      Not at all. Very sandy. A little bit of seaweed but very nice.

    Looks like you & your family really enjoyed the trip.
    We booked for March 2020 to The Grant at Moon Palace.
    I heard people said, should bring your own water floats as they charged quite a bit to rent, any advise !

      We stayed at the Grand so I can’t certainly say but from what we saw (quickly) it looked very nice.

    Did you fly your drone in Mexico? The reason I’m asking is I heard they’re banned now in Mexico.

    • @DaxM
      @DaxM  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Really? Didn’t know that. I checked the web too before I left. As of when? Just curious.

    Thanks for this. Was the ocean water really cold?

      It wasn’t too cold at all. Very refreshing.

    Just curious what drone did you use? Great footage

    • @DaxM

      That wasn’t my footage...and if it was I wouldn’t say it’s mine 😛 apparently drones are outlawed in Mexico.

    Moon palace food beverage rooms all brilliant
    Sadly beach shockingly bad
    Pool ain't that great either
    Waiting on buggies to take you anywhere is soul destroying

    We were in the pool near the Cusco restaurant when it started raining. We didn't mind! :-)

      It's just part of the fun! :-) On the topic of weather, did you see the tornado?We were coming out of our room and I just happened to look back and I saw the tornado over the ocean. I called my family back so they could see it too. My sons videotaped it. My grandmother called us later saying it was even on the news here in Canada!!!

    • @DaxM
      @DaxM  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      WHAT??! No, never saw that. That would have been cool to see. Sad I missed that. Was it the day it rained?

    • @timetoeat2800
      @timetoeat2800 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, it was later on in the week, maybe Wednesday or Thursday? At around 6pm. My youngest was scared! Workers at the resort were standing on the roofs to get a better look at it. We showed our waiter the video and he brought over more waiters who wanted a look as well.When I saw it, the weather was clear, so it was very strange. I thought it was just a weird looking cloud at first.

    Did you leave your M3 charged while you are gone?

    • @DaxM
      @DaxM  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ya I plugged it in and had it charged to 400km (80%). When I got back home after 7 days it was only down to about 371km. Around 7% loss (1%/day). Not bad at all.

      @@DaxM If you went on a much longer trip, say 30 days, would you keep your car plugged in the outlet while you were gone? Just wondering what you recommend.

    • @DaxM
      @DaxM  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mark W oh for sure. I’d hate to have it completely drain while I’m gone for that long. I’ve always been told, A happy Tesla, is a charging Tesla. Or something like that....hahaha

    How was the video arcade do they take tokens?

    • @DaxM
      @DaxM  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The arcade is something else. It’s like a kid’s dream arcade. No token, no money, nothing needed. You just walk up and play.

      @m.ericapple3355 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That sounds great!!! I’m booking for June any advice for me ? should I request a particular building? My kids would spend the majority of the time in the pools but my son also is a big gamer and are tips extra? Thanks so much for your videos? Eric.

    • @DaxM
      @DaxM  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      M. Eric Apple our building was right next to the water park (which had an arcade in the centre) and we stayed in building 94. So if you want to request anywhere from building 91-94. That should be close.
      Also if your family wants to do the reservable a la cartè restaurants a BIG TIP is to download the resort app for iOS or android and reserve on there as opposed to doing it over the phone. It’s quicker and easier and better to get your reservations.
      FYI: We’re doing a follow up video of pros and cons for the resort coming soon. Stay tuned for that.

      Never been there so I can’t comment. Keep in mind, I didn’t get a chance to show nearly 1/2 of what I had to offer.
