As far as I am concerned, it's spirituality, a vision in the mind which is bigger than myself that feeds me when I take massive action every day to achieve them.
When Ramana Maharshi meets Rick James and Chris Rock. A lot more fun and positive for sure. Life IS wonderful when you don't just listen to him but FEEL his vibration. His energy. It is real.

Joy, truth and love are simply different aspects of the same thing. One of them always leads to the other. Since joy, love and truth are different aspects of the same energy, the same reality, then you can't separate them. Love is the truth and joy is also the truth. We are all just uncovering what is already there. What already exists. And what already exists is The Truth. Otherwise called ultimate reality. The whole point of spiritual growth is to experience more joy and love. That's the truth

He says everything is in this Presence. He means that literally, because the spirit of God is larger than the universe (larger than life if you like) and God actually fills and surrounds everything. Just as your soul is much larger than your physical body and fills and surrounds it. So God is within you and you are also within God.

After performing miracles he said "Why are you so amazed? These things and more shall you do also" and "your faith has made you well".

Who says I am not already happy? What makes you happy may not make other people happy. I, personally, find truth is more important. I, frankly, don't find happiness in making other people "feel good". I think "feeling good" for the sake of "feeling good" is a form of self-deception. It's a lie. And the truth will always lead to greater overall happiness in the end. Even if it doesn't happen before your last breath, at least you can know your intentions were pure and noble.
Jesus says die to self. I'm rocking with Christ Jesus. He is the only way. I'll be praying for you.
These are Jesus teachings, without religion added by man. Jesus also said: "look and you shall find". Do your own research, plenty resources available.

I disagree. I think the purpose of life is to discover truth. Joy is the RESULT of being in harmony with truth. Joy is not the end product to be obtained. The ultimate end product is truth.
Truth is relative upon where the individual is in their evolution of understanding. Everyone has their own "relative truth" depending on that stage of evolution. We'll never understand the "real truth" because the force behind the creation of that truth is beyond our physical comprehension. As an example the brain has an amazing capacity to work through the physical senses and through the realm of the unconscious. But the degree at which the brain can function has its limits. The force that created the brain is beyond such limiting restraints.
Let me put it to you this way using your way of thinking. If you could choose to know the truth or be happy, and you couldn't have both, which one would you choose? I'd choose happiness over the truth any day. I'd rather feel joy than have anything else that is not joy. Without peace, without joy, you have nothing. What could be more important than feeling good? Also, when people feel good they have a strong tendency to make much better decisions than when they feel bad. :D

TEDx - be aware of what you do. If you are happy present here and now - please share, but if you you put frames in video - do you really think that it will work? At least let people know this. (!!!!!!!!!!!!!) Grades of zombies have never made anybody happy... If somebody thinks that what I write is bullshit - check the video and keep your mind out of this. You are already rich, graceful and done! Any doubds - download this video and ask questions in court or look for something else. If it really makes sence what you watch - why then to put extra frames in it?
I think the problem here is that you believe that love and joy are not reality but merely approximations of reality created by our brain. That's an incorrect conclusion. Dumb decisions are those decisions that decrease our overall well-being. Physical, mental, emotional well-being are simply expressions of joy. People that are happy most of the time usually make smart decisions. Joy increases a person's ability to make wise decisions while unhappiness and negativity decreases a person's judgment

And, there is a VERY simple reason that TRUTH is the most important thing. The reason is that TRUTH=REALITY. Other things such as "joy" and "happiness" are merely the way our brains APPROXIMATE reality. But, if we happen to KNOW what reality is, why do we need to APPROXIMATE it??? We DON'T!!! These are merely lower brain functions left over from our evolution. I am certain they will eventually be weeded out by evolution. People who are overly emotional often make dumb decisions.

He's talking bout 4 stages wich humanity goes trough. Wich one of is SURVIVAL , then he says we've learned how to survive in the western world so we can move on to the next stage ,wich is spiritual growht. But what gives us the right to move on spiritual while people still are abused, have 6 cars while others die of hunger and fight stupid wars ? I could believe in a god ,ognastic i am, but not in one who asks to ignore the mess we made for others and focus on the good we have for ourselves and our close friends so it could shine trough me ... sounds more like satan to me ...

Further on, Beckwith said he had "revelations" and "inner initiations" that rocked his world and his dream "lasted for months" and that in his dream he was "penetrated by the universal presence" that changed his life.
Universal presence? Revelations? Inner initiations? Does anybody really know what the fuck he is talking about!? Does it really have any relevance to the immediacy of our lives? If Beckwith had all these insights, one must ask, to what degree? I ask because he knows all too well that a legitimate spiritual awakening is a matter of degree. Unlike Gangagi, Adyshanti, and Eckhart Tolle, Beckwith is not enlightened as they are and you never hear these truly enlightened masters brag and rehash their about how much they suffered in the past and then engage in new age sophism as Beckwith does to fill time and make you believe his so called "revelations" were "all that" when in reality his revelations was on how to master bull-shitting.
Erich Fromm was on to this long before Beckwith was even born

But in large part the doctrines and teachers are either fraudulent,or vitiated by the spirit of public relations ballyhoo, or mixed up with the financial and prestige interests of the respective gurus. Some people may genuinely benefit from such methods in spite of the sham; others will apply them without any serious intention of inner change. But only a detailed quantitative and qualitative analysis of the new believers could show how many belong to each group"
I would have more respect for Beckwith and other teachers like him if they told us upfront what stage of spiritual and psychological development they are presently in so well described by Ken Wilber which I'm sure Beckwith knows about quite well. But if the masses are clueless because they are too enthralled by his ballyhoo, why should he care to make the real efforts to become truly enlightened when he can fake it and make millions in the process? Sad and quite upsetting to see that even those who claim to be the spiritual teachers can be just as disingenuous as our politicians. Beckwith is more a distraction than a spiritual teacher.

Read anything a little more up to date??? In Darwin's time the mathematics wasn't there to understand that random processes are not usually truly random. If you read texts that are more up to date (say, from the 20th or 21st centuries) you will find what I am saying is correct.
