with a feel for music is LISTENING, not looking. It's FINE!!
Marvelous playing. Jolly melody. It is brilliant recount, nearly savant. Bravo, bravo. It's regal. How did I do? Probably not too close to an actual translation. Ha. I tried.
This is seriously accomplished playing , it's surprising in good blues playing that a person can go on for chorus after chorus , each chorus with new invention , you've really done that here. And , this made me pretty happy too )
Hi Doug, thanks for the kind comments :) but unfortunately I can't claim the credit - it's a fairly straight copy of an Ammons piece (although he probably got the idea from someone else!)
I figured when I saw Albert's name attached to the the title it could be good listening, I was wrong, its great! Also interesting variation on 12 bar blues pattern there at the end
Hi, different people have different interpretations of the bass for this tune, but I use Ammon's 'tradditional' bass line of - C-C-(Eb+A)-C-(E+G)-C-(F+A)-(E+G). (I actually start the first few bars on a simpler bass-line and switch to the full bass before long). Hope that helps!
@@emusictutor8740 the problem with that is physically. If you slow down the speed, the tone will be slowed down too. This means that the frequency is lower and it all sounds trash XD
Please compare with the original .... this is good, but not AS good. Search "Albert Ammons Boogie Woogie Blues". Listen to both versions repeatedly until you know the difference in your body. It may take you a long time .... the difference is subtle, but once you know it --- you'll be connected with the real blues for life.
Looooove it! 85 y/o here! Ready to BOOGIE! Enjoyed your tunes ! Thanks! 🎼🎶🎶🎶🎶
I have been playing piano for fifty something years and I am glad to see and hear that the future of this genre of music is literally in good hands.

The older the piano 🎹 sweeter the sound...nice job...
For a spinet it actually sounds pretty decent.
Boogie Woogie Blues at its best.
The only thing to come out of Chicago.
Boogie Woogie
Blues.
I believe the origins of boogie-woogie are from the southwest, principally Texas.
Magnifique, j'adore, à écouter et ré-écouter... Merci
before to sleep, what a pleasant play, thanks
This is so cool. It hops. I like it. I find it amazing that he doesn't just chord with his left hand. He seems to be walking the bass. Great!!

@@emusictutor8740 it is also the left hand used in boogie woogie stomp right?
Wow! How can I get this masterpiece?
to follow the fingers is also very pleasant, for me who don't play nothing,
My favorite ,can you play us slowed down ,of boogie wougie blues ,?wish love it ,thank you ever so much ,God bless stay safe
You can slow down all youtube videos - click the settings wheel under the video and choose "Playback Speed". Hope this helps. Cliff

Igual ao filme Tiana da Disney ❤
what do I have to do to be able to play like that esspecially with two independent hands?
Very good. Is there a conscious choice to play this in F or is that what the original is played in? (just wondering)
It's in C :)
@@emusictutor8740 ah yeah so it is. Fooled me
Heaven👻
Who cares about the cam - great playing. Masterpiece it is (Ammons), but I like your slower tempo, too.
