Following on from what I said at the end of the video, I've only used After Effects for a few hours before so I don't have a full picture of its capabilities once learnt. What's your experience of it been like compared to DaVinci Resolve's Fusion tab?
Didn't tryed ae myself but i guess the splines there (idk if its called that way) looks way more cleaner. In DR the splines (still dont know if thats the right name) are pretty blocky.
I would call them a spline or graph. It does seem to look cleaner, although based on what someone else has said, that might be because it has less options and features available so is simpler in style. Hopefully as DaVinci Resolve updates some of these visual thing will be improved. Thanks for the comment 😀
Glad you like the video, the other screens of DaVinci Resolve (except from the Cut and Render tabs) also have dual-screen functionality. In the edit tab you can actually have a full-screen timeline with the viewer and other things on the second monitor being super useful for more complex projects. Having said this DaVinci Resolve's layout customisation is relatively minimal at the moment so hopefully they update that soon 😀. Thanks for the comment!
@ Brilliant. I haven't used the keyframe and spline windows until watching your video because they were difficult to see. Now that they're expanded on the other screen, I'll use them often. As you said, they're quite powerful. Thank you again for the explanation.
Spline panel in fusion has way more features then in After effects 's graph editor. Although you might sometimes need speed graph from it . And some people can find it difficult to grab and move key frame in key frame panel for that you can adjust grab distance from settings. And Ae have some kickass paid plugin for timeline manipulation
Thanks for the insight 😀. Plugins is something where hopefully with time the DaVinci Resolve community will grow, and therefore a greater number of options will be produced.
0-100 isn't something I've thought about yet, but could be an interesting idea. I have thought about doing a video showing how to make something, where in the process you learn the fundamental and more fusion techniques hands on, so this could work well as a 0-100 style. I'm currently starting to experiment with the 3D side of fusion too, so that would definitely have some more advanced tutorials with it. Basically, yes I have thought about it, and hopefully as I get better at fusion, I can make my tutorials cover more complex content too 😀. Sorry, that's a very long response to a simple question!
It's definitely usable on a single-screen setup, especially for smaller less complex projects however not ideal. Having just got DaVinci Resolve Studio I can now take advantage of the 3 screen setup with that! There are always more monitors needed 😀

Clear, helpful, concise, informative. You are an instant subscribe.
Thanks! I'm glad you found the video all those things 😀. Hopefully something there can be useful for you.
Great video. I have a second monitor and didn’t realise that it would make Fusion so much easier to use. Thanks

@DvResolveTutorials Will You do some advanced fusion tutorials in the future? Like 0-100 tutorial of something

@DvResolveTutorials No problem! Yea for sure that would be awesome, happy to see it coming 💪
Great video, thanks much
Thanks for the comment😀. Glad you liked it!
Ah, the pain it is to use Davinci on a single monitor
