While we were filming for "The Teacher's Country" (www.theteacherscountry.de) near Lake Victoria in December 2011, John Magufuli, minister for infrastructure by then, passed by to open a new ferry that connected Kome Island to the mainland. We took the opportunity to conduct a short interview with him on infrastructure and Tanzania's development in the future.

I am an italian man. I studied Magufuli, a politician I discovered and appreciated for his complaint against the effectiveness of tampons. He was a great and courageous president, an honest man who had reduced his salary (from $ 15,000 to $ 4,000) defended the interests of the people. I also appreciated his position on covid and against dangerous vaccines. In my opinion they killed him even though he officially died of heart problems. Magufuli will forever remain a political example of integrity for all. I agree about Magulification of Africa!

Hauwezi amini nilitembelea hifadhi za Tarangire, Natron, Eyasi, Kogatende, Serengeti na Ngorongoro lakini madereva wanapanda juu ya Magari na miti kuongea na Simu. Huku ni kutesa Madereva na Wageni. Serekali inashindwa nini kuwasiliana na TTCL, AIRTEL, VODACOM, HALLOTEL, ZANTEL ili kuwaruhusi kujenga minara ya mawasiliani maeneo haya muhimu.
